We have been perfectly delighted with Hurley Vet. The facility is always clean and well maintained, and the staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They always explain what they're doing and why, and patiently answer all of our questions. Our current dog is now 12 years old and healthier than most humans of comparable age. She is the first dog we've ever had who was eager to visit the vet, which presumably means she is as delighted as we are.

Best vet in the area! The doctors, techs, and support staff are wonderful and truly seem to care about my dog. My dog has diabetes and other health complications and I fully trust the care that he receives from Hurley Veterinary Hospital.

I cant thank the doctors, techs and staff enough for everything they did for my baby dog, me and my fiance today. We called due to an emergency and they took him quickly they were so kind and caring. To the lady who answered the call and checked us out you were the sweetest human ever im so sorry I didn't get your name. But please know you helped me calm down and breath. This has to be one of the best vet clinics I've been to. Thank you so much for your kindness and love. We will being using you guys again and will definitely recommend to our friends.

Hurley Veterinary Hospital is wonderful. Doctors, Techs and staff are all very engaged and professional. We never feel rushed and our animals are treated with caring, respect and compassion. I wish human hospitals treated their patients so well.

There is no other vet I’d use in this area. Every staff member I’ve encountered from techs, receptionists, and the vets have been very kind and understanding. They work with you and communication has always been wonderful. Their pricing is very reasonable, especially for exotics which tend to be VERY expensive. Dr. Rosenberg and Dr. Gunzberg are the best ever for exotics.I adopted my sweet rabbit Mabel from the SPCA and she came with lots of issues from her previous housing situation. Dr. Gunzberg performed surgery to remove a mass on her rectal area. The mass turned out to be very vascular and she almost bled out from it. He quickly stabilized her and saved her. He called me to keep me updated the whole time, and answered every question I posed with a kind hearted nature. The site has healed beautifully.Dr. Rosenberg has seen her for all other ailments. He has always greeted me with kindness and is very attentive to all my questions and concerns. He has fit me in whenever my two bunnies have issues. He’s dealt with her stasis and urinary issues, squeezing in things to be assessed so I didn’t have to come back for another appointment. I’ve never felt judged or rushed. The way he interacts with them is exactly what you want from a vet, sweet and gentle. You can tell he truly loves animals and his job.Having a “special needs” animal can be very tricky and exhausting and every single staff member has done their best to help me along the way. I call/text (probably too often) and they address my concern every single time. I’ve been to other vets and not a single one compares. I’ve been in close to 7-8 times in one year and have had a positive experience every single time. They even accept CareCredit which is so helpful. I can’t thank you all enough for your hard work and dedication to all the animals. It does not go unnoticed. You should ALL be so proud to be apart of such a wonderful establishment. Words can’t express my gratitude.

He is smart, kind and compassionate, and was able to assist us in providing the best care for our Bichon and Maltese during their last few years. We have been bringing our pets to Hurley for a few years and can't imagine going anywhere else. The staff is extremely friendly and responsive and we love the vets!From a routine check-up to an emergency, we always feel like we're in good hands. For us, this is one of the most important things we look for when it comes to animal care.Last year, our sweet dog of nearly 18 years passed away—one of the most painful experiences of our life. We are so deeply grateful for the support and compassion everyone at Hurley showed us during is declining last year, and ultimately in his last moments. It was a gift we will forever cherish.

This is by far the best office, and at this point the only office, I will regularly take my pets to. Regardless of who we end up seeing, or if it's a regular or emergency appointment, they are amazing. Even with my dog with a bite history, they have never made me feel in any way judged for how my pets behave under stress. Nor have they ever pushed a service or treatment. I can not recommend them highly enough.

My puppy got injured by our older dog and was bleeding bad!!!! We called the office to see if they fix him up and after being a 30 yr customer was told no we are too busy.Sorry but you don’t treats 30yr client that way and we have 4 dogs. So now we don’t use them. And wouldn’t recommend them anymore. I got tons of friends to use Hurley vet over the years to fantastic service . Now you’re just a number. Won’t use them again their loss.

Just a few days before Christmas, 2023, my 7 year old Shihtzu became quite ill. Our regular Vet was on vacation so we went to the Emergency Vet, as advised by our Vet, only to be told they could not see my pup. I had been a client of Hurley Animal in the past and decided to try to get an appointment. When I called and explained my situation, they saw my Shihtzu that same morning. We have since switched both of our dogs to Hurley Animal and are so happy we did. Friendly staff, wonderful Vet, and I haven't had to wait very long for appointments. 5 stars!

I was sad to not be able to be present for Dr. Rosenberg's farewell reception, since he and Dr. Gunzburg took very good care of my dog Scout and my cat Zelle, both of whom struggled with end stage illness and required their knowledge and compassion. When I moved here from Long Island in 2003, it took me many years to find the level of veterinary care I took for granted in my former home. But of course it's more then technical expertise, application of knowledge, it's also caring for the Human on the other side of the table. They do this very well.

Last evening my 14 yo male cat’s hind legs became temporarily paralyzed and he was having difficulty urinating. The amount was very small and topped with some blood.I called the Hurley Veterinary Hospital, where he is a client, early this morning and left a message. Within 5 minutes I received a call back and had an appointment scheduled for an hour and a half later! What a relief and what fantastic customer service! Thank you so very much.I was fortunate to have had Dr Zeoli attend to us. This was the first time I’d met her. What a lovely, kind, professional and knowledgeable doctor. After discussing the situation I decided it best to euthanize my cat. Dr Zeoli and the staff who attended were exemplary. You all helped to make an unplanned and sad outcome manageable.The only unfortunate thing I encountered is that Dr Zeoli is only there to assist the busy practice 😹. What good fortune to have had her there today. She made a very positive impression on me.Thank you, Dr Zeoli.

We've been bringing our 2 dogs here since 2015! The office and rooms are very clean and well-kept. We've always had good service, but lately they have been extra helpful in accommodating us (on such short notice) with our aging dog with a long list of ailments. They always listen, and present all of the options so we can make an informed decision. We are never rushed during our visits, and they try and make sure we are taken care of whenever something comes up!

My kitty had a terrible rodent ulcer. I took her to another vet twice who wasn’t very helpful. The doctor put her on a special diet and explained why very clearly. It worked. Her lip is healing and she is much happier.

I've been bringing my dog to Hurley Vet for a little over a year now and Dr. Ferguson has been amazing. She always answers all of my questions thoughtfully. All of the vet techs and the women that work the front desk are always so friendly and helpful as well. I recently adopted a second dog and she got an x-ray done by Dr. Rosenberg - he explained everything thoroughly and I felt like I could trust him immediately. I have only had positive experiences here and am happy to know that my dogs are in such great hands.

I can’t say enough about Hurley Veterninary Hospital. I have been going there for 10 years and have always received impeccable care . I have seen many of the vets but Dr Gunzburg is the primary caregiver to my girls. I trust his advice and judgement 100%. The staff is terrific ! From the girls up front to the vet techs , everyone is friendly, helpful and understanding. I have seen some reviews stating they feel they are expensive, but I disagree. I feel their prices are fair.. I would never want to go elsewhere for a lower price and jeopardize the quality of care my girls receive. I highly recommend all of the vets . I have to add , I do miss Dr Baker . When Dr Gunzburg was not available, he saw my guys and I found him to be fantastic also.
