Hannaford is a nice store. The produce catches your eye when entering the store and always looks amazing. They also carry things others don't. Very clean, always well stocked. My only issue is they are higher priced than their competition but I guess that's the way it is all over today. All in all it's a good store

There are limited grocery store options in the area, or else I would shop for groceries elsewhere more often. Clean store, nice people, usually stocked with what you need. Overpriced.

I was surprised this store had some great deals going on even after the 4th of July! I got a gallon of whole milk for $2.99. In my local store, it's closer to $4.Plus, I can "clip" coupons online that are automatically added to checkout without having to carry them around. The online shopping list is very helpful too, I just look at my phone instead of forgetting my list at home! They have curbside pickup if you prefer. This store is over 30 minutes from my house, but they're clean, friendly and well stocked, worth the trip!

I don’t review supermarkets usually but the five stars are for the employee Hamilton — his service is pro-active and caring :) He came out of nowhere and asked us what we are looking for. The item we needed was sold out. He said he’ll make sure he’ll bring it back in 2 days. We went there after 2 days and it was true! Thank you Hamilton! I hope Hannaford treats you right!

Went around 8, was quiet, selection was nice. Went to pay and I greeted the person working the register and person bagging to no reply as they flirted. Greeted again to no reply as they continued flirting. Asked how they are to not reply as they continued flirting. Helped bag up until payment was ready, asked the person bagging not to place the raw scallops and pork in with my other products, got an "Okay" as my first reply finally and they put the raw scallops and pork in with my fruit and ready to eat products anyways.I don't expect much but the customer experience with the two on service was absolutely awful.

Great selection of fresh produce, fruit (they sometimes have the champagne mango, my favorite), cheeses, humus varieties. I often get their prepared crab cakes @ $1.50 in a pack of four in their seafood department. They're actually quite good. About a mile off Rte 28 on Rte 375 towards Woodstock.

Pleasant staff, always has sale items in stock at the store. No limit on how much of a sale item you can buy at the sale price. I give 4 stars because a few times there sirloin steak was like rubber and very hard to eat. Just won't buy that anymore.

I used to work here a couple years ago. I put in my two week notice because I had a better job offer, and that's what I told them when they asked why I'm leaving so they politely wished me the best. 😊 After I had started my new job, I continued to be a very happy customer at this Hannaford because I live right next to it. However one day, when I approached the deli department as a shopper, my old co-worker that I was also friends with on Facebook had offered to sell me some marijuana which we talked about in the past. It would have been for an elderly friend of mine in pain. Not me. LOL. So I was asking if we should exchange addresses, but I was doing it in code and sort of like a comedy skit, so one of my jokes was should I get your address? or how about I just give you mine! and I thought that he was playing back by saying no no no I don't play that.. I didn't know what he meant I thought he was playing along so I reinforced by saying hey buddy I'm not inviting you inside cool your jets! I'm just giving you my address so you can come to my porch okay trust is a must! stranger danger! etc... Basically I thought he was "acting" like I was trying to be a predator so I was "acting" back by turning the tables and talking to him like he was going to be the predator! But I guess it got lost in translation because the next time I came to the store to shop and turn in all of my freshly laundered Hannaford shirts that they make you pay for, the HR Guy brought me in a room alone with him to tell me I was banned from the store for making this kid uncomfortable. I was so tongue-tied. The HR guy was asking if I was trying to get his address and I told the truth but he didn't know the whole story. Also I'm on the spectrum which the HR guy had to have known because he hired me. So of course I thought this was a misunderstanding so I logged onto Facebook right away to tell my friend what was going on but there's no service in the building. Later I saw that this kid blocked me anyway. To this day I'm not sure how the misunderstanding happened between us and I also don't know how it was appropriate for a manager to ask a customer into his office alone with him... He had found me in an aisle and asked me to come with him into this side room and then he found out I was also trying to return freshly laundered t-shirts to him. He told me I was banned from this location and I have to leave immediately and that I can just toss the shirts so I left the building confused and crying and afraid if I wasn't moving fast enough he'd call the cops. Later I tried to plead my side with the man and he actually listened pretty deeply but I couldn't gauge if he just thought I was crazy. It hurt to be banned by the man that hired me because I thought he understood my heart. And it hurt that the shirts I had laundered were no longer good because of me. Like toxic waste had touched them... as workers we have to pay for each of our shirts past the one you get at orientation so I wanted to be a helpful person. Later I was able to talk to the store manager herself and be allowed back in as long as the kid I made uncomfortable isn't working at that time. It never felt quite right the whole situation and I think a great number of things could have been handled differently. Also, for somebody that I made uncomfortable he certainly spent a lot of time talking about wanting to get with women of a certain type you know the type that will let you do things to them that not every woman will let you do to them because that's a real woman and he went into a lot of detail. So the kicker is he made me uncomfortable often and I never even did anything. Now he works at a different Hannaford and I don't know if the same rules apply to this other Hannaford, so I'm constantly on the lookout and sometimes not shopping because of him and I don't know if he's going to get me arrested or I don't know! I wish someone would tell me what really went wrong because I feel like I'm missing pieces of the story!

Nice staff, but that's about the only good thing I can say about it. If you try to shop after 4:00 pm, they're out of many things that you want. They offer their own brands in the most popular sizes and the competitions brands in the less popular sizes. Not as good a selection of products as there was under the previous owners of this grocery store.

We were in desperate need of baby formula for our daughter while in the area for a vacation. Online, this supermarket was listed as carrying the product so I called to confirm they had it and the lady on the phone said she would put it aside for us to get later in the day. The market appeared to be very new and everything seemed very clean and orderly. The staff we interacted with was very kind and helpful.

This Hannaford is 100% a rip-off with pricing intended to gouge visitors and non-local folk. I find it unfortunate this is only real grocery option we have outside being completely hosed at Sunflower Market or hauling your way out to Kingston or Saugerties.

I miss Hurley Ridge supermarket, and their excellent sandwiches, but the Hannaford reincarnation of Hurley Ridge is pretty good and it's mostly the same.Good beer selection for a local chain supermarket!

Eileen who works at this location was extremely helpful this morning when I needed assistance locating WIC items. She went above and beyond and was extremely knowledgeable. I’ve gone to other stores and most employees shrug and say they’re not familiar with WIC and that’s the end of the conversation. Her kindness and willingness to help really stood out to me and was very much apprecoated.

I've been to many supermarkets in my almost 38 years on earth and this place while can't keep up with the produce but tries hard has the most amazing employees and make it so easy to get in and out. They may not have evert product a large chain on long island may have but it's by far my go to food store in the Woodstock hurley area..they seem to misunderstand how to use WIC and EBT before paying the remainder but they try to help best way possible which is awesome. Still Good for a local smaller store

I love Hannaford stores for their store brand root beer-it’s one of the best!! This store is small and kind of drab. Self checkout is good. It has all the major items you would need.

I'll admit that I miss the Hurley Ridge Market. Hannaford's is different. The store is organized a little bit better. It pushes house brands heavily, most of which are good. The butcher is too separated from the customer, so you cannot see what they have available or speculate on what might be good. I'd like the old approach more, which encouraged interaction, although the staff are certainly friendly, many of them are holdovers.

One of the better markets in the region. Produce and selection of goods are first-rate. It is easy to put a delicious meal together with the fine quality of foods available.

This is one of my favorite supermarkets. All are so helpful and always willingly to be there for customers. Example, I thought I had signed up with their benefit/savings card, and I was not, the CSR took her phone and help me signed up with Hannaford.(My phone was running low on battery). Wow, what great, awesome customer service!!!!!!!! Thank you guys for this.Foods are top notch!!! It's a feeling of very local farmers market feel with Hannaford and I love it!!! Thank guys u r the best 👍💯!!

Awesome. All the crappy aspects of Hurley Ridge are gone. It basically looks just like Hurley Ridge only better selection and awesome prices. Just what this area needs. No more robbing the locals blind with exorbitant prices. I don't understand the previous review that said the amazing sushi has been replaced by bad sushi. Hurley Ridge had terrible sushi, so there's no change there. Boar's head replaced by Hannaford products? They still carry Boar's Head. I saw it behind the Deli. And prepared foods replaced by trash food? Hurley Ridge's prepared food was trash as well. So again, no real change. And even if all that actually were true, there are other places in the area to get sushi, Boar's Head, and good prepared food; there was no other place to go grocery shopping without getting ripped off. So, it's still a huge improvement.

The management has BLOCKED OFF access to the registers so that you need to walk through the entire store and contact dozens of people just to get one item. I understand the six foot markers at the far end, but making all customers wander the whole store is not only defeating the purpose, but WAY WORSE.

Very good supermarket satisfying most needs. The one exception is the produce area. Way overpriced, as are most supermarkets. You can always do better at a smaller Fruit Stand, but not the ones that cater to tourists. I come from the New York City area, and there are many small stands where you can get peaches for $1 a pound, rather than $2. At Trader Joe's, you can get bananas for $0.19 each, which equates to 4 bananas for the same price, weight-wise, as at Hannaford where you get 2.And there you go.

The convenience of having a Hannaford close to Woodstock is great. Of note, it's a small store and it's first priority is stocking Hannaford brand products. They are often out of Boice Brother's milk, their commercial cheese is predominantly Hannaford brand, though they have a decent selection of speciality cheese, and the Feather Ridge Farm eggs are the most expensive variety that Feather Ridge offers. Their organic produce section is small, and all the mushrooms are boxed. Having said that, the rotisserie chicken is quite good and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Baked goods are ok and they do stock baked goods and breads from local bakeries. I think they are making a good effort to provide a decent selection for the community, but their obligation to corporate headquarters does, of course, dominate. Still, much nicer than traveling into Kingston, time-wise.

Stopped in while driving to Woodstock to pick up a few things. This is a pretty well-stocked store. I was surprised at the prices. Not that they were high--they were quite reasonable. This is a little surprising given that Hannaford's is so close to Woodstock ever everything is absurdly expensive!

Affordable shopping in Woodstock! Lots of store brand organic foods and produce. Good selection for the size of the store. I only wish they were bigger and could offer more locally made products - maybe in the future?!?
