Would definitely recommend a trip here! There's four buildings filled with the most gorgeous jewellry and home wear sourced from local artists. The pottery here is stunning and the service is exceptional as they offer you hot cider or wine as you look around. Lovely!

This place has become too well known. It was a hidden gem. I have known about this place for 20years it feels like. The pottery used to be heavy and sturdy now it's light and mass produced it feels like. It's definitely worth the trip. Beautiful handmade jewelry, pottery, ornaments, scarfs, soap; way cheaper then Woodstock. I don't mind supporting an aspiring artist but the prices here have inflated greatly. When I buy pottery I want heavy duty because it last longer. I don't mean to right a bad review but if you have never been here, you must go but compared to years ago it's changed a lot. Guess that just shows my age.

Wonderful! Love this place! So much diversity of art forms: jewelry, pottery, painting, wooden spoons, book marks, cribbage boards, metal works, Christmas ornaments, baskets, fabric, glass works, hand made animal puppets, etc.. To me, it would seem almost impossible for someone to visit here and not find several things that they like. Perfect place for birthday and holiday shopping!!!

I didn’t hear any gunshots like some nut job review commented below. We did enjoy the free drinks and collection of wonderful affordable arts and crafts. Hidden gem, definitely worth a stop.

Very artistic elegant items. A fantastic place to feast your eyes n find a perfect gift or new treasured item. Several buildings n they treat you to a glass of wine or hot cider to hold as you gently stroll around beauty

The Crafts People has 4 buildings of amazing crafts from jewelry, candles, toys, ceramic plateware, glassware, etc. The staff is very friendly and are glad to help you with suggestions.It is out of the way but well worth the drive for a gift for someone special!

Fantastic inventory! So fun to shop around, have a glass of wine, and talk to the owners, Rudy and Mary. Good inventory of jewelry, paintings, and ceramics. Ask for Mary Elwyn's silverware. I wish I could buy the entire set! Highly recommended.

A most amazing crafts shopping center contained in 4 separate houses on one property in rural Hurley near Ashokan Reservoir . One of a kind property, amazing crafts, and a most kind staff. Really worth a stop, have been there many times and always find something I just must buy.

The best part about crafts people is the collection of all different artists selling in one place. Sometimes, I simply don't click or pop with one artists style, but because hundreds of different local artists sell their works here, I always find something that speaks to me or piques my interest. This is a must stop for anyone into anytype or jewelery, pottery, and other local art

There's a Jihadist terrorist training camp across the street from this place. That's what all the shooting and bombs exploding is about. The proprietor of Crafts People is so drunk all the time, he thinks they're shooting deer.
