Amazing experience here from start to finish.Arrived around 8am on a Saturday and I was quickly shown where to go and given a clipboard to fill out. The team was great helping me find boots that fit properly and making adjustments to my equipment. Efficient process from start to finish.You can't beat the price in the area and all the employees were so friendly. I love that the shop is 3rd generation and owned by a brother/sister team.I was very tempted to buy some skis while I was there as well! This is where I will be getting my equipment from going forward when I am in the area!

5 stars all around. I came here a few weeks ago with my family and they helped us all with the ski/snow boarding rentals. We even rented out some snow pants and coats. The price is great especially for its location. They also have a dog named Brooklyn and she is absolutely the sweetest!

We came to this resort for just one day of skiing. We walked in to Snowbird Ski Shop and were immediately greeted with very friendly and extremely efficient service. We were in and out in a very short time although the place was full of customers. The price was amazing as well. Thank you.

This mom & pops ski gear shop is where you must go to be prepared to hit the slopes! The gear is good quality, the service is fantastic and it’s affordable. I paid just under $50 for all the gear(skis, poles, boots, helmets). Highly recommend & I will be returning.

Wowww!!! I have never been talked to as nasty in a phone call to an establishment in my entire life . Called and ask how there rentals work for reservations or do we just come day of , and if they have size availability and didn’t even finish my sentence to be met with “be a normal human being and come pick up when you want them , everyone in this world forgets what it is to be normal now “ . And to say I’m sorry I was just asking about how it works with your establishment and to be followed up again with “be a normal human being and stop calling and just come in “ . Yeahhhh ummm I’ll go some place else . lol can you get any nastier ? Great job snow bird with whoever you have answering phones, working there, or if that was management or owner shame on you. ByePs and please don’t follow up with your generic response like you have in every review here that you appreciate the feedback and you work so hard for customer service and for me to have a great winter season. It seems as though from the many negative reviews that you don’t have a single problem with the way you talk and act and do not value customer experience and could care less about changing anything. You may not have a problem with how you operate but appears many do. Good day to you too

Helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The staff at Snowbird will open the door for you, help you carry your equipment to and from your vehicle all while doing it with a smile. They have all the gear you need to get out on the hill. Don’t forget to say hi to Brooklyn who is always there to greet you. Hunter mountain is lucky to have this ski shop in town and is located conveniently near the entrance to the mountain. Thanks Snowbird!

Customer service absolutely horrible. I just got off the phone with the lady with some questions and had a nasty attitude. I highly suggest management to retrain their staffs. It is completely unacceptable for me to call with a question regarding size selections to hear “you guys are driving me crazy holy smokes how big is this person 500 pounds”. Extremely inappropriate comments. I should not feel belittled like this when I will be putting my money into this shop.

This place is an actual nightmare. I waited in line outside and walked into this place at 8:50 am. It is now 10 am. I got my rentals at Killington and Deer Valley in literally 5 minutes. Like, the worst rental process on earth. Hoards of people and no line, and when people asked where the line was, the woman at the counter said, “Aruba,” and laughed. She said, “You try to get employees to work in America.” The woman at the front is so rude and is ridiculously unprofessional. And when people make genuine complaints, the two of them just laugh and say, “I teach middle schoolers, nothing can scare me.” They don’t take reservations and need to go digital. It would fix ALL of their issues. They do everything by freakin paper. Helmets picked over, no organization…oh my god I have anxiety just thinking about this place. As I said. GO ANYWHERE ELSE unless you want to start your ski day on a disaster note.

My experience in the store was great, the staff was friendly and very nice, it wasn't packed, price was decent, there was even a shop dog that was super cute. I had to deduct stars though because of the equipment (the most important part of the entire renting experience). I rented snowboard boots/board/helmet for ~$47 after taxes for janky gear. The boots were loosening up as I moved to the point where I couldn't do 1 full run down a green without having to tighten the boots MULTIPLE times. Literally had to tighten it after I hopped off the lift, after half way through, then again when I reached the bottom. I'm still a beginner at snowboarding and this loose boot made it very difficult for me to learn properly because I thought I was doing something wrong the entire time when I couldn't turn a certain way before I realized it was the boot.They should have done their due diligence in checking the equipment to make sure everything is working perfectly. I let them know that the boots were loosening up a lot on its own when I returned the gear, but I didn't get any apologies or anything. I would definitely recommend anyone renting here to double check (or ask them to) the gear before leaving for the mountain.

The employees at Snowbird Ski Shop were sooooo friendly and so helpful. When there was a bunch of people in their shop, they made sure we were taken care of the second we walked in and again when we returned our ski equipment. Their dog Brooklyn was also a big hit and so adorable. Anytime we return to Hunter we will 100% rent from Snowbird !!!
