This store has a bright vibe no matter the weather, mostly due to the fun props set up in the front of the store. There is a large variety of different liquors, from international to many local options. I happily bought some local whiskeys to bring home and appreciated the fair prices.

Came here on a Saturday, and was immediately greeted by the very friendly owner. I asked for a recommendation on a unique and especially pungent wine, and he gave me a few to choose from (all reasonably priced), explaining each wine in detail. I appreciated how knowledgeable he was about all the various natural wines, without being intimidating about it! He provided a warm atmosphere, without being pushy. The owner also excitedly recommended an amaro that we had been eying, explaining how it was the cheaper alternative to a well known amaro for cocktails (PS we have since opened the bottle, and agree that this is a fantastic alternative). Before we left, he let us try a reserved Chartreuse! We loved this shop, and think it's worth a stop if you are looking for interesting selection of liquor and wines.

Mark and Kaylee who co-run these businesses (Elevated Wines and the adjacent -and new- gourmet food store) are exceptionally talented at choosing the best wines and local foods. I am a local and come in a couple of times a week to grab some products and gab. Thrilled to have this option available in the Hunter-Tannersville area and can't wait to see the continued options that keep popping up at the food store. It is great to purchase from people that are so kind and trying to lift up local vendors. Cheers guys!

Cute wine shop that doesn't focus on the commercialized labels. The help was fantastic-- I told her a couple of my favorites and she suggested a few bottles in a variety of prices, gently pushing me out of my comfort zone on one choice. All 3 bottles were great she correctly matched my preferences. Bravo!

Great selection! While the other liquor store in town sticks to the more standard things , they had these and also an amazing selection of lots of local liquors (gin, bourbon, vodka) and wines. The wine selection specifically was a nice surprise. They had pet nats and a few natural wines which aren’t always the easiest to find. The prices were very fair. There were labels/descriptions below featured/recommended wines explaining their tastes and what makes them different. This will be my go to in the area and i highly recommend.

On my first trip the guy was pretty clueless. Next time someone else was there and it was night and day. So informative and helpful. Selection isn’t massive but they have some really interesting wines.

This shop is a gem like no other. You will find a thorough and thoughtful selection of wines and spirits that will impress you, alongside their individual handwritten descriptions that will ignite your curiosity. As you browse through the impressive stocked shelves you will also find an enchanting collection of local vintage and historical postcards carefully placed that add to an undoubtably charming experience. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable, and my purchases, delicious! A must visit for the area.

I was so surprised to find a wine and spirits store like this at hunter mountain. The selection was absolutely incredible, awesome handwritten descriptions on every product, and so many natural and organic wines to choose from. The woman working there was so nice and helpful. This is a must visit on your trip to hunter mountainThis must be under new ownership, because the older reviews are NOT describing the place I visited at all.

New management must have taken over a few months ago, because this is not the Yellowtail joint described in old reviews. I used to WISH there was a shop this good close to me when I lived in NYC. For the Catskills, it's off the charts. I always find something close to what I want, and often better - and I like some unusual wines. I live over 30 minutes away and find myself making the trip, even though there are closer options.

Amazing folks took over a run down, and frankly junk wine shop. Why do junk wine shops even exist again? But now Elevated has top notch, hard to find spirits and super interesting curated shelves of wine from all over. Check the "staff picks" style shelves to the left of the entry for some stellar ever-rotating consumables.

I am no connoisseur but really had fun in this shop, with its friendly staff and large collection of NY State wines. They sold us a few bottles of delicious Riesling from the Finger Lakes.

Very limited selection of wine. The only Shiraz they carry is Yellow tail - which sucks. Very poor signage. The store is very easy to miss.
