The place is just that a small shack with about ten seats. The falafels were made to order and served hot. The dips both hummus and baba ganoush lacked flavor. The hummus wasn't creamy nor served with olive oil on top just a piece of olive. The baba ganoush was sour and also served with two pieces of olive. The pita bread was the thin pita served luke warm. The three things we purchased weren't particularly flavorful nor tasty. We thought this was going to be like the Taiim restaurant in NYC and unfortunately it wasn't

This is a great restaurant if you love humus, falafel, lamb shawarma, fresh guacamole as well as all kids of salads and Indian food too! While it’s a tiny place, they have tables on the sidewalk and one or two inside their restaurant!

Nice cozy place with friendly stuff and fresh food. I will come back again. Was delicious and made me full. Big plus if you're a soccer/football fan. The place has wifi but with password and not sure you can use it.

Food was mediocre. Branded as Israeli food but is lacking flavors, textures and ingredients. Pitas were flat and dry.We had a falafel “pita” (wrap) and hummus with chicken shawarma. Both got thumbs down. The falafel balls themselves were ok but the rest was not enjoyable. The lady who worked there was very nice but unfortunately we will not dine there again.

Delicious Falafel, a must try if you trend Mediterranean. And Chicken shawarma is spot on. Small shop with limited insulation from big windows. Had to wear a coat. Recommend take out during colder months :)

1st the portions are unreal. I had a wrap and the thing is bigger than my head. I think I'll be skipping dinner. Fresh and NOT BLAND. I was about to order more but that would be glutinous I see now. Oh well, that just means I'll be back to try other things. Oh yeah get a cookie, it's simple and that's somehow what made them perfect little snack while I waited 2.5 seconds for my food to be ready 😅, seriously they are fast.I just have to advise that you speak loud when you order.Full disclosure I left a sleepy racist diner in town to eat here, but I don't think that experience influenced my opinion. Enjoy!

We had a samosa, shawarma, and the owner's special with a mix of many incredibly tasty flavors wrapped in a pita.

Excellent food especially fried chickpea falafel wraps. A must have at least once a month to get the same value and taste as the Wall Street falafel vendors everyone loves. The food is fresh and the son of the owner's attitude is great. I expect another generation of good food. One Love, move in peace and in ease.

I’m not sure where they understand food intolerance or directions for that matter. I ordered a chicken shwarma which is a pretty simple dish. It consists of cutting the chicken off a skew and putting it in bread with the toppings of your choice. I specifically told the gentleman to add nothing more than hummus and tahini. For whatever reasons it took about 10 mins or so for him to bring me the dish with no one in the store. As I’m waiting he asks me if I would like it refried in onions and peppers. I specifically said that I have food poisoning intolerance issues and therefore I can’t have that. Upon eating I notice that there was a brown sauce dripping from my sandwhich. I thought nothing of it until it became increasingly more spicy. The first thing that came to mind is that I’m going to be in big trouble if this guy put anything more then what I asked for and I believe that he did. Now the end result for me is a night of excruciating pain and difficulty because they did not follow a simple request. I would not eat here if you have any food sensitivity’s because they do not follow directions

I can’t eat spicy foods so I loved that when I asked questions and requested that the food not be spicy they listened. Food was delicious. Packaged carefully.Nice variety of choices. The skirt steak over rice with lentils and the salad were delicious and well prepared. Looking forward to trying the falafel platter next.

Been coming here for many years, never been disappointed. I’d recommend the chicken Shwarma, spicy falafel wrap and turkey chili soup. AmazingCustomer service is second to none and the food is super fresh.Friendly ambiance and they’ll make extra spicy if that’s how you like it 🔥

It's okay, not more. But let's face it, calling it 'Israeli' food is a bit if a stretch. Its based on Armenian, Greek and Lebanese foods (when done properly). All of which have been in that part of the world for many, many thousands of years before .

Went in after several friends all recommended I check this place out. Ordered a spicy falafel platter and was blown away by not only the food but how kind and friendly the entire staff were. Very nice people who run a fantastic business and are amazing at their craft. Space is small, but it feels cozy more than cramped. It is a very enjoyable spot to sit back with friends and enjoy the well prepared foods they have to offer. Will definitely stop by here again next time I'm in the area.

This place has the best food and best customer service of ALL time. They are friendly, clean, fresh, well prepared food and beyond kind. They accept Apple Pay but be aware that you can’t tip them that way so bring cash to TIP. I’m going back to tip them when I have cash because they deserve it.

Shawarma was inedible. It was bathed in some kind of spicy red sauce that made it impossible to be able to taste the Shawarma or the salad. It is truly the worst Shawarma I’ve had in my life, and I have eaten it everywhere. I brought it to the counter to complain and ask if I could exchange it for a falafel. The person behind the counter told me he couldn’t because it had been half eaten. Ridiculous to lose a potentially good customer over the cost of a falafel. Nothing about this food is Middle Eastern and the quality is terrible. I guess that explains why it’s always empty when I drive by.

I’ve ordered a few times at this place and the food has been good. However, my last order, the hummus was grainy, sand texture, very unpleasant to eat so it was discarded. I call to mention this and the female employee offered an apology and stated no else has complained, which means nothing to me because It doesn’t change the fact that I was given horribly made hummus. For the $27 order and 15 min drive to this place , She could’ve offered a replacement or a refund. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

The place doesn’t look like much when you walk in, but you know the saying, never judge a book by the cover. When you order from Talim and you speak to the owner or main chef, you can tell he is passionate about his food. There are places where they simply go through the motions and send you some mediocre dish but not here. The food is made fresh, with love, care and yes Lots and Lots of time .We had a conversation on how it took him 3 hours to prepare the tiki masala sauce for his dish or how long it took him to prepare the Tamarind juice. Hours and hours . I told him never change that, that is why people frequent this place. We ordered a regular falafel, spicy falafel, chicken samosa , fresh tamarind juice and chicken tiki masala to go.Well… I am so glad I ordered those items because they were by far the best I’ve had in 20 years. With pop up falafel chains coming to the area and restaurants cutting corners, it’s really refreshing to see a place that takes pride in fresh delicious food!It hit the spot!

Overrated, overpriced, assembled food.My wife and I were visiting the river towns to look at potential neighborhoods we’d be regulars in when we eventually move from the city to Westchester; we stopped at what we thought was a cute little shop - however the food was awful. The falafel so dry; the hummus too runny and not flavorful. The cous cous tasteless; the lamb was gross. The signs and specials have clearly deviated from the original menu and offer Mexican and American classics like mozzarella sticks, the latter of which are just fried restaurant depot boxed sticks.

We were looking for Israeli food, and thought we found it... the food wasnt terrible, but definitely not what we expected. For one, it was VERY spicy. Every plate (and there were 6 of us) was spicy. The cooks and owners are not Israeli. Completely decorated and all about soccer, blasting on TV. It's a cafeteria style seating, 3 tables there, very small. Plates were $15-18.

This food was not good.Falafel was very dry and had to be drowned in sauce to be edible. Pita was bland and stale. All of the veggie dishes we ordered (guacamole, hummus, baba ghanouj, stuffed grape leaves, chopped salad) had way too much lemon in them.If you’re looking for good middle eastern food, look elsewhere.

The food is just ok but prepared quickly. It is not Israeli food though. I would call it almost Mexican food. The rice was not Middle Eastern. The spices were Central American; onions and green and red peppers on adobo flavored rice. Strange. The place needs to decide what it wants to be. Clearly not Middle Eastern.
