One of my favorite antique shops in Hudson - they have such an beautiful, unique and diverse collection. The shop owners are also very kind and knowledgeable. We always stop by here whenever we are in town!

My boyfriend and I like to browse antique stores when we're on vacation. I am a 30 year old woman of color. Went here yesterday on our way home after a few days in the Catskills with my caucasian boyfriend and our friend who is also a person of color. We came in and there was no one else there except for an employee/worker- an old white man. He followed us around and made us feel VERY uncomfortable. We had visited several shops before and after, and NO ONE ELSE followed us the way this man did. Felt like he was watching our every move. Even my white boyfriend said he felt like that guy thought he was going to steal. The three of us are grown working adults on vacation and this guy had us feeling like we were some teenage miscreants. I make it a point to never patron any establishment that makes me feel uncomfortable. I will NOT be returning to this store the next time I'm in Hudson. It is 2021, racial profiling is unacceptable. Perhaps, next time I will make it a point to go to this store and if i'm followed around by this worker/ employee again to the point I am uncomfortable, I will stop what I'm doing and look this man directly in the eyes until HE is uncomfortable.
