Chinese food buffet: LoMein noodles were tasteless. I'm not overly picky, but these had no taste, zero, nothing. Edit: I was invited to comment at a site. Why? I already made my comment. If management honestly wants to look into this, they already have the opinion of one honest consumer. No need to waste their time and mine by asking me to contact them - again. Also, the first field at the link provided does not work. It says something like "My comment is about - select" but the drop down menu only gives my email address. I wonder why they don't know that their comment page is not working properly.

Shop here often and nine times out of 10 it's a good experience. I've had minimal issues here finding what I need or getting what I need from the ShopRite from home department. I usually do the ShopRite from home and that department has been excellent. They do a great job and I don't have any complaints. I would definitely recommend shopping here versus any other store in the immediate area.

Went here last night. I live in Southern Saratoga County and all the other shoprite stores were closed last Fall in my area so this is probably the only one left I'm assuming or at least is closest to me. They have more in products than other stores near me have. It is an hour south of me but it's worth it every now and then.

Extremely disappointed about the attitude of people working here, debating contacting a manager. An older cashier here with glasses and brown hair absolutely humiliated my autistic partner for not knowing about the self check out not accepting split payments. Not only did she condescendingly refuse to be helpful, she went through the entire receipt and checked my partners’ bags, accusing them of theft. All of this because we went 6 dollars over our SNAP allotment for groceries before a storm. I strongly am led to believe she saw my partner and I, who are gay, and took issue with it. Sadly I had gone to the car before we checked out, or I would have intervened myself. You don’t have to understand it, but everyone has to eat. If you all are not tolerant of other people in your stores, including those who are poorer or live a different lifestyle than yours, I will be taking my business elsewhere and encourage others to do the same. It’s a shame because you all carry foods that are friendly for allergies I cannot find elsewhere. Very very disappointed.

I’ve never had a bad experience at ShopRite. Terrible to hear that they closed the stores in Albany. Don’t understand that. I feel that ShopRite is a community based store. Despite higher food prices everywhere, ShopRite ALWAYS comes through with providing low prices on many items. I see the good they do and appreciate it. The Hudson store is clearly managed by a professional. Good job! Really just wanted to thank all those involved with negotiating the savings that are rolled over to us customers.

I often find items which I can't find locally at other stores. Prices are overall higher but I've have fruits especially, last fresh longer. The pandemic and post-pandemic staff shortages have resulted in things like the deli closing early enough that you can't stop on your way home from work and pick up fresh deli items. I use the self checkouts because as often the lines for regular checkouts are too long. But the self checkout is too sensitive and staff has to reverse charges when the register sensor registers an item more than once. The checkout is bossy and are quick to repeat to place item in the bag before you have the chance. All over you hear checkouts ordering shoppers to place item in the bag or to take the item out even though it has scanned correctly. Today there were several checkouts with signs noting they are out of order. Overall I go to Shoprite for the food. Like the sushi and Chinese food areas. Veggies and fruits seem more fresh. I enjoy the fresh fish area where you can have some fish fried for you. Sometimes there are love lobsters too. I frequently buy the store brand foods Bowl and Branch and they are as good as most brand name foods with much better prices. 3/13/2024 Update - They have plenty flat cut brisket of corned beef packages this close to St Patrick's Day.

I was suffering from a cold so I ordered grocery for pick up using the app. When i was on my way there I marked that in the app. Then I marked my arrival. Then I began to wait. and wait. and wait. I called the store they said they lost my groceries then hung up on me. I called back and was placed on an eternal hold. Every time I called they either hung up on me or placed me on hold till the system timed out. 40 minutes later my groceries arrived. They also didn't apply the $10 coupon as advertised. Horrible service. No apology, no attempt to right how i was left in the parking lot for 40 minutes. The store was empty because it was 8 PM on a weeknight. I will never shop here again.

ShopRite usually carries most of what I shop for. The produce is fresh, there is a great deli, wide cheese selection and a seafood department which will prepare meals. The staff is both personable and knowledgeable.

This place is pretty decent, The prices are usually a dollar or two higher than Walmart but sometimes they do have good deals. Honestly they're pharmacy is probably the best part about the entire store

I was traveling from overseas and lost my phone during my shop. The customer service staff was so kind in helping me stay calm. My eternal gratitude goes out to Jaimee on the floor, who didn't hesitate to call my cell (an international number) from her own cell but also helped me search for it in the aisles while being incredibly empathetic and kind. I would not have been able to get back to my accommodation a few towns away or teach my family without her help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the staff who helped me today!

On a little camping trip . My boyfriend wanted clams . It was a Sunday called for some info . The seafood department employee who answered was extremely friendly, patient and helpful. My boyfriend went in the store he's not a big shopper . When he was on the way to car he was smiling. He said the seafood employee was very nice. Customer service lately is a hard thing to find where they are friendly and helpful so the friendliness was a nice thing . I can't say much for the rest of the store because we only dealt with one department but we were both happy .

Love shopping here! There are some of the greatest cashiers on the front end. Love how the store is laid out. New coolers and set up in the frozen section. Decent looking produce, great deli, and a really good bakery!5/21/22 edit: still a great place and prices are decent compared to some other places. With everything increasing like crazy, it's refreshing to see really good store coupons and discounts.

If you have a shoprite card and find good deals/coupons, you can save some good money. Clean store, friendly staff, and good variety of gluten-free products. Vegan items are also becoming more available there, which is great.

This place is amazing. It's huge, and the selection for gluten free is mind blowing. I called earlier today to find a particular brand of bread, and they were so helpful and kind. And they had the bread! I had been searching for this bread for a week and they had loads of it! I cannot say enough good things about this store and it's staff. I won't be shopping anywhere else. This place beats any other grocery store.

The people at Shoprite are very nice and helpful I've been going there for years and am very happy going there. My concern is cleanliness. When it was the old Price chopper it was a very clean store and parking lot, now it is looking like the old store dirty and very unorganized. Also it has a large parking lot and at the bottom there are no carriage holders.

The staff and locally grown produce give me hope that the American supermarket can compete on the local level. Its my favorite place to shop for groceries and the specials are great. Friendly staff who care, remember and are thoughtful. I love to go at any hour, certain that I will find a clean, bountiful, reasonably priced grocer with ample parking for all. If there is ever a problem they gladly resolve it to my satisfaction, no questions.

I really like this store. I have been shopping here for over 40 years. But lately their produce has been awful. Beautiful asparagus all dried up because they are not in water (never are). In The bags of potatoes there are many with soft black spots. And I looked through about 14 bags. And the 2 big bins of cabbage were so wilted they were disgusting. The broccoli has been wilted too. Cucumber are soft, also the peppers. I don't know why, but you used to have decent produce.I hope this is temporary. 🤔

They are very careful with proper distancing, and a new check out policy... you may not start placing any items on conveyor until proceeding customer has completed their purchase and left the area. Seems like a smart idea

Shop rite has stepped up and adapted to the pandemic. I don't give out stars easy, check my reviews but this time they deserved it.. The shopping online experience was easy even for someone who isn't tech savvy. You link your card to the app and shop the flier. Call from the parking lot the next morning and most of my stuff was ready except the substitutes I didn't see they asked for till the last minute. I will be doing this again, thank you shop rite.
