I was expecting a bit more variety and was highly disappointed. Other than the fact that it is conveniently located right near the Metro North Station I see no fan fare about it. The immediate walking area into town which is hilly at best doesn't have much to offer but is charming. I took myself and a friend from out of town for the first time and I was a bit embarrassed. We ate at a local diner because there was nothing else to do till our next train. Never again !

A nice view of the Hudson.Its a nice river town. Nice shops along main street. And the food market outside is fresh upstatefrom farms. Hastings is close to the City a good get away by metro North.People r friendly

For being not-NYC, it's really a great market, so much variety, plenty of stalls, often music, a couple of food trucks and some tables to sit in the shade to enjoy your treats. It's always a treat when the knife sharpener is there to handle some worn down knives and sheers.

This week there were no Covid 19 reservations restrictions and we arrived at about 10:15 waited about 10 minutes on a general line before we were let in. I found the market well stocked and every shopper had a face mask on. Very positive experience.
