We stopped by culture cream for a sweet treat after dinner in the area. It gave me bohemian vibes and it was absolutely beautiful inside. The staff inside were friendly and the ice cream options were so unique! My bf is allergic to eggs so we are always excited when they have vegan options that he can try. We got the vegan chocolate cardamom and it was really good! I was really hoping to try the vegan vanilla maple swirl or the raspberry hibiscus sorbet but they were sold out of both :( they are also a little pricey in my opinion. I’d definitely come back if in the area again to see if I could try one of those flavors.

Great ice cream store with very interesting flavors, including vegan options. Their sorbets are kombucha based. I highly recommend the miso strawberry ice cream

Hubby and I stop by this cute joint for some ice-cream while visiting Hudson. Super nice and friendly staff.I had the Lavender Earl Grey flavor, very fragrant and not too sweet which I like. Hubby had the mango which he said it’s not creamy enough to his liking.

An dessert shop with unique and delicious flavors of ice creams, floats, drinks and sorbets. I appreciated the variety of vegan options. Staff were friendly and happy to answer questions and offer samples. A colorful and comfortable seating area with fresh greenery. I'd be interested in trying their homemade kombucha next time.

I thought I was in Brooklyn as this ice cream store has a very bohemian, hipster vibe to it. We tried several flavors and they were just okay. The ice cream is kefir based so kind of like frozen yogurt but creamier and more yogurty tasting and it also melted very quickly. We tried strawberry kefir, mint chocolate chip and earl grey lavender as the flavors that we were asking for were out, which was disappointing. The early grey lavender had chocolate chips in it which I didn't expect and made it difficult to eat as I don't like chocolate chips in my ice cream (the ice cream description should mention this). All in all for the price, it wasn't really worth it. I hate to post a negative review for a small business but need to be honest. I think if you're looking for traditional ice cream consistency go elsewhere.

First time visit and didn’t know what to expect. Really enjoyed their selection and found the flavors to be unique and delicious. We had both ice creams and sorbets and highly recommend trying this fermented type of ice cream. Compared to traditional ice cream, it’s tangier, lighter, and has more brightness from the acidity.Passion fruit sorbet was extremely flavorful, so if you’re looking for a proper passion fruit powerhouse punch, try this one!We also liked the coffee, peach, and roasted cherry.

Loved the interior, especially all of the plants! Came with my friends and they left with miso ice cream and an espresso. There were tons of unique ice cream flavors, and a unique curation of snacks.

This place is a VIBE!!!! After walking around shopping we stopped in. LOVED every single thing about this place. The colors. The plants. The style. It seriously IS a vibe. They had regular and vegan choices - lots of interesting, not your norm ice cream flavors. I got some espresso which was amazing. Caffeine, sugar treats and a funky vibe - what can go wrong?

Culture Cream is a really interesting spot—alluring exterior and interior, interesting items in the case and on the shelves, and a fun menu. Their "ice cream" is more like frozen kefir and other types of probiotic things—really tasty and healthier tasting than a typical ice cream. I got the strawberry lacto-something and it was really tasty, just a hint tangy with good, strong strawberry flavor.Staff was friendly with trying flavors, which was nice.

Delicious ice cream in such an adorable and hip downtown neighborhood. I had my suspicions when I saw kombucha ice cream because I love my plain Jane no frills ice cream flavors but I’m glad they do samples because I fell in love with their coffee kombucha immediately. candidly did not taste any “kombucha” nature to it (which i’m happy about). I love kombucha, dont get me wrong, i just dont want it in my ice cream :). Not sure how the other flavors taste but I would come back just to try this again!

Not your typical ice cream. All contain either kefer or kombucha (= culture ice cream). If that interests you, it's great. If not or you have youngsters with you, not so much.

For sure a MUST-try!!! This was my first experience tasting kefir ice cream. The beautiful creator of this deliciousness recommended that I try the Sage Honey kefir… it was refreshingly scrumptious. Thank you so much Culture Cream for creating and brining this yumminess into the world!

I love sweets more than the average person so was excited to try but this place didn’t hit for me. Everything had a weird flavor and texture to me. The brown sugar cinnamon brownie ice cream wasn’t good. Only took a bite and couldn’t stomach it. The early grey lavender was funky. The people are and the store has great decor but the product missed. Maybe it was just me.

Be aware! Had a terrible experience. We ordered vanilla in a float but they said they were out and could replace with maple vanilla swirl. They didn’t tell us it was vegan which is made with cashew milk. My daughter went into anaphylactic from her cashew allergy and ended up in the ER. This place uses a lot of unconventional ingredients that they are ambiguous about. Do not eat here if you have any kind of good allergies. They are very caviler about and misleading.

Really tasty. The two staff members behind the counter were very patient with us as we struggled to decide what flavour we wanted to have. Had the raspberry hibiscus with chocolate Kefir, Matcha kefir with roasted sour cherry. We had some driving ahead of us so we got a couple coffees too. They were kind enough to help me out and add a bit of an extra kick with an additional shot of espresso to my Latte.

Went to Culture Cream for the first time on this sunny spring day!! I couldn’t have had a better time enjoying Culture Cream! I decided on the Roasted Cherry Kefir and it was SOOOO DELICIOUS!!! I love that this ice cream is healthy and gut friendly because I’ve been working on my gut health recently and to have this place is a dream! Thanks for being health conscious for us humans!!!! Surprising. I had never had such cultured ice cream, and enjoyed the flavors very much. It felt lighter than most ice creams. They were out of many flavors, which was quite a disappointment. Hip, very Brooklyn-y, and I found room in my filled stomach for dessert there.

Culture Cream is a nice twist on your traditional ice cream shop in that their ice cream is made from kefir and kombucha. They also have cashew ice cream for vegan lovers. I had one of the kefir ice creams and it was very good. You could taste the kefir tartness.

The worker was super nice and helpful but the flavors were all interesting but none of them beat a traditional ice cream. They all are too much and leave a tart sour taste after a while. Surprisingly the best thing was the vegan vanilla maple sugar.
