You really aren't able to get up close to the Buffalo. I understand it is a safety thing, but you can only stand on a overlook and view them from there. The shop is cute, has some really cool food options, with reasonable pricing for their baked goods, meats and condiments. They also have some cute antique things to buy.

We stopped to see the buffalo's and went in the store too. We were surprised to see besides Buffalo meat, they had local jams, jellies, crafts, leather goods and taxidermy wild animals etc.Masks were required in the store due to someone having chemo and we were fine with the stores covid restrictions. We give it 4 stars because the woman running the register seemed slightly short on pleasantries. We bought Buffalo burgers and some jam.

Little hidden gem, the blue ridge Rd is a quiet MTN Rd in the ADKs this place is on it with a great view of the mountains and Buffalo you can purchase bison steaks as well as elk and many awesome homemade goods as well as rustic crafts and furniture

A must stop !! Baked goods are delicious especially their raspberry pie. Lots of jellies & Jams to choose from. And Check out the other rooms.Fun place to visit with the kids.

Drove over an hour to visit this location after reading through their website. Although this policy was not listed anywhere online; they do not allow individuals to enter without masks & had no masks to provide to us to enter. We had planned on spending over $100 at their store, but were turned away with no apologies or offer for curbside assistance instead. This was probably the most poor customer service experience I have ever had. Highly suggest listing this policy in bold on your website as to not cause this disappointment for others. We would’ve happily complied with the mask requirement had we known.

Great quality bison and elk products at reasonable prices. If you are in the Adirondacks and enjoy eating lean meats raised right in your backyard, I would suggest stopping by the store and buying a few things.

It's a BEAUTIFUL spot, and seeing Bison/Buffalo fairly close up from their observation deck is awesome to say the least. We loved being able to show the kids.The store has an awesome selection of frozen meat from Bison and Elk, along with a huge selection of canned goods, and fresh produce from their own farm. All at excellent prices. Due to the pandemic they were only allowing one group of adults in at one time, and NO CHILDREN were allowed in the store, which was unfortunate. Luckily we had two adults with us so the kids could stay in the car.Overall, a cool place in a BEAUTIFUL setting. Go check it out.

Great shop to stop by for local products. Salsas, sauces, BBQ, pickles, jelly, baked goods fresh produce, gift wares, locally made crafts, wood works and bison meat and jerky are all available. Prices are really reasonable. Our gingerbread cookies, in the shape of bison, were only 75 cents each. There are gorgeous views of the mountains (with especially beautiful fall foliage views) and a little platform to view the buffalo below!

Always nice to stop on our way to Long lake. Lots of gifts, vintage stuff and delicious cookies. The buffalo meat and elk meat is a treat. It's frozen for easy traveling.And the buffalo are out back. Young ones there too this time. Soooo cute.

We arrived at this establishment which we found out that they are closed on Tuesdays. The owner came from across the street and opened for us! We made our purchase (bison medallions!) and a few other items. Fantastic pies (homemade- delish!). A definite must visit!, Be sure to wear a 😷!... Enjoy

Me and my boyfriend found this lovely little gem on our vacation to schroon lake this week. The bison burgers were absolutely delicious. We loved it so much we went back the next day for more! The owner was a lovely lady who was very personable. Highly recommend you go there! Knick knacks, sweets, baked goods, candles and many other things.

Bison from here has amazing full flavor. You can see them grazing out back and you know they are well cared for until they are sent to slaughter. Fair prices and the owner is very friendly. Great place to visit and check out or just to stop in and buy some amazing bison, lots of different cuts available.

The Adirondack Buffalo Company is so much more than just Buffalo! There are antique and gifts, plus an assortment of jams, sauces, and snacks. I can't wait to come back and get the Buffalo rib eye!!

We always stop on the way home to check out the calves and buy some short ribs. Trust me I see the irony. Google "Obama's Short Ribs" for a great recipe. Nice produce also.

Interesting place worth a stop. The buffalo are kept more or less as pets. The shop sells an interesting selection of fresh and non-fresh foods ( no buffalo meat from the herd) as well as clothing and souvenirs.

Adirondack Buffalo Co. is a terrific place. Beautiful Buffalo to watch and superior products. Buffalo meat -superior quality. Baked goods, produce, BBQ sauce, cheese. Want it - they probably have something you are looking for.

It was a good experience the views from the road are great we were able to watch the buffaloes from the road there is a small store there to buy sovineers we didnt but anything there I would say it is a cool place to stop if you are in the area overall I would say it was a cool experience.
