I ordered two hotdogs, chips and a soda. The staff was friendly and food was good. I wouldn't hesitate to stop in again. Also, haven't tried any yet, but they have local produce, eggs and other items available. Also will bring kids for ice cream, great assortment of flavors, not to mention adult variations.

This place used to sell white meat chicken tenders. Fresh out of the fryer, they were so delicious that I told everyone how good they were. Now they have these. Fake chicken nugget meat fingers. Still decent when freshly fried, but half the portion they used to serve. No way are 10 of these tiny things worth $3.25. Their ice cream is worth it but I will not be coming back here for food.

Always a must stop with the family. Great choices at a fair price. The netted and covered entrance way is extremely helpful for older and younger people 😉. We will be back many times this summer.

Very nice facility! Clean, with ample seating- you can sit in the shade or out in the sun. Parking wasn't an issue, either.Service is very well organized, and quick. It only took about 5 minutes from the time we placed our order until we were sitting down and eating.Food wasn't bad at all- excellent portions for the money, in fact, I believe that there was more food than I actually needed.Bonus- after eating, there is an ice cream joint right next door!!!

My wife and really like this place. Have taken our grandkids there twice and they love the ice cream. My wife loved the egg salad sandwich she had on one trip and she and I both loved the cheeseburgers we had on another visit. Staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. My wife also purchased some items from the vegetable wagon. Highly recommend this place.

I haven't been to the Dairy Barn in a very long time (about 10 years) so I decided to stop when in town visiting family. I was very excited to try the Texas Hots which are a very competitive food in the region. They were more on the spicy side which some might find refreshing compared to some hotdogs in the area that make you wonder where the spice went. Although not typical of this area, they were very good and reminded me of why they are called Texas "hots." The food was perfectly portioned and they were not skimpy on the cheese for the fries which is rare these days. My husband enjoyed his cheeseburger and we both enjoyed the fries which had a nice crispy texture. We were thrilled to find White Lightening ice cream which is a very rare flavor of Perry's! If you get a chance, definitely stop in and try out The Dairy Barn.

We always stop here threw out the summer on our way home over the hill!!! The selection. Of ice cream is great! The staff is friendly. The barn it self is beautiful!!!!!!!!!! Parking is a decent size lot. Can either stay in the cool of inside or enjoy the out doors at a table. Even have a peoduce stand as well!!

Awesome selection of Perry's ice cream and frozen yogurt. Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere inside and out. Easy to see from your vehicle. Decent value as well - $4 for a regular which is guess is about 1.5 cups.

Big servings, reasonable prices! I'm addition to the usual Perry's selection, they have lots of sundae options, as well as some local boozy "adult" flavors. Or if you're indecisive like me, they have a sampler of 4 smaller scoops - perfect!

Always a nice little place to visit during the summer. Great little atmosphere. Though it can be a little out of the ways, it's worth it. Love the fact that it's located in an old stereotypical barn house. They've got a large selection of ice cream flavors to choose from (Perry's I believe).

Ice cream places in the area are all pretty fun, but this may be the most fun to visit. The kitsch is a nice touch, the homemade accoutrements bring something new to the table, and I didn't feel like I was being rushed along by the staff :)

Absolutely loved it!!! The girls were fantastic!! They even catered to my daughters needs! It is her 5th birthday today and she wanted two cherries, one on top and one on the side! They did amazing! And also! They have a book exchange, so next time we visit we will take a book with us! Today we took a book! Thank you so much! You made an already amazing day even better!!! Thank you so much!!

They make great tuna wraps....and they have an amazing ice cream selection. But the best part of the Dairy Barn is Susie, the owner. She always makes you feel welcome.

It the best place to get ice cream, and the owner is very nice and kind to the customers. I recommend that anyone that wants great ice cream comes to the Dairy Barn. Just also a reminder that they are closed during the winter months.
