every time I go to this Walmart, I regret it. I grabbed the things I needed. took me maybe 5-10 minutes to get what I needed on my list. I had to be checked out cuz I used my WIC card. there was one lane open. I stood in line for 20 minutes. then I get to the front and the cashier goes on lunch and an old guy switches with her. he scans my stuff, then gets to a new Subway dressing I wanted and it won't scan. so he calls someone over, which took even longer. she cancelled the whole thing and he tells her it won't scan one item. she says oh it must not be in the system and just takes it. like there is a whole dam display of this product and no one can purchase it ????? she didn't even say sorry or do a price check. just took it. then the guy rescanned my stuff and set it next to my bag so I had to load everything. I'm just gonna go to Wegmans from now on.

Has all the products I need but customer service is good when you find it but it’s hard to find someone around to help. Their prices are amazing! They have almost anything you need and their website is an easy 5 stars do even do curbside pickup but going into the store it’s nearly impossible to find someone to help find a product. Also, there are never workers at the regular checkout and I am not a fan of self checkouts especially when I get smashed by someone’s cart when I go to the checkouts. So, yes I recommend this store as long as you order online and do curbside pickup or delivery. Here are all the products I have gotten curbside. I spray painted the fan I got the fan and spray paint both from Walmart. My socks I got wall paint curtains and stickers, stuffed animal, speaker, etc

I ordered my son an expensive 20 inch mongoose bike which cost 181.00 dollars and when i went to pick it up they brought 1 out in a box that had to be put together. Mind you I was there the day before and they had 4 of the same bike on the floor put together. When I told the guy I didn't want the 1 in the box he lied and said they only had the bike in the box so I went inside and sure enough there was 4 still on the floor put together. Very rude people and I don't like liars. If you do order online and Pick something up and they tell you that's all they got go in the store and check. I will never shop there again. Not to mention I had an oil change done and when I came out to get my jeep they didn't put any oil in it and they don't balance tires. Terrible place. Go elsewhere.

We stopped in to utilize the bathrooms. The bathrooms were nice and clean but the entrances were a bit confusing. Didn't know which way was in or out and we ended up going in through the wrong doors. It's a bit crowded in the hallways through the entrance with the service desk right there and the bathrooms it makes for a hectic entrance and exit.

I like Walmart. Use self ck out.but two times already it has posted in something I did not purchase so watch your item and cost of ea item. They say it was a glitch. But I think it's a sneaky way to steal from a customer mine was 50 dollars first time I wasn't watching my purchases only has 4 items so ckeckex my receipt went to service desk and person went through my cart saw I haven't made that purchase and credited my card back that was annoying had I left the store before I discovered it they likely would not refunded money then this past Friday same thing charged me 24 dollars and I did not have an item for that i called the service guy over and he checked saw i had no matching item said oh a glitch. I said no second time in two weeks that is sneaky stealing. I like Walmart I like self checkout but watch every item on your purchase list cause once you leave the store they got you..

Parking lot needs more cart returns, app says things are in stock when they are not, the way the unit pricing on the stickers is done is absurd, not uniform, and at times seems intentionally misleading when comparing productsEdit: still finding examples of complete lack of consistency on unit pricing. And purposely hiding it when smaller items are in fact cheaper by unit. Look at my picture, the smallest Snickers pack is actually the cheapest by unit, when normally it would be cheaper in bigger volumes, but they've hidden this fact by changing the unit pricing labeling

This is not a review of the Walmart itself. this is a warning NOT to purchase a phone through any of the OSL kiosks in Any Walmart electronics departments. Their customer service is downright atrocious and rude.. a mistake was made on their part and it has taken me countless hours and cost me a ton of money to fix. They actually told me in store they would not help me resolve the issue even tho the mistake was theirs. Real nice for someone who needs to reach a sales goal. This company should be ashamed for behaving this way.

The employee didn't want to with with me. Was getting off of work in a half hour and I was holding him up. They wouldn't take my new insurance because it started that day. Had to pay out of pocket for my glasses. I was in convincing them.

Awful customer service!! I can't believe how I was treated there a few days, I kept going back and forth if I should leave a review or not but people need to know the type of workers that work at Hornell Walmart. I went there a few days ago to return a Christmas gift that I got and the young girl at the service desk was just awful!!! Her name tag read Sabrina? That's not the point I was looking in my bag and she screamed at me. "You need to hurry! I'm about to go on break soon and I can't be waiting for you to find a receipt ma'am" I was baffled by how rude she was? I understand she needed to go on break but I don't think I deserved to be treated the way I was. It was awful, I ended up not being able to find it and she just screamed at me and told me she wouldn't help me. The Hornell Walmart needs to do a better job on who they hire because this is ridiculous.

Always bare shelves. Went on walmart app and selected instore to see if they had 3 different kinds of products I was looking for. Online said it had it in stock, when I got their all items were sold out.

Staff was helpful, parking lot and bathrooms are clean, however this is a very small store. They don’t have a “Deli” no sandwich’s.

Floor associates never seen to know where anything is and as far as their checkouts I would much prefer a human being than to do self-checkout if I'm going to do self checkout they should give me a 5% discount for doing somebody else's job.

Horrible experience every time I went there and you self checkout it was always freezing or glitching and then the very last time I was there I was accused of shoplifting even though I had the receipt and they said that are still shopping with me .two Burley man following me out of the store saying they're calling the cops on me and I said go ahead I had no reason to hide from the cops and then they started swearing at me and being downright disrespectful but not once they try to call the cops and I've already emailed corporate and they have yet to respond back as always Walmart is a failure and I am never stopping at Walmart again until they retrain their staff and they actually have cashiers

The management here sucks. Me and my friends came in to look for items and were harassed and cussed at by one of the managers named Christie. Normally the store itself is alright but our last experience was not the best. This Walmart should look into who they’re hiring in the future

It's a regular Walmart, not a Super so do not go expecting to do a lot of grocery shopping as it is limited to mostly dry goods, a few vegetables and some dairy products

This store started setting up display rooms like you see at idea! I love it! The staff are really friendly. The stores got a lot of surplus. Definitely recommend

This walmart in particular usually has alot of empty shelves because it serves a 30 mile plus radius and is located in a plaza owned by wegmans, whom has set things in place where this walmart cant sell certain things because wegmans sells them. Great customer service just sucks that it has stayed a regular walmart when we need a superstore.

This place generally usually has almost everything I'm looking for...once awhile though, especially right when I need it or right when I'm looking for it, they're out of it! 🙄 which is quite annoying lately! Some selections are getting too pricey though!! I will honestly say that! So I go to wegmans instead due to cheaper prices! 😊 other then that, pretty good store! 👍
