Terrible pharmacy. My kids need a specific medication that I'm aware is in limited supply but the person that answered the phone refused to look in the computer to see if they had it and just kept replying I was told last week we didn't have it. The problem is you can't just send prescriptions over and over it takes to long to get the Dr. to write a new script. Just do your job and look your being paid for your time on the phone with me. CVS needs to do better!

The pharmacist technician refused to tell me if they had a certain medication in stock. After a very long stutter, he said my Dr had to call and that he didn't have to reveal that information to me, which is complete B.S. People just don't want to do their job anymore. If you're too lazy to check what's in stock, you shouldn't be working as a pharmacist technician. Every other pharmacy I've called checked their inventory but not CVS.

This CVS is great. I've been getting my prescriptions here since I was born almost 21 years ago and while they have made mistakes here and there they're always quick to fix it. And my experience last night was the best help I've ever gotten at a store before. I was purchasing Tylenol dissolve packs to help pain in my toe and only had $10 so I tried to see if they had the 12 pack available for $8.49. Unfortunately, they were out of stock of the 12 pack but had the 32 pack in stock for $14.99. I knew I didn't have enough so I tried to get coupons to lower the price. However, that was still no good as it only took $3 off and I still had $11.99 to pay. My dad comes into the store and I explain that I'm about $2 short to which he says he has no extra money to give me. (Which made me upset because I know darn well he did. -_-) But nonetheless Edward who I believe is the manager stepped in and payed the $2 himself. Thank God for people like him in this world. If it wasn't for him I would've been in pain all night. Now, I know there's likely gonna be people asking "Why didn't I buy the capsules or tablets or an nsaid like Advil?" 1. I'm not able to swallow pills. I haven't been able to since I was younger. It's a gag reflex. 2. Slightly different ingredients. I have lots of allergies and I know it's the same active ingredient but inactive ingredients matter too and I just feel safer with the dissolve packs as that's what I've been taking for awhile now. And 3. I'm allergic to ibuprofen like Advil. :/ Anyways, Edward if you're reading this Thank You. You've officially given me the best Customer Service I've ever had. ♥️ I seriously appreciate the patience you had and your help. Like I mentioned before if it wasn't for you I would've been in pain during the night until we were able to come back in the morning. You're awesome and I hope you see this. Well this is not my normal CVS....I have two homes first in Manhattan and second one in Hopewell Jct...so I didn't have to drive to the city I had the prescription transferred to Hopewell Jct. For the most part it went normal.....most of mt prescriptions were ready.....it's the 15th and I'm hoping that it will be filled today. May have to change review.....went from 5 star to 2 .....and there no better then any other CVS same BS as in nyc..............

My review is overdue. I was in last Saturday after being turned away by my own CVS in Pleasant Valley numerous times for the same prescription medication I have been on for 2 years. They continually failed to maintain an adequate supply so that every month when refill time came I had to wait 3-5 days for my medication to be oredered. This past Saturday, CVS in Hopewell offered to fill it quickly. I took them up on their offer. They were polite, friendly, caring and the store was clean and well maintained.

I enjoy shopping at CVS in Hopewell, the store is very clean and, items are displayed so you can find immediately what you are looking for, staff is very pleasant and helpful when asked for assistance.

They have a large number of people behind the counter and a computer phone system that repeatedly announces "X number of callers for pharmacy" but I've stood in line and listened to that number climb up with, visibly, no-one already answering a call or making a move to answer the phone. I've, also, had multiple occasions of being on the other end of the phone waiting on hold for close to 15 minutes with no indication of how long it's going to take other than an uninformative recording telling me they will "assist me momentarily". Maybe I've just been lucky, but I've never had a pharmacy just leave me hanging on the phone like that. Additionally, as other have stated, they tend to have long lines. I'm assuming this is a management policy and/or training problem.

In one word... FANTASTIC!!! The pharmacy department is always professional and extremely helpful. Donnie is usually here and always great. Today, Bethany, provided her knowledge and professionalism in helping me save money and receiving the proper medication... I am, truly, grateful. I would also like to mention that Tori very helpful as well. She caught the issue and directed me to Bethany. They are both true assets to facility. If your looking for a pharmacy,1 CVS in Hopewell won't let you down.

I switched from the CVS in Poughkeepsie to this one in Hopewell because it's closer to where I live now. This isn't my first time in the store, but my first time picking up prescriptions from them. First of all, the line was very long and only one person was helping at the registers there. They finally got another person to help once I got closer to the front of the line. The staff member I dealt with was very nice (Which is why it didn't just get one star. I don't remember his name..) but they couldn't find one of my prescriptions. It's not like I was there to pick up ten, I was there to pick up two and one of them 'went missing'. The employee was nice, but didn't present me with any options as to where to go from here. I need my meds and I felt like he was nice, but flippant about it like "Sorry, I can't find it. Have a nice day." Before that though, he asked one of the ladies in a white coat where it could be, she looked at a couple of prescriptions in front of her and just shrugged. No help at all. So, I actually called the pharmacy when I got home and spoke to someone, asking them what to do now. She told me she would look one more time and refill it if she couldn't find it. (While I was there, the employee came back to me about five times to tell me he still couldn't find it and was going to look in another place..) That's all I needed to hear. It was filled the next day and I am having it delivered because I'd rather not go back, stand in that line, only to be told they can't find it again.Overall, the staff wasn't too bad. But I feel like it's very disorganized. These meds are important for people and I feel like some of the employees don't take this job very seriously.

They may be busy but that didnt stop Sarah and Donnie at the pharmacy from being a tremendous help to me. They worked with me on getting medication for my dog and even took the time to show me where something was located in the store, outside of the pharmacy area. Very pleasant experience. Job well done and if they see this, thanks again guys!

A good CVS, but the Pharmacy area is way overcrowded with a lot of extra setups that make it very tight. I don't like the self check out either.

Place is a rip off. I just bought block of deodorant but the wrong type so I returned it within a couple of hours unopened to exchange for the right type but never took a receipt. They will only give you a store credit for the lowest sale price item even tho I paid on debit card and price is right on the shelf. I was told they will not look up purchase on debit card. Kinda dumb business to lose a loyal customer like this. I’ll never go back for anything

Call to ask if my script was ready after my doctor sent it about 45 mins prior, man on the phone was very rude saying it probably wasn’t ready even though it says online that it would be ready. Said the best he could do was I come in and see what they could do but no guarantee my script would be ready. Even though that was the whole point of me calling in the first place. Joke of a pharmacy with rude customer service.

I typically don't leave reviews, however I always read them. I had to take a minute to acknowledge one of the store he store managers at this location, Carol! She went out of her way to help me this past weekend... it was just her pleasant, friendly and willing to help with no hesitation that made me want to give her 5 stars! It's not everyday that you get great service... Thank you Carol!

Went in TODAY and got the most disgusting stares from the so called "manager" of the store. You would think with all the minorities, me being one, working there and going in out of the store she would be comfortable with everyone, but she was horrible from the moment I walked in. Harassing and physically bothered by the fact me and my brother were in the store. I will follow up with corporate. All this for a drink. Worse establishment in the area, right next to petsmart.Edit:Save yourself the hassle and go to walgreens

I was shocked when I visited CVS in Hopewell Junction, NY to have a Shingrix vaccine administered. There was no privacy - just out in the middle of people waiting in the pharmacy line. The area was very dirty with garbage all over the floor. The pharmacist who administered the shot was very nice (thus the 2 star rating) and apologized for the conditions. She told me that in other CVS locations she has worked in, there is a dedicated, private vaccination room. Let’s get this fixed in Hopewell Junction store, CVS!! There is no excuse for this!

Hands down the worst pharmacy in the area!! Told me to call before I came to make sure the Rx was in. I called when i left Fishkill, still on home when I reached the store in hopewell. Walked up to the pharmacy with my phone still on hold 23 minutes. They never picked up the phone. While I was waiting for them to check for my Rx, their phone answering announcement kept going off that there was one call waiting. Nobody picked up the call!!! I hate this place.

Worst CVS Pharmacy I’ve ever been too. Was on hold on the phone for 43 minutes waiting for someone to answer. Walked in there while I was still on hold and the pharmacist were just joking with each other. I asked them why no one was answering and they had no answer. Didn’t even apologize. I would never come to this CVS again.

Ive gone here for years, overall they're very good. Recently, ive been having issues with picking up medication (for both my husband and myself) to where half of my prescriptions aren't available because they dont have it in their system, even though they were sent.

Does anyone pick up the phone there? Not even a “…hold on please “ yet. Still the advertisement. 45 minutes and counting. Doctor called in a script two days ago and the automated thing says “prescription in process”. From two days ago? Now I’m still waiting for someone to pick up the phone.

Don't like being hung up on when I need a persription filled. Had to get a refill of meds I take daily because I had trouble transferring the scripts while on the road .Pharmacy hung up on me.😡
