I called 3 times did NOT see a call back even though receptionist said she called back twice..? Today is Monday still no call back, I called 3 times twice during business hours with no answer. I got a recording, left a message and never saw a call back..!? So I drove down there to talk to the receptionist. She said we can no longer see your car because it had been 3-4 years that I had my last appointment. So my cat was considered a new patient. Then she said we're not taking new patients! I was livid and walked out.. It's all about the money I guess. I believe they could really give a damn about my cats health. I'll move on from this LOW class outfit!

I want to thank the staff at Hoosick vet clinic. My Dog Boo Bear is a 4 year old pitbull and she felt so comfortable at her first appointment with Dr landmesser for her ear infections. She acted like the good girl she is, and started her medication with no issues.thank you againJason Adams

The staff remembers our dog's particular fears and makes him comfortable. He was a rescue dog and always panicked at our previous vet's office, but not here! A MUCH better experience than I have EVER had in a veterinarian's office.

On Sept 8th our 7yr old cat became gravely ill. My husband ran to nearest Vet which happened to be Hoosick Veterinary Clinic and he was turned away at door because he didn't have an appt!!!! Our cat was obviously dying and they wouldn't even let him in the door because he didn't have an appt!!!!! Disgusting!!!! Our cat was put down an hour later by West Mountain Animal Hospital because he had cancer unbeknownst to us. Thank God for West Mt!! Whoever turned my husband away that day should be ashamed of themselves!!! If I could give zero stars I would!

No longer taking new patients. We were patients had our dogs neutered there. Sadly he passed. Went to make new puppy appointments. We are no longer patients because we have not been there in a couple years. Sorry our dog died. You too can be dismissed go to West Mountain Veterinarian clinic. They will welcome you. They have better services anyway.

Called as an out-of-towner with a (luckily) easy to solve dog injury—the vet fit me in same day and was so kind and compassionate toward me and my pup! Super grateful for them and know this was a special circumstance but would go back if I was in the area! Thanks again, Hoosick Vet Clinic 💕

I'm 61 years old, have had pets and worried with animals my whole life. This is one of the best veterinary clinics I have ever been to.These people really care and take time with you.They can't help long wait time for appointments and if there's an emergency that comes in or whatever.Negative reviews of this clinic are just definitely a one-off or some misunderstanding.I've been to the two big Veterinary practices in Bennington (West mountain is great as well Mount Anthony is terrible) - Hoosick is amazing.Been going here 3 years and absolutely love it.

It was a very good visit for a puppy's first ever visit to a vet at the age of 8 months. She had an ear infection and needed shots and is timid and a bit fearful of strangers so it could have been a disaster for her but they were extremely careful with her and I'm sure the pup will be more than happy to see them again! Up to now, the pup had spent most of her days in a crate while her previous owners worked so she wasn't socialized with people or other animals. So we are very happy with the Hoosick Vet Clinic!

Very disappointing. Dr. Delaney is a very good vet. However, over the last couple of years, his staff has declined and his prices have sky rocketed. I have used Hoosick Vet for several years and thought I was a good customer, but lately, it has become apparent that their values and customer service have changed. I have 3 dogs and have given them great feedback and reviews in the past and it is very sad that their service has decreased to an unacceptable level. I am now going to a new vet.

I spent days looking for an appointment in Southern Vermont for our three eleven-week-old kitties. I couldn't find anything sooner than weeks away when I called Hoosick Veterinary Clinic who could see them in days. My dumb mistake, but we showed up three hours early for our appointment. Instead of making us drive the half hour back, they saw us right away. Quick and thorough, they handled the little guys with care and efficiency. While I didn't have the luxury of shopping around for prices, I was very pleased with the bill. Paid it gladly. And they have clients for as long as we have kitties.

Update: Due to the fact that I stood at the counter for a good 30 minutes while staff & vets walked past me without even a word of acknowledging me... when I was there for a scheduled apt, a cpl years ago, I left this practice and returned to my longtime vet.Original review:Recommended by a friend, when we were in crisis with our 13 year old lab. We couldn't find anyone else to see her, after hours on a holiday (Labor Day 2018). They said yes, bring her in right away. We drove the 30 minutes and were greeted with 2 wonderful ladies and a stretcher! They treated us and our lab with such compassion & care. Bazil was gone within the hour, but Hoosick Veterinary Clinic made this horribly tragic time a very memorable, loving and compassionate time that we will never forget. They will get the rest of our business for our 3 dogs & 1 cat for as long as we have them. (leaving a practice that I had taken our pets to for 30 years, but just don't provide the after hours care that we need). I would recommend anyone to Hoosick Vaterinary Clinic!

The staff is amazing & have given me more hope for my little princess then any other vet & aside from what all the other vets said....she’s improving!!! She is still completely blind in 1 eye but the vision in her other eye has gotten stronger she is no longer in pain because they took the time to really look at her. This is the best vet I’ve ever been to, I can not say enough!!!

My mom's 13yr old pug wasn't feeling well - 2hrs before they close on a Saturday- they got me in & were still taking emergencies/finishing patients after closing time & beyond. It's wonderful when your vet loves your animals like you do! Highly recommend!!

Taking my cat in for a check up regarding a problem he was having. I was told "well, that's a cat" I could have saved myself $75 because I was pretty sure he was a cat before I brought him in! Went back to our former Vet practice and his problem was remedied and he's doing great. Took all my guys back to their old Vet....it's further to travel but well worth it.

Always helpful. Reasonable with prices compared to other places in the area. Folks that work there are kind. Helpful and friendly. I've been taking both of my Dogs the for a few years now. They have had a few emergency visits in this time as well. As scary as situations like this can be, they do everything they can to help whatever the situation may be as quickly as possible. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good vet. For sure!

Great staff and doctors with very much appreciated emergency call coverage on weekends (last I knew). Also, from my small amount of comparison with my cat's main vet, also a bit more affordable which is always appreciated.
