Tonight me and my family quickly stopped at this store to get a few items to make cookies. We were informed very briskly at the door that we only had 3 minutes remaining to shop. This is understandable and expected at closing time, but what followed was unacceptable customer service. We were literally RUNNING around the store as they bombarded us with 3 to 4 more excessive warnings in the span of literally 2 minutes. As we were approaching the register, the female staff barked at us to get to the register NOW. We were then hurried out the door at the exact time of 8:01. The male closing staff was admittedly helpful at the end and offered to take care of our cart for us. However, overall this is the worst customer service i’ve experienced at a Dollar General so far. Would not recommend, 1/10. Save yourself the annoyance and spend a little extra gas money to be treated politely at the Hemlock Dollar General.

I've worked in customer service my entire life and have never treated a customer the way that the closing staff treated my family tonight. They were rude and unprofessional maybe this makes me mad because I am aware of customer service standards and if someone comes in before close to purchase literally two items and leave you let them do that without screaming at them how many minutes you have left. I've been a waitress I've worked in fast food I've done retail and if someone comes in, you let them. Without screaming at them and then chasing them out of the store, when she was told she was getting reported she told us that she already gets reported all the time, and to go ahead and try lmao I get it that people have bad days but that is not how you handle yourself when you are at work. She literally stood outside screaming at us as we left. Longer dark hair and glasses. Didn't get her name because we were just trying to get our stuff and leave we didn't look around we were out the door by 8 which is when they close and they also screamed at the person coming in as we were leaving that they only had one minute. This makes me so upset that not only did this woman do this to my step dad and I but also my mother.

The employee's don't enforce the mask mandate at all. Whatever, I'll just brush it off, mind my own business and worry about my own health. On the bright side I'm looking forward to shopping at this location this summer without a shirt or shoes on.

Great experience, amazing service. If you are looking for something in particular and cannot find it, there is almost always something equally as interesting to make up for it! They also have Lego sets ranging from $5-$15!

This store never has anything on the shelves, but they have carts full of stuff they have gotten off of the truck just in the aisle in the way. Probably the worst dollar general around here.

In many cases it's easy and predictable what I will find here and the staff usually greets you when you enter. The only problem is that people don't wait at a distance and not wearing masks.

It serves its purpose in this Society it nothing but quick fast get what you pay for but people forget like the saying goes every time I need my dollar my Chevrolet give me my dollar that's what people should expect stop buying everything that is made in China and it's not that the Chinese don't make good stuff it's what big businesses by to sell to us and increase their profit Nothing is for nothing and never goes out of style it is what it is and that's the name of that tune

Dollar General in honeoye is really dirty outside thousands of cigerette butts out front on the ground and inside the store it looks like the employes never mop the store floor or even clean the bathroom.

All the ladies that work there are nice and if you plan ahead to use your $5 coupons on Saturday you can really save a lot of money on house needs ... least that how I do it

This store is grungy and I left feeling like I needed a shower. Dodging obstacles throughout the store and potholes the size of craters, in the parking lot.
