Disappointing. “Homemade” banana cream pie was terrible. Whole store itself is uninviting. Was looking for good cheeses, tiny selection. Yes it was a Saturday, but they had no fresh cooked food. Won’t be back.

Was told about this place through some coworkers and I was impressed upon going to see it for myself. Fresh grown fruits and veggies. Lovely options for cheese. Amazing looking bakery goods. Meats that are fresh and reasonably priced. Will be shopping through here from now on.Workers are very friendly and whole place is tidy and nice and easy to access and find

I can get fresher produce for a cheaper price than the chain grocery store. Love that they offer bulk produce in season, and they have a scratch and dent basket by the bananas.Edit 7/17/23: had to add- they now have duck eggs! Sooo good!

Lots of great produce, bake goods and cheese to select from. I've always enjoyed my experience at Anderson's although I admit today the woman in charge wasn't very friendly by any means. No smile, all business and almost rude...a real putoff. But I will try again and I hope you do too.Good luck!

BEST MOLASSES COOKIES EVER ...I cannot wait for them to reopen for the season. Very friendly, huge variety of fresh fruits and veggies, spices, etc...we actually drive out there just for the homemade molasses cookies that I am obsessed with. I buy up every package they have at each visit!!

Andersons has THE BEST range of sharp cheddar cheese I have ever seen in my life. I get the 7x sharp but I think they go up to 13x. Incredible cheese and you can of course also get produce, bread, spices, baked goods

I love Anderson's. They have fantastic fresh, local produce, cheese, eggs, meat, and poultry, all at reasonable prices. Their NY state aged cheddar is delicious--and half the price of less good artisan cheddar at Wegman's. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The store is doing sensible things to keep people safe during the pandemic, such as wiping down shopping baskets with disinfectant between customers. Both staff and customers wear masks and maintain physical distance. The doors are always open allowing for good airflow. In combination with the very low Covid infection rate in Cortland country, it is a very safe place to shop.

I love going to this place. The cheese is the big draw for me but their produce and meats are good too. The hot foods during the colder months is not something to be missed out on either.

Everyone is super polite and helpful, if you like the freshest in season, farm to table food, or the many assortments of baked goodies, amazing cheeses, and jams, jelly's, honey, pickled string beans beets and cukes This is the place... Did I mention the cheeses?? Worth the trip alone!! ..P.s. I stop almost daily as of late, stopped today and my great, grandfather Spiegel Willcox THE Spiegel Willcox well he spent many years in Cincy.. and they have one of his old trombones there on the wall and was playing one of his old CDs..it Was an absolutely wonderful experience like usual. Love and bless y'all

I was not rude I simply asked a question of your employee that was waiting on me face to face about why she wasn't wearing a mask. I'm not sure who you are or if you were there and witnessed the interaction between your employee and I. But I believe she was very snippy and rude with me. And your response to anybody that is unhappy with your service seems to be that it's all the customers fault, and that we should be kinder Yes we all should be kinder and that includes everybody.Employees not wearing masks. Inside rest room unavailable to customers. When I asked why no masks? the reply was " I believe in freedom of choice." I won't be shopping here again. Freedom of choice. Sad that your employees don't care about protecting your customers or themselves.

Great little Farmers Market. Great fresh fruit and vegetables. Homemade baked goods including cookies and pies are amazing. a wide selection of cheeses makes the 50 minute trip worth it for us.

Love going to Anderson's for the best sharp cheese around, biggest bell peppers and great apples. My Dad lived going there when he was alive and we carry on the tradition.

I have always had a great experience at Anderson's Market. I was a bit taken aback today, though, when I asked the cashier to punch my ticket (for a free package of cookies) because I was told there is a $5 minimum purchase. I spent just under $4 today, but I was in just a few days ago and spent over $20. The cashier did do it, but they might want to include that information on the ticket or post a sign somewhere stating this. It might be awhile before I return!
