We brought our dog there for a second opinion because we didn't feel comfortable making the decision with our old vet. I have to say, we got a very heart-felt welcome from the staff and the doctor. She actually explained everything to us and where our dog was at health wise. Everyone was so compassionate. We made the decision of comfort for our dog, and they were so gentle and took care of everything that came afterward. We were not rushed after the procedure. We had time to say our goodbyes. I highly recommend

My baby George had a tumor and five teeth removed and a small cyst on his leg. They were very caring and professional. They kept me informed about his procedure and his recovery and answered all my questions and concerns.

Our dog was bloated and constipated. She was laying on her side and couldn`t move. We called the office at 8:00am as soon as they opened. They told me that they didn`t have time and to call urgent care. We called urgent care and they told us it would be 4-6 hour wait. We loaded our dog in the car and drove over to Wileys. I went in and asked if they please had just a few minutes to look at her. She said "we don`t have the time". I walked out and drove to East Avenue Vet clinic in Brockport, and they said they didn`t have time and we were not a customer. Our dog died in the car in the parking lot. She was still alive at Wileys Ark but they had no time. Our dog Shiloh has been going there since she was 2 years old. We took her to all of her well visits etc. but when it came time to actually help Shiloh, they had no time. Do not put yourself through what we went through. If you aren`t a customer there, please don`t go. If you are, keep in mind that in an emergency, Dr. Wiley "wont have time"..It`s a shame that our 8 year old dog could still be alive if "Doctor" Wiley just had the time.

I have had nothing but good things to say about this office. This is the only office I have ever been to that will get an animal in the same day or soon after if it is at all possible. I have a difficult cat, who is a legend in that office. Dr. Wiley found a way to keep her calm during her visits and are always very good to her. I have a niece who recently found two stray kittens who needed medical attention. When she called, they got her in that morning.

I've been bringing my 8+ pets here of various species for the last couple years. I've enjoyed my visits, I find Dr Wiley to be a very thorough and caring doctor, who will give you multiple options of treatment depending on your pets illness. Her staff is very competent, engaging and helpful. They offer a quaint, warm environment where you feel like your the only patient while your there. The Dr and staff will make sure all your needs are addressed before you leave. They will then follow up with you for several days after your visit to make sure things are going well. I would challenge anyone with to find a better doctor and more caring office to look out for the best interest of your pets.

Wiley's Ark serves its community in a very unique way. We have gone to them previously with our small pets, but not with our dog, having established him with another local vet. But when we knew it was time to let go, his vet did not do house calls and we wanted him comfortable at home in his final moments. It took a phone call, a transfer of his records from his vet to Wiley's office and we had an appointment the very next day.I was able to hold our boy and be at his side through the entire 20 minute procedure as he left us. It was a peaceful way for him to go instead of scared in a vets office. For us, every penny counts. Wiley's based our final cost on our dog's weight and length of travel, rather than a flat rate like other local agencies. It was far more affordable than we imagined. Only $80 more than an in office visit with his regular vet. Far less stress on us and our old boy who could barely walk, let alone get in to and out of a vehicle. If you have to make this difficult choice for your family pet, definitely call them. Do not let what you imagine the cost might be keep you from asking. They will surprise you with their reasonable pricing and understanding that this sort of event should happen in the comfort of your home, not in an office where they then send you out to drive upset and emotional over your loss. They did offer a zippered bag and a paw print, that we declined. But it is a wonderful addition for those who want them.

Today we sadly had to put on beloved dog Gamma down. We could not reach our normal vet and reached out to Dr. Wiley on a wing and a prayer. Not only she did come into the office, but she and her tech aid Randi were so very caring and attentive. Dr. Wiley cared about our dog. She was patient and very knowledgeable about what she was doing. She explained the process to us and took her time, even though it was her day off. I cannot find the words to express how grateful we are to Dr. Wiley for being there for us during our dark hour.

It was Friday afternoon, my usual vet was out of the office already and my terminally ill kitty had worsened so dramatically and needed help crossing the rainbow bridge and couldn't wait until Monday. They accommodated my beloved pet, got his paw print (which made me so so very happy) memorialized, and allowed me to be with him when he passed.I would recommend this vet even above my usual because of how awesome they treated me and how they helped in my darkest hour and how wonderful they were with my kitty.Thank you so much for being an awesome veterinary practice. We thank you.

I have taken my pets to Wiley's ark for the past 10 years, I can not say enough positive things about Dr. Wiley and her staff, they are attentive, caring, available and honest. My pets have always been very comfortable in the office and enjoy the "pampering" treatments that are part of every appointment. As a pet owner I place a great deal of importance on the fact that Dr. Wiley offers her own emergency services, can always be reached by phone, and even offers house calls. I rest easier knowing my pets are in the capable hands of Dr. Wiley and her amazing staff!

My dog and three cats have been seeing Dr. Wiley for the past two years. The office staff are always friendly, professional, and helpful, and on multiple occasions have spent twenty minutes or more on the phone with me discussing medication options. Dr. Wiley is knowledgeable about nutrition and behavior (I decided to schedule my first appointment there when I walked into the office and there wasn't a single bag of Science Diet in sight), and I'm always comfortable asking for her opinion or bringing up the latest issue with my pets. Appointments are well-scheduled - we're never kept waiting and the office is never uncomfortably crowded. My dog is very fearful, and Dr. Wiley and her staff have always gone out of their way to make sure she's as comfortable and happy as possible - now, my fearful dog loves everyone at the vet so much, she sulks when I bring the cats in for checkups and she doesn't get to go. I wouldn't bring my guys anywhere else.

The techs were very good with our boy. They came down to his level to talk and pick him up. He is 14 and is not a big fan of the vet office(any office). Dr. Wiley was very thorough. Our boy was not happy with some of the things that he had done to him. This office is very personable yet professional. There prices are reasonable and their quotes are accurate. If you need a vet in or around Holley. I would suggest Wiley's Ark Animal Care.

I originally decided to go to Dr. Wiley's business because I didn't like the way my dog was treated at the previous vet. I think he has PTSD and the way he was treated seemed to make him more nervous. When I arrived at Wiley's Ark, all of the staff were very warm and welcoming to me AND my dog. I told them the history of my dog biting in the past and they were not phased by it. I also told them that he had a history of urinating when nervous, again, they weren't phased by it. It's been about 9 months since I started using their services. Because my dog has a medical condition that needs to be monitored closely, I have had many opportunities to be assisted by the staff. I also stop to purchase toys for our family dogs and referred my granddaughter there for her puppy. I was relieved and pleasantly surprised by the respect they showed to me and my dog at our first visit. I continue to be grateful for their caring attention and attitude. And just as important, my dog must feel comfortable because he has not tried to bite or wet out of nervousness. Dr. Wiley has been sure to educate me on my dog's condition, the options for treatment and the possible outcomes. Every time I am called with the results of blood tests, I am asked if I have any questions and to please call if I have questions in the future. I can tell that they truly care about what happens with my dog and how I am dealing with it. Then, when I go to pick up a refill of medication, they always ask how everyone is doing. I can tell, it is a heartfelt question, not just an everyday greeting. I not only believe this is Dr. Wiley's calling, I also believe she's made great choices in picking her staff because this is their calling, too. I would recommend everyone that cares about their pet's treatment, go to Dr. Wiley because they care, too!

Terrible service they told me to come in early for the surgery. I waited outside for 15 minutes, I knocked on the door and no one answered. 2 workers just walked by and ignored me, I told one of them I think it was rude to ask me to come in early and then make me wait outside. Mrs. Wiley came outside to ask me what was the matter. I told her and she told me that most people arrive late that's why people are asked to come in early and have to wait for 15 minutes. I told her I wasn't late so that doesn't make sense to ask people to come in early and make them wait outside. She was then very condescending, told me they were setting up a hospital. As a RN for over 20 years, I have never asked a patient to come in early and make them stand outside waiting. When I said this to her, she said "bye" and walked away and did not do the surgery. Total unprofessional behavior. Never come here unless if you want to be treated like trash.

I have had four dogs and six cats that have seen Dr. Wiley over the past 10 years. Some have since crossed the rainbow bridge, but I have always felt confident that my animals have received the best care. Dr. Wiley is incredibly knowledgeable and always makes me feel like I have the required information to make an educated decision regarding the best treatment options for my pets and my budget. I am confident my pets are getting the best care when I take them to Wiley's Ark. Plus, my dogs Harley and Tanner have a pet crush on Dr. Wiley and Amethyst.

I have been taking my pets...... yes multiple animals to Dr Wiley’s for years have never had any issues!! Very professional and caring as if they all were her very own, I only can wonder if the bad reviews are from the client I had to sit in the waiting room and watch go absolutely nuts to the point that had to call the police on you!!?? Some people do not know how to act in public and usually blame others when they are in the wrong!!! To the woman that seem to be maybe looking for meds for herself instead of her poor animal you not only scared me but my poor dog too!!! To Dr Wiley and her staff thank you for always being professional and accommodating to myself and my animals I love so dearly!!!!

DR. WILEY IS NOT EVEN WORTH ONE STAR...My husband and I took our two kitties to Wiley's Ark for their updated rabies and distemper vaccines along with an exam. We had just moved back to the Holley area and thought this location would be convenient. The minute we walked through the door, I did not feel warmly greeted or welcomed in any way. The technician appeared to have extremely flat affect, and, again, not the warm and fuzzy personalities I'm used to in a vet's office. Then Dr. Wiley comes in and completes the exam on our calico kitty. Without any feeling what-so-ever, Dr. Wiley says "she's in kidney failure." I was so taken aback by her comment, it took a few seconds for the information to sink in and I burst into tears. Dr. Wiley looked me dead in the eyes and asked "You need a tissue?" and then returns to examining Bella. "I can feel her kidneys are small and grainy, usually what we see in kidney failure. I can give you a work up on the tests she can have which will give us a better idea..." I've shut down at this point and everything Dr. Wiley says goes in one ear and out the other. I did manage to get a few tissues as I sat sobbing away in the corner of the office.Even as I write this, I still can't believe how we were treated by the entire care team at Wiley's Ark. I don't care if the doctor is Cornell University educated or she got her degree on some podunk farm in God's country, she does not have the gift of empathy or compassion. Believe me, doctor, a little compassion goes a long, long way. And we got nothing from you. We will not be returning to Wiley's Ark for anything in the future. Nor will I recommend this provider to friends and co-workers.

We got a new puppy in December, and have brought her here ever since. The staff are very caring, and actally listen to what you have to say, even the littlest things you have to ask. Very reasonably priced and don't force you to buy things you don't need to. They have good appoitment times for everyone and I have never had to wait to get my pup looked at. Great place!

Dr. Wiley and her staff have always gone above and beyond to provide excellent care for my cats. I trust their knowledge, and they always give plenty of options for treatment, covering all price ranges. I wouldn't take my pets to anyone else. I was treated with great compassion when one of my cats died and I brought her in to find out what the cause was.

I do not recommend Wiley's ark to any one not unless you want to be scared and worry sick about your pet. Doctor Wiley is nothing but cold saying oh i think your dog has a tummer so un professional with no sempathy what so ever. If i could give the a no star review i would. I feel bad for the staff that work for her. .

Good and knowledgeable veterinary. But a very cold bedside manner. Feels like she doesn't even want to listen to you. Almost feels like you're on a conveyor belt on a production line at a factory . I left feeling like none of our questions were really addressed...

When our cocker spaniel passed away and we brought her to the "Ark", Dr Wiley did not i even come into the room but left the tech to take her remains. That was so cold, callous, uncaring. The tech was warm and geuinely compassionate and the only reason I didn't rate this lower. Our hearts were broken and she didn't even care! We will NEVER go back there. If you want a vet who cares and who has a bedside manner, DO NOT GO HERE!!!

My daughter took her very sick kitty in to the office this morning. They refused to see him because she didn't have $75. She had to take him back home, where he died a short time ago. I am appalled by the lack of compassion shown by this practice. Evidently, they only care about the money.

I had an appointment to get my 6 month old Springerdoodle dog spayed on 4/12/18. I was told to arrive 5-10 minutes before the surgery at 8 am. I arrived, saw the tech go in the employee door and since the sign did not say "open" I knocked twice on the door. The tech let me in and said just wait a couple minutes and I said fine.> Then Dr. Wiley came out to the waiting room and started yelling and screaming, "Can you just give us a minute, can you just give us a minute? We are not open yet, the computers aren't up, the phones are not up, I've been here all night, can't you just wait, can't you just wait…(said this at least 5 times). I was shocked and she took me by such surprise and was so upset. I responded, "yes, it's not a problem I can wait that's fine" but at that point I didn't know if I should just take my dog and leave the building. I tried to tell Dr. Wiley that the other tech told me to arrive 5-10 minutes before the surgery, and she screamed "well, that's because people come late then the surgery needs to be cancelled." So why was she so angry with me??? Then the dog jumped up on Dr. Wiley and she gave her a really disgusted look. The tech witnessed the entire encounter and I said to her twice.."I can reschedule, it's not a problem if it's not a good day, really--just let me know". She said that no, it will be fine, they just had lots of emergencies in the last couple days and it had not been good at the office. I didn't know what to do, but I decided to stay then was walked back with the dog. I asked Dr. Wiley if she wouldn't mind just checking the dog's ear which my daughter had just noticed two days before was red. Again, she "freaked out" at me and said "is this a new problem, is it an old problem, have you been using ear wash, do you want her examined, do you want us to culture it, etc" and was VERY condescending and acted like I should not have asked the question about the ear. I tried to say "well, when she was at the office last time the ear was a little red, got better and you just said to dry it off well after she has been outside" but I barely got the words out. She angrily flipped through the chart and said very emphatically, "well, I don't see it in Feb notes or in Jan notes so it's a NEW PROBLEM". And acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. I told the tech after she left that she was examined for it at last visit but Dr. Wiley must not have written it down.> At this point I felt like just rushing out of the office. I didn't know what to do. I felt humiliated, condescended to, worried that Dr. Wiley would not perform the surgery right since she had been "up all night" etc. But I decided to have her have the appt, left the office and immediately called my daughter and husband. Everyone was really taken off guard and couldn't believe I had to go through that when I am the customer, my pets are the patients and I did absolutely nothing wrong to be treated that way. I should mention we have 3 Russian Siberian cats who go there. When my daughter went to pick up the dog, the tech asked my daughter, "would you like your records and/or be transferred out?" and basically stated she didn't blame us.Another tech called me to check on the dog the next day and I asked her if she was aware of what went on and she said "somewhat" so I relayed the story. She agreed the behavior was not right and that she tends to get very stressed, never apologizes, etc. Both girls said this "wasn't the first time that something like this happened." So my question is---how does her business stay open, how competent a vet is she if she resorts to tirades on customers and how DOES she treat her employees if she treats her customers so bad?I want to add that we have received the most professional, friendliest, best care from the staff--and all have been so helpful with any questions re: 3 cats and our dog. I will truly miss the girls who work there. BUT DON'T GO HERE--THE VET WILL MAKE YOU FEEL INFERIOR AND IS VERY CONDESCENDING AND MAY YELL AT YOU!!!

Best animal hospital around! The staff really care about you and your pets. They remember the names of all my animals. That also have opened up after hours for us when one of our dogs needed emergency care. They also came to my house two separate times to put my dogs down. It’s a respect thing in my book to have them put down at home. They sat and cried with us. Amazing hospital and staff!!

Awful customer service. The workers are rude and have no people skills. I was quoted a price which ended up being 3 times higher. They were disrespectful and left my animals looking worse then when they arrived. All I can say is if you dont like your job find a new one. Absolutely disgusted with everything with them right now

Parker gets the best care from Dr. Wiley and her staff. He's extra nervous around people he doesn't know and they take the time to handle his temperament appropriately. We would recommend Wiley's Arc to anyone!!

My 2 dogs possibly ingested rat poison and I had a difficult time aquiring the prescription needed. After calling several pharmacies and veterinarians this veterinarian helped us . CVS wanted $600 for 8 tablets and this vet got us the prescription for $40 . We are moving to Holley and will be coming back to this vet. Thank you to this veterinarian!! I would give a 10 star rating if I could!
