Just the owner was working & she was super friendly ☺️ I got The Hoff Bfast Sandwich & it was really good ! It had egg, bacon, sausage, ham, white american, and drizzled with some maple syrup on an onion bagel. It was really good & will stop here again when in town. Only the owner was working the place, this morning for breakfast. The owner served and cooked. It was fairly empty when we walked in, when we left there was barely any tables. I watched as owner worked, every customer was taken care of in a timely manner. Great home made food, clean, and friendly.

Delicious food in a friendly atmosphere. I had their signature waffle topped with chocolate and peanut butter and whipped cream, but there is a broad range of options. I look forward to another visit.Parking: Parking is in the back as the front is an old storefront on the sidewalk.Kid-friendliness: The six year old in our party was so engrossed with the provided coloring book and crayons that we had to remind him to eat.

First visit! The staff were all welcoming and friendly. The food was fresh and delicious. Cute little diner experience, small town feels. Good service, we definitely will be backKid-friendliness: Brunch Buffet has lots of fruit options. Kids 5 and under are free, kids 10-5 are $10. So great when you know they are not going to eat much at the buffet but they want options.

A great place to eat breakfast. The cinnamon rolls were delicious and they offered to slice them in half and throw them on the grill with butter. Genius!They offered a brunch buffet but we opted for the sandwiches, which were delicious.Highly recommend.

We purchased the fish fry dinner and chicken tender dinner. Everything was cooked or prepared very well. My only criticism is the Mac and cheese/coleslaw/potatoes could have used more salt and flavor. They were on the bland side. The fish itself was amazing.

I was getting my car worked on and the wait was about an hour. The lady at the register said you can walk to the town and dine at poppy's place. Long story short this place is amazing. The waitress was sweet, the people that were dining were very nice. The prices are very reasonable, we managed to fill up 3 people for only 25 bucks. and overall I will come here again when I'm passing through. 10/10Features: Hand sanitizer at every table

We drove all the way up from Sauquoit because some friends said it was AWESOME! It was well worth the trip.Food was great! I had blueberry stuffed waffle and my fellow diner had canolli stuffed French toast! Owner was very friendly and does all the baking/and I think all the cooking! We left with a slice of canoli cake and 2 root beer float cupcakes!!! They were scrumptious!!!They are open later on Fridays for fish fry and other seafood.They do a Sunday breakfast/brunch buffet which includes your drink for a reasonable price(less than $15.00)! Can't wait to try that out some Sunday.Dietary restrictions: There are MANY options for gluten free and sugar freeParking: Parking was convenient

My mother meets her friend here often. We finally got down to try it. The “Hoff” sandwich was unlike anything I had ever tried. It is everything you could ask for in a breakfast sandwich. A combination of crunchy bagel, soft fluffy eggs, some salt/ savory from the meats and cheese and maple syrup drizzle to get that bit of sweetness. Honestly I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to go in and order anything else. My wife had the blueberry pancakes they were fresh, fluffy and loaded with blueberries. It was a little busy and only one server but my coffee never had time to empty or get cold. Friendly, family owned place with a nice decor and charm.We took some of their fresh baked goods home to have later because we were so full from the food. Do yourself a favor and support this local business.

Stopped here for a cup pf soup and late breakfast on my way through the village of Holland Patent and was blown away by the quality of my food. Friendly people cooking marvelous homemade everything. The bacon released surprisingly sweet smokey notes about fifteen chomps in, so chew thoroughly, the flavors run deep in this place.

I ate here on July 17th. I had one of the specialty sandwiches (the arbwich), potato salad, and a carrot cake gluten free cupcake! EVERYthing was absolutely delicious!
