As a service professional, I recommend you steer away from this place as it will most likely dissapoint considering the many wonderful wineries in the area. The Lake view and historic house was what drew us in but at the expense of ruining your day and wasting your hard earned money is not worth in any way.Detail if management is interested in bettering the experience for the guests:On 4/9/24 we greeted coldly and off putting so I should have known from the start, our business is not welcome here.Trying to pick a wine or liquor to enjoy by the lake, the lady at the counter seemed to have absymal knowledge and understanding of the product she pours or standard procedures or desire to help the customer choose something as plenty of cues were provided.I mentioned I'd like to try a typical riesling. Each time when my question about the wine could not be answered, I was asked if I'd like a small taste. I was offered a teaspoon of a dry wine twice, both were off.I asked for a single taste pour of the raspberry liquor as I was very enthusiastic to purchase at least something to take home. As stated on the menu, it costs $10 - comparable to a full serving of a cordial in any restaurant in the country.I did that before committing to spend $54 on the bottle. This time the pour was not even a half ounce. Literally just a sip, could barely discern the light brown color, not a vibrant color expected for a raspberry liquor.Again, this is nowhere near the standard tasting size of 1 to 1.5 ounces per wine at a typical wine tasting anywhere in the world. In the end, I asked for a glass serving of something to take outside.A 4 wine tasting is $10, a single taste is $4, a full glass $8.I was charged $38 for a skimpy beer sample flight which totalled no more than 2 oz, a plastic cup of white wine and 3 tiny sips which would not under no circumstances be called tastings or even sample. My partner paid the bill because we have education not to argue even as it made no sense at all and we clearly expressed dissatisfaction and mentioned that we will not be back. The disgraceful customer service really put a damper on our vacation. As professionals in the hospitality industry, I hope other people do not have the same treatment.

Great winery experience! Evan was awesome. He is very knowledgeable - I learned so much about wine and history of the region.

We went with a group of 14 & we all loved Miles winery. Jenn was the girl doing our tasting and she shared the history of the winery and was so kind to everyone. The history was so interesting and all the wines have something to do w it. After the tasting we went to the dock and Chris was telling us more stories and was so nice. The location is also beautiful and the prices were fair. I wish we would have spent more time here.

My new favorite winery! I had never been there before and I’m SO glad I went! I was with my dog, Millie and was not sure if we could just walk down to the Boathouse or not. I stepped inside quietly and stayed right by the door. The woman who greeted me was SO friendly. She could have shoed my dog and I out but instead took the time to explain to us that the boathouse was down the path and that it is open and that the bartender is there. Most places now a days lack customer service but I could tell Miles Wine Cellars does not! We will definitely be back and I’ll be bringing my family! Thank you for your kindness and having THE best views ON Seneca Lake!

Stopped here on a whim, and so glad we did! Staff were the kindest people and helpful when choosing a drink. My friend and I each got a peach mimosa and took our drinks down to the lake. The view was beautiful. You can also dock your boat here, which is cool.

Stopped there this past weekend (Saturday), the guy at tasting in the front was very rude when I asked it they were pet friendly. I asked about when the shots go off and he was snippy and said if my dog was skittish we probably shouldn’t bring her there. We decided to go in ( my husband had never been there, really wanted to see it). Right behind us walking in was a large group of women, he completely ignored the four of us, he did come over and asked if we were tasting (after we stood there a bit) we said yes, then he went back to the group, walked away with them and never saw him again. In the meantime people were coming in and they were being led into another room while we all stood at the counter along with two other ladies (not in our party). So we left, so disappointed it’s such a beautiful place, it only takes one bad experience to ruin it.

An exquisitely beautiful and welcoming, far from any hint of greediness, family-owned establishment. Their tasting options encompass a wide array, from wines and craft beers to ciders, spirits, brandy, vodka, and whiskey. The vodka boasts an astonishingly mild flavor, while their maple whiskey is truly exceptional!

If I could give this place 100 stars, I would. Miles wine cellars is amazing and that's an understatement. We were welcomed into the tasting room by the owner, she was so kind and welcoming! After the tasting I asked for a bit more information on the building and she had a wealth of knowledge from renovation to historical facts. Asking her a million and one questions she happily answered and took her time with us. If she had an adult story time we absolutely would have been In attendance. Highly recommend!!

This is one of my favorite wineries on Seneca Lake. The property was gorgeous and staff was very accommodating. Their wine slushies were my favorite of all the slushies I tried. I was here for the wine and cheese event and even though they do not participate in the event I can never pass them up. The dock was open and it was a great place to sit and cool down on a hot day.

Great location with a beautiful view of the lake plus a dock on the water.and a stately house for the tasting room. Staff was friendly and greeted us promptly even though it was a bit crowded around the small bar. They offer a variety of libations and the wine tasted good. Not 5 stars because the only restrooms were port-a-potties and very little comfortable seating available.

My wife and I visited for the rosé in May event. When we arrived, a man greeted us and he seemed overwhelmed because he was the only person there at the time and another person had arrived for a wine tasting. He walked us to another room where he passed us along to a female bartender. The bartender was friendly at first, until my wife asked if some of the dry wines in the flight could be exchanged for sweeter options. In a condescending manner, the bartender said, “Honey, this is a dry rosé event.” Other wineries were accommodating in this aspect. My wife was disappointed and shocked that someone would speak to her condescendingly. The bartender poured the dry wines and said, “They aren’t bone dry and if you don’t like them you can pour them out.” Then, she placed the pour bucket in front of my wife.My wife didn’t continue her tasting and I hastily finished mine. We left disappointed because last year we had a good wine tasting experience and this year it was horrendous. There was only 1 other person besides us in the building and we shouldn’t have been mistreated. We won’t visit again due to the lack of coordination between the staff and the female bartender’s demeanor. You can get good wine anywhere in the Finger Lakes but Service is what matters!

Seven of us enjoyed our visit to Miles. The place was clean and inviting. We did a tasting of their various offerings. Our server was friendly and informative. Now, taste in wine is a very personal and subjective thing. So, I will only say that each of us found wines that we liked and a few that were not to our taste. I don't recall one that we all agreed on. For me it was all about the experience. With that being said, go do a tasting, buy what you like and enjoy the experience.

This is a charming, friendly little winery in a beautiful setting. Their wines were very good. Thanks so much for accommodating our group. We loved meeting Butter, the puppy, too! I would definitely like to come back and spend more time here.

Gorgeous landscape with the weeping willow tree and boat house/dock. However the wine tasting is inside the house, which is quite dark. The property is so beautiful, yet there’s no tastings available outside. The only restroom available is a portapotty in the parking lot. We chose to come to this winery because it’s one of the few right on the water, and while we might consider coming back due to the fact that we could get a glass of wine and take it down to the water, we aren’t rushing to get back here.

One of the best places to come and hang out. Not only is their wine fantastic, they have a large selection of local beers and ciders. The dock bar is beautiful, we could stay all day. It is also dog friendly which is appreciated.

We have enjoyed Miles for years! We just finished our second weekend at the Inn. This is a great place to relax after an afternoon of visiting the wine trail. We love the boat house and continue to meet great people each time we go. We also have enjoyed our experiences with the ghosts. They have never been frightening, just unexpected, letting us know they are there. We appreciate all the staff, who are delightful and totally accommodating. Suzie and Doug are great hosts. We can’t wait to bring more of our friends there.

Wonderful family run winery right on the lake with access to their private boat house/bar area! Super nice family & spunky little puppy Boon. Sweet grounds to taste their wines. Glad we stopped. Also had aB&B in the old house which they say is haunted by friendly ghosts. Maybe next stay!

Very cute winery and beautiful location (right on the water). The service was slow which is usually fine but was running on a strict schedule so I felt like I didn’t have much take to truly enjoy the tasting. I prefer tastings where I can pick and choose amongst a list rather than ordering pre-set tasting options, but all in all, beautiful scenery and good wine.

Used to be a must hit destination on our Finger Lakes vacation. But it appears that this establishment has gotten away from being a winery with a relaxed atmosphere where customers are more than customers. Now it’s a very stuffy atmosphere where the tastings no longer include a souvenir glass. They cost more. The tastings are barely enough to properly taste. Server makes no attempt to explain the wine. Almost seemed bothered by our being there. The $7 wine slushy is served in a bathroom cup and tastes like they forgot the wine. We usually leave with two cases, but only 3 bottles this year. The wines overall have gotten flat in quality over the last few years, but this year....This was a very devastating experience for us since we really used to enjoy this place. We have seen this sort of degradation to other wineries up here. But never to one we enjoyed. I’m sad to say we have visited this place for the last time.

A great place with some unique wine. We really enjoyed the tasting and outdoors of this winery. They have a beautiful patio and a boat house which is open weather permitting. If you try the Ghost wine don’t forget to ask the back story of the name.

Beautiful location with a great bar in the dock but the staff was so unpleasant and unhelpful. When asked about the wines, I was told to read about it in their menu. Even if their wines were excellent I wouldn't have bought any!
