We were nervous leaving Tango at a kennel for the first time. We always had a family member watch her. But when the family plan fell through we were scrambling to find a place for her. After talking to a half dozen places we finally got a recommendation to call Pheasant Creek. They were great to work with, Brooke was great and put us at ease. Tango had a great time and we loved the report cards and check in’s! Thank you, we will be back!

Fantastic dog boarding facility that I cannot recommend enough for your furry friends. The prices are extremely affordable and beat all of the other places I researched for our dogs. But don't let the low prices fool you-this place goes well above and beyond in accommodating your dogs and cats. We had out two dogs boarded and they had a vast array of comforting amenities - from the large kennels with indoor and outdoor spaces, options for daily hiking and swimming activities, multiple daily potty breaks/walks in their large dog yard, customized feeding and treat routines, grooming and bathing, ect ect. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and obviously showered my pups with love. Even my shy dog Lexi loved the employees and she rarely warms up like that, which speaks volumes about her experience here.The facility is located right on the family's home/farm and is a truly beautiful setting. Everything was very clean and well cared for. When we picked our dogs up they were freshly bathed and couldn't have been happier- so I know they enjoyed their time... I don't even think they missed us they had so much fun lol. They also offer cat boarding here which we didn't use this time, but will be doing so in the future after seeing how well they took care of our dogs.I've used a few other kennels in the past and Pheasant Creek is by far the best one - I had zero reservations about leaving my dogs for two weeks and took comfort knowing they were loved on in my absence.We were given a little doggy report card with pictures and ratings on how our pups did (they were angels!) which was such a thoughtful touch.Again I cannot recommend Jason, Brooke and the rest of the team at Pheasant Creek for looking after your pets. Thank you all again for taking such wonderful care of Lexi and Jaden! See you next time!!

We've taken our dogs and cats to Pheasant Creek for probably 10 years. The owner and his employees are friendly, enthusiastic, and take great care of our animals. We never have to worry about them when we are away. The kennel is clean and safe and the prices are very reasonable. We continue to use them several times a year.

Amazing place... I had a hard time finding a boarding place for my Sharpei/Boxer mix because he is a rescue dog and sometimes has problems with dogs he doesn’t know. Most boarding places have all the dogs play together but this place separates dogs and my Wiggles did great... he loved the farm. Caesar is a golden retriever and loved it too... it’s such a relief to know I have a place to take the dogs if I need to get away for a short trip. Jason & The Staff are top notch. We left our 6 year old Labrador here for her first stay away from home. The staff took care of all our specific needs for our dog. Their facility and grounds are beautiful. Her stay was really pleasant. She was taken outside each day to exercise and play. When I picked her up she was clean, and happy. I'd highly recommend Pheasant Creek Farms for your pets future stay away from home.

We have had our 2 dogs stay at Pheasant Creek Farm at least a half dozen times. They have great prices and allow both our dogs to stay in one kennel together which is great for the dogs and on our wallet :) Their kennels are generously sized and very clean. Every time we pick them up they give you a report card that shows a picture of them playing outside, how well they ate, how they socialized with other dogs, etc. We love taking the dogs there and will continue to for a very long time.

Used this kennel for the first time this past week. We have been searching for a kennel a little close to home but we needed to make sure they would take care our furbaby. He is a rescue mastiff/boxer mix who sometimes can be a handful.The staff are super friendly and the kennel is very clean. They welcome you to bring along items from home to help your pet be more comfortable. They didn't nickel and dime me for every little service, instead they have all inclusive pricing. We did pay extra for additional hiking on the property every day not just play yard time, but it was reasonable. I received a report card from the staff letting me know everything that happened during his stay. We paid for grooming and his fur is so soft and he had a cute bandana put on too. Overall we are thrilled to have found a new home away from home for our Seamus.

Our dog Sugar has been to Pheasant Creek Farm several times- ranging from a quick overnight to a 10 day stay. Each and every time we have been more than satisfied with her visit. The facility is clean, staff is friendly and thorough on Sugars individual needs, and she is always well groomed at pickup. Our kids especially love the report card sent home after each visit which includes pictures of Sugar outside during play time and how she "behaved" (ate, slept, played, etc) while she was away. I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a home away from home for their dog!

Well after a bad experience at another kennel years ago we found pheasant creek and gave them a shot. Totally worth it. They handle our temperamental dog really well. But being as good of as a kennel as they are they fill up fast so we went to other kennels and our dog can't get away from them fast enough. (I'd stay away from labs of love) whenever we pick her up from pheasant creek she's happy we're there but she doesn't mind staying either.

Hard to rate when you aren't there except to pick up and drop off. Staff are very friendly, place has a clean smell which is a good sign, do a tour before you book I liked that inside the kennels are separated by a wall not by a fence. We use them several times a year (ask for their loyalty program) and can't find any obvious faults.

My experience with Pheasant Creek Farm has been fantastic! My co-worker recommended Pheasant Creek Farm and it took no more than 30 seconds on the phone with Jason to know my search for a kennel was over. The owners’ home is a stone’s throw from the kennel building and the entire property is meticulously maintained. Drop off and pick up is at set times, and is super easy. The dogs were ready when I arrived for pick-up, the bill was printed, and everything I sent with them (bowls, blankets, etc) was CLEAN! I couldn’t believe it – they washed EVERYTHING! I also received a 1 page report card with pictures and information about my dogs’ visit.My dogs are young, large, and and filled with energy. The staff never has a problem handling them. They always come home tired and happy. I’ve only gotten baths for them a few times, but that’s simply because I have short-haired dogs who love a bath in the driveway with a garden hose. But on the occasions I had them bathed, they came home smelling great and rocking cute little bandanas around their necks.Since the initial visit, my dogs have become regulars. They get so excited when we pull onto the property. Tails are always wagging when we get inside. I can tell that they are happy, which makes me even more comfortable. They’ve stayed at Pheasant Creek Farm almost 10 times this year, including a full 2 weeks when I went on vacation in October. I was never able to take a long vacation in the past because I was never comfortable leaving my dogs anywhere for that long, including with family. I brought dog beds for the 2 week stay, but fully expected them to be shredded upon my return. At a previous kennel, the dogs tore apart anything I sent because they had so much anxiety. I was so happy to see the beds in one piece at pick up! Also, my one dog has been dealing with a skin allergy condition for almost 3 years. Apparently 2 weeks at Pheasant Creek Farm was all she needed. It cleared up completely during her stay and hasn’t reoccurred. Pheasant Creek Farm seriously puts my mind at ease. Its nice to be able to get away and not constantly worry about my pooches.I could seriously go on and on about all the things I love about Pheasant Creek Farm. Soup to nuts, the customer service is fantastic. Even with set pick-up times, sometimes I’ve been running behind or occasionally, early. I’ve been able to call in advance and change the time last minute. I will say, they don’t typically answer the phone when you call, which may bother some people. I am 100% okay with this – they are busy walking, feeding, bathing, and caring for the animals. I simply leave a message and my call is always promptly returned.I think overall, the best testament of how much I like Pheasant Creek Farm is this: my boyfriend and I work full time. He has his own business and I travel for my job nearly 75% of the time. We also live hundreds of miles from family. So like most Americans, we are very busy people and never seem to have enough time to do the things we want. Pheasant Creek Farm is almost an hour from our home in the opposite direction of where we are typically traveling. Which means, our 3.5 hour car ride to see family for the weekend turns into a 5 hour ride when we drop the dogs off. Are there other kennels en route? Sure. Will I ever even consider taking my fur babies there to save myself the 90 minutes? No way! Its worth the extra time driving to Hamlin knowing that my dogs are happy and I can enjoy my time away without worrying about them.One last tip – as soon as you know your plans/schedule, call the kennel and book! You can always cancel if things change. I made the mistake of attempting to book a night in early July about 1 month out. I didn’t consider that the date was popular due to week-long 4th of July vacations. I was put on waiting list, but sadly never made it to the top. I had to convince friends to house/dog sit for 2 nights….and I worried the ENTIRE TIME! I wouldn’t have worried if my dogs were at Pheasant Creek Farm.

The best care for your pet, when vacationing. Have had my two dogs stay here to many times to count, never had one issue, problem our worried about the care they receive. Have been a customer for almost 10 yrs, minimizes the guilt associated with boarding a pet. Daily walks and grooming at end of visit is helpful.

I have been taking my 3 large dogs to this kennel for the past couple of years and I couldn't be happier with the staff and the kennel. First this kennel is very clean, the dogs have no issues going and are happy to be there, they run into greet everyone and I can see by the photos that they have been playing and enjoying their stay. The kennel is great about accommodating your pet's needs and they do a great job at providing a caring staff to spend time with the dogs.Prior to coming to the kennel I was always concerned that the dogs wouldn't get what they need, but I don't worry here. The dogs are exercised and happy when I pick them up. Having a set pick up and drop off time is great, but I have arrived early and still been able to pick up or drop off so there is flexibility. As I said my dogs are large, 1 is a rottweiler mix, 1 is a cane corso, and 1 is a english mastiff. The staff have no problems handling them and accommodating their exercise and space needs.Jason has always been very helpful and I don't hesitate to recommend and refer friends and family to use this kennel. Take a look at the rest and I think you will find this is one of the few that really does meet the pet's and owner's needs.

Our dogs were there this past weekend and they took great care of the dogs. They even washed the dog beds before we picked them up and we were not expecting that. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe place for their animals.

I've worked quite a bit with Jason and he's a great guy who clearly puts a lot of care into what he does. If you need someone to watch over your pet and trust they'll do a good job, this is the place to go!

BAD EXPERIENCE!!! First and last time I will ever use this kennel. First off the website lies, they sure paint a pretty picture; but so not reality. Website states "cage less boarding" First thing they did was put my dog in an 8x8 caged kennel on a concrete slab. No bed, no water nothing! I inquired about the "cot" they told me they had... they did provide that after I asked. The young man who checked us in told me they stay in this 'cage less' kennel all day. out for 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes in the evening and that was it!!! I was very upset and asked to speak to Jason; the owner. Jason was not available at that time but he did call me within an hour of my request. he told me he had no idea where I got the idea that my dog was only allowed out for 20 minutes am/pm. I told him the young man at the front desk working at his establishment told me that!!! he assured me that wasn't true; which made me feel better about leaving on vacation. So off I went; while on vacation I did get a message from Jason to let me know my dog was doing fine. This was nice and did make me more relaxed about leaving him in the doggy jail as it looked. On return I had a 9:30 appointment to pick him up. 9:25 I was there, ringing the door bell, knocking, calling both landline and cell phone. No answer anywhere from anyone. 20 minutes after attempting to get someone to acknowledge I was there a young girl did come into the office to help me. Meanwhile I stood there with my children , anxiously awaiting to pick up our puppy. We could hear him whining in the 'cage less' cage. While waiting, we noticed on the dry erase board a note to remove the bad review off the internet!!! Well here is another to have removed. Very bad experience!!! Also, the website notes a digital disc when you pick up your pet; guess what??? you got it- no such thing was ever offered. I did get a report card with one picture of my dog outside! I will say the kennel itself was clean and did not smell. They did a nice job with his grooming, but other than that this place was terrible. would not recommend it to anyone! EVER!
