This place used to be so great! We went in last week and the new hostess was unapologetically rude and borderline hostile to my group because we had a support animal for my partner's disabled brother. When we told her we felt unwelcome and that the support animal had never been an issue there before, she just shrugged and told us they were under new management. Sad because this establishment used to be our favorite in the area.

I recently stayed at this hotel for one night, and my experience was far from satisfactory. The persistent noise emanating from the air conditioning unit disrupted our sleep every time it turned on. Given the chilly weather, we had no choice but to keep the A/C running. This constant interruption made it impossible to get a good night's rest. Considering the inconvenience and the steep price of nearly $500 for one night, I cannot recommend this hotel as a worthwhile stay.

A luxury chic retreat from all the hustle and bustle of modern life. Took our son here and enjoyed the gorgeous pool with vistas and surrounding nature. Want to come back in the fall when the leaves start to change colors! And winter with the sauna and fire pit! A lovely place year round. The food here is incredible, too—Top restauranteur from NYC. Thank you, Little Cat Lodge!

My husband and I stayed with our dogs at the Little Cat Lodge while visiting the Berkshires in summer, so the ski slopes were quiet. The Lodge was clean, comfortable, and decorated in a spare, very charming way. It's close to plenty of activities in a beautiful area; the staff is very friendly; and the whole operation just has a really lovely, laid-back, old-time feel. We loved it and would return in a snap.

My young son and I stay here a few days over New Year's. The staff were wonderful and the buildings are charming. We enjoyed the daily breakfast buffet and had dinner there on New Years Eve- it was all delicious.I have to say the beds were hands down the best I've ever slept in at a hotel. The rooms are thoughtful and incredibly cozy. My sister and her family stayed a few nights in one of the suites; they had plenty of space for their family of 4 (including teenagers) and we even had a movie night with all of us comfortably lounging in the living space. The lobby and restaurant were great meeting spaces for our group and the toddler and teenagers enjoyed playing games.Again- all the staff were wonderful and made us feel at home.

Beat our expectations! Besides, it is all-new, everything made with excellent taste, neat and thoughtful. Rooms have everything you need. The restaurant and bar at the property are impressive!Special note about breakfast! It is outstanding! So be sure that the price you pay for the stay includes a fabulous breakfast that includes fruits, proteins like salmon and ham, and sophisticated dishes like beetroot with sour cream, muffins, eggs, hot coffee, and juice. And all this in the amazingly crafted lodge! The owners did an outstanding job! Please keep it up, hold the bar, and we are always your customers with our friends and family!

This review is for the lodge, not the tavern. Our stay at the lodge was comfortable and the staff was very nice. Highlights included the breakfast and the hypothetical of convenient skiing. However, the accommodations, while clean and comfortable, are basic. The amenities in the wintertime, if you’re not skiing, are underwhelming. The sauna was disappointing, never reaching the point of sweating. The views from the room are nice, but there wasn’t a comfortable chair in the room and so it was hard to enjoy them.I would tell someone if they’re not skiing that the Little Cat Lodge isn’t the right value proposition.

We only dined at little cat lodge, but the food (brunch) was excellent. Bloody Marys were to die for. Both the savory and sweet options were delicious. We had the smoked trout salad, lox, and rice pudding. And staff was very attentive and friendly. I'd love to come back for dinner and to stay at the inn. Very cozy and inviting atmosphere.

Being that we live local, we really want to be supportive and give the Little Cat Lodge a try. It was a Strange experience. We wanted to sit at the bar. It was full. We were told to sit in the hotel lobby with our over priced mediocre drinks. The tavern looked cozy enough, but it was just odd. The bartender was nice but the hostess telling us to sit in the lobby was not a great 1st impression. The hotel receptionist told us to bring our glasses to the bar before we left, because the staff do not come into the lobby to clean up. Again, not professional or accommodating when they made us sit there. Really miss the hospitality of former owners

Little Cat Lodge is a truly wonderful place to stay. Not only is the space itself beautiful and thoughtfully designed, but the service is incredibly accommodating and they make you feel so taken care of and at ease, able to enjoy the stunning surroundings. The beds are super plush and we slept really well. Beautiful textiles as well. The food is stand out! Everything from the homemade sourdough bread to the delish burger to the schnitzel to the masterful desserts. So good! We ate there every night, no need to leave. The cocktails are creative and perfectly concocted. It's newly opened so they are still ironing out a few details, but the whole experience and event they hosted for me was perfect and so memorable. It's a complete vision and definitely worth it.

Great 24 hour family stay! The room was super comfortable, exemplary cleanliness and with delicate attentions. Staff members are friendly and accommodating. The evening fire in the common area is a much appreciated bonus. The breakfast offered in the morning was fresh. I highly recommend.

Great location and super cozy! Extremely comfortable bed with plush bedding. We woke up to a perfect view of the Catamount Mountain ski slopes. Everything in the Inn and restaurant / tavern has been newly updated in a wonderfully nostalgic style. It's exactly what you would imagine a perfect weekend getaway in the Hudson Valley/ Berkshires to be! The staff could not have been nicer and we felt right at home immediately. Very close proximity to Great Barrington for shopping and lots of outdoor activities in the area. We had a wonderful stay and will be coming back for sure. Highly recommend!

No doubt one of the coziest spots in the area! We had a wonderful stay and just wished we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy all that the area has to offer. Great location close to many cute towns and outdoor activities. Perfect weekend getaway and event venue. The staff was very warm and made us feel right at home. The rooms have been fully renovated with nostalgic details. Very comfortable. Views of the Catamount Ski Resort are visible from every room it seems. Our room had a fantastic view directly looking at the slopes! We certainly are looking forward to our next visit!

Was one of the very first guests to stay here, so not sure what the other two reviews are about...Needless to say, the Little Cat Lodge is such a welcome addition to the area. Myself, along with my wife and two kids, without a doubt, had one of the best nights' sleep we've had in a long time. The bedding is perfect. So much so, I'm about to purchase the exact same mattress and pillows for our home. Amazing hospitality, as the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort at all hours of our stay. There are plenty of dining options in the area, between Great Barrington, MA + Hudson, NY, but once the restaurant and bar are open, I see no reason to leave the property. Thanks so much for a fantastic stay!

Great location on the MA/NY border. Right next to Catamount Ski for those who like skiing. The restaurant was not open when we went but breakfast was still included and was a nice selection (lox, cured meats, muesli, baked goods and plenty of hot/iced coffee and tea) before heading into town or going on a hike. Dog friendly and we took our pup on the mini trail (about 5 min) behind the lodge every morning. Plenty of outdoor seating via adirondacks and there is a pool and big outdoor firepit. The room was cute and bathroom amenities are by DS & Durga. Bed is very comfy and the robes are so cute and comfy that I had to get one for myself. Housekeeping was great and we came back from each daily outing to a clean and restocked room. Staff and manager are 5 stars all the way. We definitely will be coming back to try the restaurant. The stay here is very relaxing and I highly recommend visiting.

This review is for the tavern -We visited for New Year’s Eve - my general impression was that they overcommitted and lost themselves a bit. Ours was the last seating (8:30) and a few things stood out -- The parsnip soup served as an amuse bouche was just not good. I don’t think any salt or other seasonings had been added.- Fois gras was well-prepared but served with stale toast, which was a bummer- One of the appetizers was a “local cruditè” - which looked like something you’d get at a grocery store (think carrots and cauliflower with dip). Not bad necessarily but not in line with what we expected given the price tag.- Dessert was also lackluster - parsnip semifreddo was bland, and the poached pears were leathery.- Service was uneven (we had to wait a long time to be greeted, had to remind our server a number of times that we’d ordered a drink, etc)I will say the pear salad and the pork chop - which was a substitute for the sold-out filet mignon - were both well-executed enough that I think we’ll be back, on a non-event evening. We’re local and rooting for this place!
