Robert at the highland tractor supply was SO incredibly helpful when I tried to pick up an order that was a real challenge to fit into my truck. He spend extra time working with me, going above and beyond, to make it happen so I could drive off with my supplies. Also the prices were hands down the cheapest around for both pairs & cattle panel. Good people, good place!

Always have great prices. I bring my pets there to the pet vet to get their rabies shots. We save so much money doing it this way bc you don’t have to pay a fee just to walk in the door, you’re just paying for the shot.

Associate Corey, at the Highland, NY store, went way above & beyond to help me with my questions & possible solutions regarding my rodent issues. I was so grateful for his help & expertise - I learned a lot from him!!!The cashiers are always very friendly also.

I feel that you need to know, what my wife and I experienced with the “Upstate Spay & Neuter Services” at the Highland location; it was horrendous. We made the required appointment one month in advance to spay and neuter our four kittens. Upon arrival at 7:15 for the 7:30 am admittance, in which we were the 3rd in line; by the time Bridget Bloom came out of the mobile unit, there were at least 10 people waiting. She called out for the cats first; I approached and presented the carrier with our four shivering kittens. She immediately strongly kicked carrier aside, turned he back and proceeded to accept the cats and dogs that were clearly later arrivals. She approached the pet owners with such attitude and contempt that there was a rift between her and several pet owners causing them to leave the location. She also refused to accept a pet which had the required appointment, which she claimed the pet was infested with fleas. This appeared to be her common practice. If the pet was to be accepted for treatment, she would first need to treat them for fleas at an additional cost. One owner stated she had the medication and treated pet herself and with another owner stating that he was certain that his dog did not have fleas and please check again. They were both refused service and turned away. After a comment was made that she was very unkind and that she should not work with animals; Ms. Bloom actually responded, “No it is people that I should not be working with”. We then left; I would not trust a person like that with my pets. For all my years being a pet owner, I have never witnessed such acts of uncaring, unprofessional conduct. I will never attempt to utilize the Spay & Neuter Services again.

My wife and I were shopping for outdoor string lights and Tractor Supply had the best price for what we were looking for. We purchased two 48 foot strings of the Red Shed lights and lit up our vegetable garden, so we could enjoy it in the evening. The lights were very simple to install and they look fantastic.

My mom goes to tractor on a weekly basis, and all the staff are so wonderful. She always says how nice they are, and how kind they are no matter what day it is.Earlier today, she made her weekly trip but one of the workers that she also sees all the time was going in for her shift when she pointed out her car was broken. She quickly went and got another worker who was outside and asked him to help her.The pair quickly fixed the car, they didn’t show any type of annoyance and didn’t think twice about laying straight onto the concrete even though it was so dirty.They were so kind the entire time and kept a smile on their faces, my mom will never forget about this, she’s ever thankful for the workers and all the hard and excessive work they do. Thank you to the staff.

This is the Tractor Supply in Highland NY.Once again it is a place that if you are building a homestead or have a farm, this is the place for you.Also if you are building things from scratch, they carry the tools and Hardware you will need to to finish your project.They carry just about anything you're going to need for any livestock you have.Also the staff is incredibly knowledgeable about livestock.

I only wish the staff in half the retail stores around me were this good. The staff always greats you when you enter the store and the are always very helpful. The store manager is very nice and always ahs a smile on her face. This is the neatest Tractor Supply around. Joann always goes the extra mile when taking care of every one ate the register. She treats you like a family member. She gives my puppy treats and always is nice to my 3 year old son. The manager gave my son a T shirt a few months back and he still remembers that. Keep up the great work guys.

We love to shop here and we use their 4Health dog food brand, it's great. We used the dog wash station, too, although I wasn't as impressed with that part of the store. It doesn't seem to get as much attention as the rest of the site does. It had a ton of loose dog hair and I got ringworm right after... not saying it was from here but I won't be using the wash area again, just in case. So I recommend the store, overall, just not that portion of their services.

Go to the next closest Tractor Supply. Lately the place looks like no one cares. Items are not in stock according to associates, but online states they are. They are willing to look in back for them. It might be a busy place, but it needs an overhaul to bring it back to where it used to be.

Didn't see what I needed and asked an employee and he told me they were setting the area up they would be on the floor the next day. I decided to leave and as I'm at my car the employee came out and told me he got one for me if I still wanted it. He totally went over and above and showed me old school values aren't completely gone.

Well stocked for farmers, and people with livestock. Great sorce for books on keeping livestock healthy and happy. Excellent magazines on gardening and cooking. Not your grocery store selections. A book about the origin of Christmas, who and where the tradition is practiced. I also bought,Southern Cast Iron, a magazine for people what want to cook, Southern style.

Has a wide variety of things. I can usually find what I'm looking for with regards to hardware and towing and various odds and ends. The store is usually clean, neat, and organized. The staff is always nice, polite, and helpful. If your looking for anything too specialized then you'll probably have better luck elsewhere.

Love this place. Great selection of all natural dog and cat food. Lots of fun and practical yard & home goods. Great prices and sales. Staff is always pleasant and the store is clean. Cannot beat the fact they are also dog friendly. 👍

I usually had a good experience with the Tractor supply store in Highland, 12528 NY 9W store, the staff was polite and helpful. Unfortunately, they got a new employee - a young man, who was just very rude to me when he was asked in a very polite and soft way ( I said I needed a little help - my exact words) to upload some heavy staff into my car - I just had to listen to strange remarks that their service is not a psychological therapy , then how I should have gone to my car silently, and no respond to my thank you at all. I was buying a lot from that store, but after that experience feel very bad about it, and do not want to go back there.

Always buy my dog food here and they have good deals on cheap tools that are in my opinion higher quality than what you’d get at Harbor Freight. I know a Tractor Supply is roughly the same as any other but they’re always friendly and helpful here.

If you read my other two tractor supply reviews, you will see that I love this brand. I am a little upset with this one particular store,I ran out ofsupplies for my wood stove on a cold night. I live between the New Windsor store and this one, and googled mapped which one was closer. It was 7:22 PM and I knew they close at 8 PM. Google map showed my arriving to this one at 7:45pm, and New Windsor 7:50pm. I hurried and got there arrival time 7:47 PM, extremely relieved that I made it. Lights were on, items still outside. To my dismay on a night that I desperately needed supplies, they were closed early. I knocked on the door, but they must be trained to ignore the knocks, because no one looked towards the door. As I walked to my car, I advised another customer not to bother getting out of his car they are closed. He said they are open for another 15 minutes, apparently he didn't believe me and he walked up to the door. He was in disbelief, that they locked the doors early. In hind sight I should of driven to New Windsor store, I believe that part of good customer service, is to serve customers up until the time posted. Due to this experience, I will not shop at this store anymore.

Dustin was super helpful and fork lifted the chicken coop box weighing 500 pounds right into the back of my truck. Really positive experience, Dustin knew or looked up the answers to all my questions, and removed the security device the cashier forgot to remove.

Terrible customer service. When asked a question on how to ship to store, the "customer service representative" rolled her eyes at me. In the future I'll be taking my business to the Napanoch store where all the employees treat you with dignity and respect... and actually do their jobs.
