The highland pet resort is a great place to leave your fur baby while away.I left my golden retriever in there care and the staff went above and beyond to make my dog comfortable and help with his separation anxiety...and while away I got stuck with a canceled flight due to a hurricane and they accommodated my dog and were willing to make space for him until I was able to return. My golden came back a happy boy and was well taken care of! I will definitely use this doggy hotel again in the future!

We did a tour and booked for the summer. Facilities are clean. The staff seems friendly.. From what we see, it's a five star place for your pet. Will Update after our reservation.

We have always been really happy with the care our pup receives here. She goes to doggy daycare and has so much fun she needs a nap for the rest of the evening after we pick her up. We also have boarded her here for several years and always feel she is well taken care of. The owners and staff seem to genuinely care and love the animals. I would absolutely recommend giving this business a try.

Highland Pet Resort is the best kennel in the area. Our dogs LOVE going there and come home well taken care of, well loved and happy. Chris and the staff are courteous, flexible and helpful. One of our boys had mobility issues for a while a few years ago and they continue to check in when he’s there, take care to have him avoid stairs and let us know if anything happens. Our other gets anxious when away from us and is finicky when eating, so they literally feed him from their hand, one handful at a time. Can’t say enough good things about them, highly recommend!

We just used Renee and Chris's amazing facility last week for our furry child. It was his first boarding experience and super successful. His week stay long was completely worry free, as we had full trust in the owners and staff for their fantastic care of animals. So many of our friends here have raved about them. What a great service and wonderful addition to our town. Our dog was happy, rested, and well exercised throughout his stay. I felt like I was leaving him with family. Thanks you guys!

Very good place to go for pet boarding. We take our dogs here every year when we go to cape cod for 2 weeks. Very stress free taking the dogs here. The dogs are very happy with there stay here. They get a nice bath while staying here. The nice part is everything you bring with your animals you get back when picking them up. And the pets belongings are in good shape and not broken when you get them back

Always Welcoming to my pup, since he was a pup.😊 Stephanie is a great groomer with great customer service & pet skills. I was so grateful to Stephanie for helping me with my dog who has special needs. She was able to accommodate me in such a kind way and especially for barley. I can't wait to come back and get a guided tour through the resort. This is such a beautiful place! And the folks seem very humble, good to know for your pet!!!🐾🐾🐾

Highly recommend this place. Every single employee we met was so friendly. You could really tell that every one of them loved dogs and took great care your pet. The facilities were super clean and we loved that our dog had an outdoor/indoor area that they could move between at their leisure.

The best place EVER to board your animals! The owners and staff are enthusiastic, patient, and care for the animals they care for as a temporary "getaway" for your pet and owners. Clean, efficient, safe, knowledgeable, and courteous.

If you don’t have the perfect dog that does nothing but obey do not bring them to Highland Pet Resort. We have a small dog that weighs about 25 lbs wet and they made us pick him up after 2 hours as they couldn’t work with him, saying he was a threat to the staff. Told us that our dog was not socialized and could not come back. We were on vacation and couldn’t bring him with us so I called our vet to board him. When we picked him up I was so sure they would tell us he’s not allowed back but instead they said he was a pleasure to board and would take him back any time. And they are 1/2 the price.. be ware of this “pet resort” it’s not all that it’s written up to be! I don’t think they know anything about dogs.

First time we ever boarded our 2 dogs, was a bit nervous doing so. When we came to pick them up, both were extremely tired for the rest of the day and the next due to all the playing they did with other dogs. Only suggestion I would have and this was talked with with 1 of the owners was, some how have a way to check up on the pets you are boarding here. They said they dont do that so you can enjoy your vacation and not be worried. I'd suggest even if they posted pictures of the dogs on say their website page of them playing or something. Other than that I highly recommend this place

In April, we brought our 3 dogs to Highland pet resort ; from the first message all the way to check out everything went smoothly and professionally. The staff are knowledgeable and caring and helped the dogs feel at ease the very moment we walked in. Beautiful facility. Highly recommend.

My 12 yo pit lab mix Gracie has been going to the HighlandPet Resort since the day it opened. Renee, Chris and their staff are nothing short of amazing. Gracie has been boarded and day cared there and is treated like a princess. They treat Gracie like she is their own dog. They do the same with all the furbabies in their care. They know how to deal with all types of personalities. If they suggest your dog needs extra work on socialization understand that they are telling you this for your own good and the well being of your pet is their utmost concern. So, no Stephanie Mccrory, Renee did not kick your dog out for no good reason. A snapping and biting issue in a dog, no matter whether the dog is 10 lbs or 100 lbs is nothing to ignore.

Highland Pet Resort was WONDERFUL with my 2 bunnies. The owner and his wife and the receptionist were so nice and put us at ease. The place is so clean and welcoming! GREAT experience!! I'm a nervous pet owner so I asked a million questions, and Chris answered each one professionally and calmly. I didn't feel like a pain in the butt! Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and the staff allowed my dogs to get comfortable with the place before showing then their room. I called to check on my girls and was given a complete run down of their activities until that point. At pickup the service was equally as good. The staff assisted me with putting my girls and all of their belongings into my car. I cant say enough good things about our visit!

We had to do a last minute trip due to a death & have never boarded prior. We checked out a ton of places but felt so homey here that this is where our babies stayed along with one of our older dogs. Great people & they really took care of our babies.

These folks take wonderful care of my cats. They were able to administer Rx pain meds to one of my cats when I had to go out of town after the cat had a dental procedure. They also take great care of my 'fraidy cat, Leo, even though he is cantankerous. I appreciate their clean facilities and the care they take with the pets. I will continue to use them!

Our Haylee comes home happy each and every-time we board her. She gets excited when we enter Highland on gravel road like she knows she is going on a mini vacation but they will be back! We never worry about her & absolutely love Highland!

These guys are awesome. Took my dog my dog here for a week, came home super happy and tired. On the way out the door heard the staff say "I miss him already". They're good people, my dog would've let me know otherwise.

You have to make reservations well in advance. Drop off and pick up. My dogs loved the treatment. Bring your own food and medicines.
