The cashier was more than helpful and polite. I purchased 40 bags of mulch which I loaded myself while five young employees watched me. I shouldn't have had to ask for help.

Absolutely outstanding customer service from miss Wendy she was a absolute pleasure to a horrible day although I’m not sure which department she works generally she helped me in multiple areas she helped assured my materials my prices and my cash out experience she was the definition of a perfect employee 10/10 and as if that wasn’t enough I had to make a additional trip later on and she was still working with the same exact enthusiasm she left me with and then proceeded to go out of her way again to give me additional help if she didn’t have the answers (which she did ) she knew where to get the right ones she gives your Lowe’s a beautiful face of representation and I felt very comfortable and confident with her reassurance

Please train your staff on how to use Visa gift cards! I had $200 in Visa gift cards that no one could figure out how to enter. One lady couldn't be bothered, another gentleman was kind enough to try a dozen times. I walked out with nothing, went to another store and the visa gift cards worked no problem. It is an issue with your system, NOT the cards!

Placed an order online for washer and dryer. Received both but when I plugged in dryer the timer was broke and would not heat. Called to get it picked up. Suppose to be there Friday didn’t show up til Monday. They told me as soon as it got back to the store they would schedule another one. Called the store and nothing in the system. I am done with these big box stores, they don’t care about anyone’s needs! I will shop local store’s that care about there customers!

Quick stop at Lowe's today looking for some late summer color in the garden department. I found a nice selection of mums in many different sizes and colors. Lowe's employees have done a nice job tending to these plants as they looked healthy and vibrant. One rack of plants was being watered as I made my selection.Prices ranged from under $10 and up. I consider this quite reasonable for the season. Will make a return trip as summer draws to a close.

Lowes put in parking for veterans and then they don’t keep it accessible for veterans to use (photo attached.) I guess they really don’t care enough to retrieve the carts blocking the veterans parking. You would think a store this big could afford to send an employee to take care of this.

I purchased sheet vinyl flooring for $0.89 sf yesterday. It's remarkably easy to install and both lightweight and durable at about 1/4 pound per sf and just under 1.5 mm thickness. I love the result and you can't top the flooring departments great customer service.

My mother ordered a fridge. They brought the wrong one to her house. Broke her mailbox, scratched her door we return it, And canceled her order. She paid in cash and they refuse to give her money back they gave her a gift card After Arguing with them for weeks, they finally gave her money back. I would suggest going elsewhere for good service.

Lowe's just lost a customer. I tried to order something on line and then from the store for delivery to my home. I have done this in the past. I was told by the store I could only do this if I had a Lowe's credit card. My only option was to drive to the store to order in person if I wanted to use my own credit card. I will never shop there again

I called 3 times, finally some one answered with "hello" rather than a professional greeting. After explaining my difficulties, she transferred me to customer service who promptly picked up (I could hear people talking) and hung up! Needless to say, still haven't gotten my issue addressed. So much for Herkimer Lowes....and when I called the 800 number it said there was a 1+ hour wait!

The place is trashed, freight in the aisles, no carts to found, lumber that hasnt been on the rack for a week. Employees standing or walking in groups talking amongst themselves. Obviously the department managers need to walk around a bit more. The time i wasted i could have gone to utica home depot. Bet if i come in tomorrow the same rack of wood will still be empty

Garden area staff weren't listening. I asked for a small bag of organic fertilizer. I told the girl at the register that I had a bad back and hip and didn't want to walk all over looking for it. First she wanted me to follow her to the large bags along the fence. She started picking up a large bag of potting mix with fertilizer. I explained that I only wanted organic fertalizer in a small bag. I guy came out from the store to help. He said small bags were all the way in the back. He would rather I pick out what I wanted. We get thete and it's all grass seed mixes. I explained again and he started back to the front near the door into the store. That's where I found the small bags of organic fertilizer. Could have saved me a lot of walking on my bad hip and sore back. I was not happy.

I will NEVER purchase anything even small as a nail from this store in Herkimer and probably entire Lowes. I went to purchase kitchen cabinets, lady helping me was extremely nice while making the sale. After my cabinets arrived damaged and missing twice which delayed me from moving into my house, I politely asked that they return the cabinets. I was advised they could. I called back few days to follow up at which point I was advised that they would NOT take the return but are checking with manufacturer. I called back multiple times to follow up and each time my phone calls were dodged and phone calls were never returned. Very unprofessional! I ended up calling the manufacturer myself where I was advised they do not do returns from Lowes (no one advised me of this), but will gladly replace the broken cabinets. I understand damages and mistakes happen, my issue here is the lack of help I received from the staff at Lowes. So if you are looking for professionalism and assistance you will not find it here. Take your hard earned money somewhere else.

It advertised activities and I drove 1.25 hours (closest one to my house) only to have my son disappointed at flower choices and no activity to do. Thought they'd have something like build mom a bird house or something. Lol customer service was clueless and not helpful. I had to ask a customer where to get the "flower" from. So disappointed.

Had my second pick up today same associate as the pick up last week.Jacob loaded the 400 lbs (manure) one bag was ripped and he went and got a new one. Great guy your lucky to have such a good employee

I give a 5 star rating to troy that works at Lowes in Herkimer he helped us out with a mini bike. He lifted it up into the truck with my husband an did an excellent job.

I went to buy carpet that was on the shelf according to the website, it was not on the shelf but in the back. I was told they wouldn’t be able to get it for me because there was a lack of machine operators. More like a lack of ambition and poor work ethics. I kindly enough said I could pick it up the next day and I paid for it at that time. I told the “flooring specialist” that I would need it cut right at the 30’ mark or slightly larger and then he proceeded to tell me that he would cut it 6” over just to be sure I got 30’. I picked up the carpet and upon installation I found that he cut it 4” short!!!!!I called customer service and they told me that I could return it but would receive nothing for my time or gas. I’m left with nothing but disappointment and frustration. Now, I have to seem in a piece. My advice is to buy carpeting at a flooring store or anywhere but Lowe’s

Twice I've had a scheduled interview for two very different positions in different months and twice I've been stood up by management, former supervisors are shuffled and the floor staff is a revolving door of new faces minus the rare fixture of the higher up managers or retirees. Front end managers frequently do not know what is going on with hiring as the company has outsourced even scheduling of interviews to the website. Most likely in an attempt to avoid actually paying someone for the position as they did prior. The front end workers and seasoned supervisors are genuinely pleasant and a delight but upper management is absent at the best of times and often just hiding away in offices or arriving late with no coverage leaving the rank and file to pick up the slack and have no backup often under the excuse of the managers on duty conviently calling in sick, only notifying me afterwards to excuse their lack of coverage. I would have left this review on the Lowes survey site but the cashier manning the register by self checkouts program no longer generates a survey code, most likely to stop people from bring up these very issues.

Horrible to zero service on my LG washing machine and not even a recommendation for a repair man. Next time I buy an appliance it will from a local business that will at the least repair or recommend a repair person.

Employees are always so helpful and know exactly where everything is off the top of their head! I love being able to bring dogs in the store. One suggestion is to put all needed plumbing and hardware needed to install a water heater closer to the water heaters. It was a bit tricky to go to 5 different places for all needed supplies but not complaining... just suggesting :) even if it was a small amount of the actual items. It would be easier for customers buying and self installing :)
