Love this store, I worked here through my first few years of college. The people here are all locals who work very hard and do an amazing job with their everyday service. Dedicated to quality, customer experience, and cleanliness! Large store with great selection. Love their produce, bakery, deli, meat/seafood, and pharmacy. Plenty of carts available. Ample parking. Grocery pickup available. Open late. The only drawback is their prices. Certainly not the cheapest in the area.

Gotta know your prices. But sometimes they have some pretty good sales. Like that they keep certain things at the sale prices for a couple of weeks. Also like the selections.. can find things here you don't find other places.

I'm autistic as is my friend who just moved here. He loved the store because it's not brightly lit and the music wasn't loud. Very clean store, employees were very friendly. I usually shop at another store because I was told the prices were higher at Hannaford but that depends what you buy. We found specialty soap so much cheaper, coke was cheaper than anyone else and he found his favorite West coast brands there.

Hannaford is such a great place to shop and where I go for all of my grocery needs. I can always rely on Hannaford to have fresh ingredients and friendly service. The Herkimer, NY location is my favorite and time and time again they go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. No one like them in the business. I love supporting Hannaford.

Nice! Had some gluten free items, lots of variety but not as much for gluten free items. First time there thought it a bit expensive but staff was nice, store seemed clean. Produce nice.

I love coming to this location, always have great variety of goods. The produce and meat departments are great here and the self checkouts are really easy to use. The employees here are nice and friendly and the store is well kept. It’s honestly my favorite local grocery store.

Close to home. Very fresh fruit and vegetables. The deli has already sliced meats and cheeses available at a few different weights (1/4lb, 1/2lb, full lb usually) so you don't have to spend on line if you are getting something that is a common buy. They seem to always be putting fresh meat out wherever I'm there. Always clean and always a more pleasant shopping experience than going to the other "big box" store in town.

Their selection of vegan and gluten free products is phenomenal compared to other local grocers, I'd wager even better than Aldi. A little pricey, and getting certain sale items (namely meat, and they only get a dozen of the item in each day) is almost impossible unless you go first thing in the morning or call first thing and have them set some aside. That's the only reason I gave them 4 and not 5 stars. I wish they planned their stock ahead with the sales.

The thing I love about Hannafords is that you can find different kinds of food that you can't find in other stores. Their prices are ok. Their meat is great and the prices are better than Walmart! Can you believe that?! I'd rather eat meat that I know is fresh from their department. Their produce is also much fresher than anywhere else!

My choice for fresh foods in Herkimer, this is what a "super-market" should be. Deli, meat, fish, produce and bakery are superior to the large "super-store" alternative. Nice, courteous people help you with whatever you need and get you going on your way with a smile!

Its clean and the associates are very friendly and always available. The pharmacy staff is very polite as well. This store doesn't get very crowded even during busy times so its a great store to get your nessessities . They also offer many products that you nay have a hard time finding at other big box stores. The variety has always been my favorite aspect of this grocery store.

It is a pleasure shopping at the Herkimer Hannaford store. Never once have I had anything less than friendly service. The deli, meat, and fish departments always help with a smile and the check-out staff is top notch all the way. Thank you Hannaford!

It's not the W place which scores them an automatic 3 stars and their sales are pretty good. Local farm support is also a plus. Their sales are weaker than previously and the additional focus on order and pickup is done just as badly as all of the other places. For this they lose a star! Some good quick lunch ideas like snack pals and small hot chicken orders for cheap is a win!

Very nice grocery store, the clerks/managers are always helpful & give great customer service! This is my go to place for all my meats! The butchers are very helpful & good at what they do.. Love all the natural/organic products! You can find gourmet & unique items here as well! 👍💜😊

Typical grocery store. Clean, well lit, and well managed. Seafood and deli counters have good selection and good service. Meat counter is helpful for special cuts like prime rib.Never had a problem with dairy or other foods.Much better than Price Chopper in our area.

I love this store. They have the best deli selections as well as fresh hummus/tabouli and grape leaves that I always stock up on. Around here there aren't many stores that offer the option let alone the variety. While they have different brands and healthier options than Wal-Mart, I choose to shop here because of the overall attitude. About 4 years ago I began to lose the ability to walk. Gradual but the last 2 years I barely left the house to shop. Wal-Mart didn't care how much I suffered at the check-out but Hannaford, they helped me unload my cart if I needed it. If I couldn't lift a case of water while shopping, they would. I forgot butter and one time said it out loud, the man bagging groceries asked what kind I wanted and went to get it for me. No one does things like that anymore. The cashiers at Wal-Mart barely want to cash you out or bag your groceries.Even though prices are climbing, I'll pay the extra if I'm treated like a human being. I've had surgery and am on the mend but it's nice to go somewhere that the people remember you and while no one wants to be at work, they still put on a smile.

Their store-brand pizza is fantastic. I wish some of the products were a little cheaper. I want their products to be more affordable. It's overpriced. They have a better selection of produce than Walmart does. Their prices have really gone up like everywhere now day.

This has got to be the biggest Hannafords I have ever been to, and damn was it an amazing store! Because the store is huge, it has a lot more shelve room, thus, more choice of products! Everything was spaced out nicely so nothing gets overwhelmingly crowded, and it was quick to learn to navigate through the store for the first time. The prices were pretty good and we got some nice quality items here. It sucks that this is 40 minutes away from where I am, I would come here every day if I could.

A refreshing change from their local competitor, Walmart. Different atmosphere, much different clientele, etc... I'm sure you understand. The one difference that I don't care for is that their prices are higher, sometimes significantly so. Overall a good shopping experience, but a bit pricier.

This store has a fantastic selection of the freshest products in my area. The Hannaford rewards have only added to positive feelings i have for this place. Everything is easy to find and the shelves make sense unlike most stores. Whatever you can't find the employees are more than willing to help find it. Overall this place surpasses a five star rating to me.

Good assortment, nice sections of specialty and/or ethnic foods hard 2 find. Only ones who carry my pretzels. Always helpful & try 2 get anything they dont have that i want. I often order online & hubby pics up. Only once did they mess up & it was fixed immediately & we were given $25 gift card. Additionally the pharmacy is sweet & worked to get my $1003 medicine down to $194.06! Thnx guys!
