Pet Supplies Plus was awesome. I was caring for a tortoise for someone. As I was changing the night bulb to the day bulb I heard the bulb moving around inside the light. Me just thinking the bulb was loose and needed to be tightened shoved it back into the socket and watched it spark rendering the day bulb useless. I called to find out if the bulb was in stock and was inside the store to purchase it within 15 minutes. I was in and out in under 10 minutes.

This store is very convenient bec they are close by. I must say everyone is always friendly and helpful. The cashiers have even offered to help carry my bags to the car! Nice

We get all of our favorite pet supplies from here! The deals alone are enough to get us in the door every time. They also have lots of brands that other pet stores don’t. I haven’t tried their self wash station yet, but it’s good to know it’s there!

I was there after work today with my little girl Raven 🐶 to get her fitted for a new body harness and staff member, Alex assisted me and helped me pick one that fitted her just right. He literally sat on the floor and adjusted it to fit her just like a glove using his hands ✋️to check how tight it fitted for her comfortable walks. A big 2 thumbs up for Alex and the rest of the staff. This is great customer service as I've been experiencing for years and years. Thank you all , stay healthy and safe .

Pet Supplies Plus very professional and gracious to assist you. I brought my pets to get a haircut, and the ladies gave my pets the haircut l requested. Also, staff was really helpful in getting a leach and collar for my dogs. With two dogs, l was not able to do it alone. The groomer did an excellent job, and staff was really helpful as well 👍

The West Hempstead store has a wonderful team of workers. The are courteous, knowledgeable and very willing to assist. Cat food selection is wide and varied. I would love to see small size bags of dry cat food made available, 9 lbs and up lasts too long if you have only 1 pet. Highly recommend 5his store.

The manager was very rude & nasty. she told us “ you know you only have 30 minutes for the dog wash right?” cut off the time while my dog was still wet knowing well he’s a thick hair breed. The employees were amazing but definitely will not come back here even though it’s less than 5 minutes from my home. The Howard Beach location is 10x better, cleaner easier to handle with the automatic water spray & the employees the managers are amazingly nice & very helpful. Always come and check in if we need anything & always give me doggos treats.

Used to the self-serve pet wash for the first time. The pet wash station was clean. They had everything conveniently on hand to give your pet a bath, soap, towels and dryer included. The employees were very helpful and friendly. My 80 pound Labrador enjoyed the experience and I enjoyed his fresh smell.

Very nice used the self service dog was stations. It was great. Could use a larger selection of shampoos and conditioners, example #1 shampoo for white fur, #2 separate conditioners. Will be back soon!Staff very helpful

Animals are in poor conditions, fish are sick filled with fungal infections and ich. Asked the manager closing at this location if I can buy one of the goldfish and take it home with me so I can treat it since I have experience with fish and know how to treat sick fish, She gave me a disgusting attitude and said no I can’t sell you a sick fish. Even though all the damn fish at that location were clearly sick. Disgusting customer service, not returning to this location ever again. Btw manager was a Hispanic older lady like in her late 40s. Do better Pet Supplies Plus, hire nicer people.

I would like to start off by saying I came in the store to get something for my pet and I was Instantly greeted by Melissa. Thumbs up to her for customer service. She was very knowledgeable and very helpful when it came to addressing my all my concerns. Melissa went a step further to take her time out to address all my concerns and I appreciate that as Melissa was helping me with the chosen products. Alexa decides to walk over and interrupt Melissa’s conversation with me as if though I was taking too long which I literally only took five minutes due to Melissa’s great customer service and her knowledge on the stores products. I give Alexa not even a one for customer service if I could give her -0 that’s what I would give her for customer service for Melissa I would definitely give her a thumbs up and 10 stars all day there was another thing that I didn’t like that Alexa did and I walked away she was whispering to Melissa about something I come to this pet supply store all the time but I will no longer come here if I’m going to get bad customer service by Alexa.
