This type of supermarket is good for some people, but not my kind of spot; only went for steaks cause I was right there and my friend got great steaks from there awhile ago. I don't know what happened, but steaks weren't great and were pricey...I only got them cause it was my sister's birthday. I'll stick with my ShopRite; much better meat selection, prices and parking!

My dad went shopping for a few things and in the process buys some Italian sausage Teresa's or deans to make. What a horrible product how could this even be sold? No taste and the texture lawd!! Throw that out!!

love the store but one of the workers verbally tried to threaten today. As I’m checking out my daughter leaves to put the stuff in the car and I’m still bagging the groceries this worker approaches me and tell me i need “ To hold on to my daughters hand tight or else “ my daughter is 21 years old a young lady i felt Very shaken by this and my daughter was inside store to be there for the situation what was he trying to initiate by saying that ? After i tell My daughter the situation she told me that there was a worker looking at her very much weird and making her uncomfortable. Im sick never won’t go back again due to this experience

It has products that can help Caribbean people and Latinos create the meals they enjoyed in their native countries. The prices are reasonable too. Make sure to check out their fruit section. They have some exotic fruits that you don't readily find elsewhere.

Very convenient location, and they have a nice array of products at a very good price. Their sales/discounts make it worth a visit as well as the quality of their prepared foods. All cashiers are professional and courteous too. Definitely my go-to supermarket for anything I'm short on.

I love this small supermarket. Their produce is always fresh and they have some speciality items the supermarket doesn’t always carry. Also, they carry a lot of cultural foods. It warms my heart that they cater to the people around them. It’s also extremely helpful when I need to grab something but don’t have time to go across town to a West Indian supermarket. The staff is also very helpful. If you’re looking for something you don’t have to waste the time going just to find out they do or don’t have it. With a quick call they will look for you and let you know. This food town has the old town mom and pop store feel but with everything you need. I wasn’t super excited when this replaced CVS but having them here is great and I hope they stay. Back when it was associated it was very different. Not sure if the management changed when the name did, if so it’s an appreciated change.

Best variety for the people of Hempstead. All the stuff we like not the best stuff but it's what we like here. Clean. Decent prices. Usually cheaper than the store down the street East of them this place has more storage capacity there for cheaper prices than competitor. Dear lady behind the small customer service desk. Below the office. Everybody nice and sometimes they say hello first . bathroom downstairs in basement

Very nice small supermarket , 3 blocks from my house. The seafood department is good and the prices are too. Near is good, but more expensive cuts may not be carried. Store is always very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.

I have to say worst supermarket I have ever been to. The staff is slow, the managers take a long time to help you with an issue, and the food is mostly moldy or just not good. The fruits have bruises. And not to mention how pricey everything is. The only good thing is the fish market. (And even that has issues) I would not recommend it to anyone, go to another supermarket instead.

The aisles are a bit narrow but they have managed to pack a large inventory in their store. I would like to see more selections but then again, I was shopping outside of my neighborhood. The meats are overpriced for the size of the cuts. Overall, I would return.

Good selection of products but it can be a little pricey sometimes. Try and shop during non peak hours, the store and the parking lot are not big and when it gets crowded it can be frustrating to navigate

So here I am at the foodtown. The circulars that get mailed from this store has sale items. Ever since the quarenteen now they are not honoring it but they are still mailing it. Stop and shop mails it and honors it best market mails it and honors it. dont mail it if u wont honor it. Even the foodtown in queens village maiks it and honors it This local supermarket is honestly just taking advantage. Their shelves are FULLY STOCKED. so delivery isnt the problem
