If I could give negative stars I would Family Dollar management team seriously needs to look in the how these employees run the store there have been multiple times ive come to the Hempstead store thats 215 FRONT ST. HEMPSTEAD N.Y TO BE EXACT at 930pm and the store is closed and locked with the employees behind the register playing on thier phones store signs say open until 10pm unfair to customers the shelves are always empty customer service is terrible if you don't like your job quit instead of treating customer like we bother you as a employee if we need help in your store how are we supposed to have help if the employees are nasty and have attitude

I give this location of 4 out of 5. , Isles are clean shelves appear stocked. handicap accessible. No restrooms available. Employees are kind and friendly.

Bad customer service the staff have a bad attitude so rude, they don't help people with prices. The assistant manager give a bad attitude they are there to help people not to be rude. The girl who was on the counter said something really rude on front on me and other customer, lazy workers.

My experience at EVERY Family Dollar I’ve been to has ALWAYS been pleasant!!! I’ve NEVER met ANY of the EMPLOYEES who displayed a nasty attitude & whenever I’ve asked any questions pertaining to the store I’ve always received a pleasant & informative reply!!!! The only complaint that I have is that sometimes there’re certain products (like Chapstick) that’s not in stock, but other than that FAMILY DOLLAR 💵 IS A GREAT PLACE TO SHOP!!!! Bravo 🙌🏽 👏🏽 & 2 thumbs up! 👍🏽 👍🏽

Staff is always friendly. Store may sometimes be a bit messy but definitely one of the most organized family dollar stores I've visited. Prices are reasonable. If your looking for a last minute item with no time to go to walmart this is the place to go

This location never opens on time. It's convenient before I go to work at 9am but here we go again It's 8:53am and the store isn't open. A man in his pick up truck left. I'm going to do the same. Thank Goodness my job is only 5 minutes away. Let's do better!!!

Bad customer service experience from multiple employees. Witnessed terrible attitude not just to me but to several customers. Please have the correct prices on items. You can't expect a customer to pay more than what is CLEARLY labeled. Honor the prices that you are advertising....

They dont have any shopping carts which was inconvenient. However a very lovely young lady with pink hair helped me carry my 2 baskets to the register.

i personally don't like some of the staff because I'm a teenager of course I'm gonna ask where the stuff are. But if your gonna stare me down and make it seem like I'm doing something wrong and then laugh abt it with your coworkers very childish i try to avoid going there all the time

I cant help but notice that I haven't seen a manager respond to any reviews, which clearly speaks volumes. I guess there is no sense in complaining its obvious your customers dont matter smh

Great turn around. Under the new management of Chris. Personable guy, keeps store clean and make sure people aren't stealing. The area sucks but the store is great now.

Thankfully Family Dollar built that pretty building on the site of an eyesore. It made the area look nice while employing very nice, helpful people at a great price
