The pizza was nothing short of exquisite. The crust was nice and crispy, the sauce was perfect, blending the amount of cheese and other toppings perfectly. The staff was also very nice and friendly. Such a good choice for local pizza, and the view is beautiful!

Scale House has a great location and solid beer options. We enjoyed the bowl of meatballs and buffalo chicken pizza out on the deck with our dogs. The meatballs were recommended by family who live in the area and were worth the trip alone. We cannot express enough how friendly and welcoming the staff was to us and our dogs. Overall a great stop along the lake and we will definitely be back.

My wife & I were visiting the Finger Lakes region by Lake Seneca. On one of trips to one of the many wonderful wineries, we an across Scale House. Such a great find.It is super clean. Great atmosphere. Plenty of seating. Plenty of parking outside.Jenn (our bartender) and her husband (the cook) are the owners. Jenn was a hoot! She will entertain you. If you are not sure about what craft beers to choose that they offer, she will pick them out for you. And she does a great job at it!!!I ended up taking home a four pack of their Peanut Butter Stout. Outstanding!! Not sweet. Just the right hint of peanut butter. The other beers in the flight I got were really good too.The pizza is awesome. My wife got the plain. I got the Pickle Rick. DELICIOUS!!! Wish they had this where I live!If you are in the area, give them a try. You will not be disappointed!!

Most enjoyable. We ordered the hot honey pizza which was excellent and flights and also one of the sours. Our waiter was excellent and very informative. The patrons were very friendly and gave some interesting information to us about the toppings on the pizza. We will definitely be returning, hopefully soon.

The pizza was delicious! We ordered takeout after a long day of travel. The place was packed for live music. My wife and I got two personal pizzas and that was enough for us. Looking forward to going back and trying the beer and more pizza.

Always a wonderful time at Scale House! They are one of our go-to places for dinner and drinks in the Finger Lakes. Their pizza and beer selection is amazing and delicious! We recently had a birthday party there and they let us decorate the table with our own table cloths, plates and napkins. They were truly accommodating and welcoming. We love it here! Thank you for being family friendly, kind and all-around amazing!!

We had an absolutely wonderful lunch here after hiking Watkins Glen in the morning. An antipasto and caprese salad to start. Their balsamic reduction was magical! Followed with a chicken quesadiila and meatball tunnel. The meatballs inside were maybe the best I ever had. Very much enjoyed their hazy IPA, and Hefeweisan in house brews as well. Highly recommended.

Food is absolutely amazing. We had the meatball tunnel & a pepperoni pizza. Extremely fair priced and delicious. My only complaint is the staff isnt very friendly and welcoming, they seemed very judgy. Please inform your staff to be a little more aware that customers notice their behaviors. Thank you!

Awesome brewery offering a vast variety of local wines and beers. They have a large outdoor area for live music and views of the lake. There is an upper deck to sit outside and a large air conditioned inside full of polite staff.

Great beer and great pizza. The cream ale and Kolsch are fantastic. The pizza was great as well. Service was spot on. Drinks and food came out fast and hot. It was busy at 2pm on a Sunday in winter which says a lot. I’d definitely come back.

Cool spot to hit up if visiting the Finger Lakes. The beer was pretty good, but the food is the star of the brewery. Not sure if it was more so because my bf and I already had a few drinks in us ha!Ordered:1) couple of meatballs - really tasty!2) bbq chicken & bacon (with banana peppers) pizza - phenomenal!3) broccoli & feta pizza (sub feta with mozz cheese and added bacon) - also amazing!4) cannoli - not the best, but not the worstDefinitely worth the visit! Will most definitely come back!

Update : Had to drop some stars due to deteriorated service. We were dining in and had to keep going to the bar to ask for stuff. Our server wouldn't quite come check on us for any additional needs. Felt like a semi-self service place. Also, she wasn't quite hospitable like other servers there. (We will still keep visiting them as one bad exp shouldn't be a deal breaker).Their pizza is too good, nice & heavy. Soft, n buttery. Check out for happy hour offers. A great place for good food, drinks & a nice time with friends & family.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this place. Coming from NYC, we are very picky about pizza and were not expecting much, but wow. Not only was it our favorite brewery/beer in the area, but the pizza was delicious! Get the Pickle Rickle....trust me, it sounds weird, but its awesome. Highly recommend this place as a stop for some beers and dinner on their back porch. Also, the live music was a nice touch.

EXCELLENT STOP! We stopped at Scale House to end our tour of the area with dinner. The beers were good, and the food was the perfect ending to our day. Our server Steve was great. Scale House is open later than most area businesses, so we thought it was the perfect last stop. Highly recommended.

The food is perfect as always, beer is good, and service is great! But why when there is live music here does it have to be so loud that you can't carry on a conversation at your table without shouting at each other?????? It would be 5 stars here if not for that. Seriously we can hear your music just fine even if you turn it down to half the volume, music should be a nice background sound, not the center of attention that causes everyone to shout. Owners please say something to the musicians to keep their music and a more enjoyable level!

Wow, what a great lttle brewery. Deanna, our server, made lunch a blast. She brought samples of three or four different tap beers.We ordered a calzone, and it came out so big four people couldn't eat it. Personal pan pizzas were 12" wide.Brewery over looks the Lake and the scenery beyond. Just a great place to enjoy a brew and great food.Don't miss this place if you're in Watkins Glenn.

Scale House Brewery offers a nice selection of brews and some excellent food, which really hit the spot after an afternoon on the Seneca Wine Trail. The location does get busy, but the staff was pleasant & efficient. They did have live music the day we were there. The patio is dog friendly for those who have pets.The Meatball tunnel sandwich was very filling! The salad was good too. We will return to dine and grab some drinks the next time we are in the area.UPDATE. We stopped back and this time enjoyed a quality pizza and cold beverages. The Albany seltzers were really good. Nice views, cornhole games etc.

Uhhhh. YUP!!!!! Loved this place. After a less than stellar welcome from a whinery down the road (yes, I spelled it like that on purpose) we were thrilled with this place. The beers were amazing and the pizza was just as good.We were a group of five couples and from the moment we walked in the door, we were made to feel welcome.It was a nice sunny day in November and we asked to be seated on the deck. Normally, this late in the season, they done serve out there but our server said to go ahead, she'll be happy to serve us today.My wife and I had the allllll dressed (9 ingredients) pizza and it was great. Dough was great, the ingredients were too and it was cooked well and served hot. Pretty good for four large pizzas to come out within moments of each other and all be hot.Everyone enjoyed their beers so they are doing something right in that aspect as well.Service was fast, pleasant and accurate. I would be very happy to recommend this place for pizza, beer or both.

The best pizza in the area to soak up the booze while winery/brewery hopping. We had the chicken bacon ranch and a quesadilla. Also had a tasty peanut butter stout! Sit out on the balcony and enjoy the view of the lake!

Not only was the service impeccable, but the food was amazing! As we were walking in I caught a whiff of a pizza someone was carrying out past us, it smelled so fantastic, we decided to get one! My husband tried a few different beers not available near us, and was very happy with the choices! I had to try the caprese salad, the presentation was so beautiful! It came with a side of delicious olive oil, a great addition I've never seen before, and much appreciated! The basil was possibly the best I'd ever had! The combination of that delicious olive oil, the thick balsamic, and the basil with the fresh mozzarella and thick cut slices of huge beautiful tomatoes were just perfect! I hope to get there again before we leave, great reason to come back for a visit next year!!

Garlic cheese pizza was the best i have ever had. Perfect crusts and not greasy. They served us gladly even though we got there at 9pm. Music on the lawn was wonderful and they also kept playing for us. A couple of games of cornhole were on the lawn to play. Would highly recommend.

Great beer, delicious food. We stopped for lunch off season on a Saturday and the place was packed and after trying their beer and pizza I can understand why. Flights available, I reluctantly tried the peanut butter stout and it was delicious. Nice menu section besides pizza, the meatballs looked huge and amazing. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the beer styles.

Loved our experience here. Waitress was friendly. We say on the patio and the view was just incredible. Pizza and salad were great. Good beer sampling and I got a nice glass of the Damiani MC2 red wine.

This is a must visit place. Super friendly stuff, amazing pizza, salads and drinks. View is beautiful, we couldn’t help it and came back to the place for the second night while visiting the area.
