My group of 4 and I arrived for my birthday celebration at promptly 4:30pm. We had a busy day and this was the earliest we could arrive. I was SO excited for a tasting since I am infamous for loving penguins and wine, but we were refused a tasting and was only offered a single glass of wine for the same price as a tasting. Only my dad and I wanted to taste. This obviously did NOT help me choose what I wanted to buy. The staff was not friendly and quite snarky. Sadly, we left without a single bottle but went down the street for a much better experience. The other winery was closing in soon as well, but they gave us a tasting and even let us in to buy a bottle after they had closed. Don’t waste your time here.

Incredibly rude staff. They stop tasting around 4:30 pm and unbeknownst to us, we reached there around 4:35. People before us in the line got served and we were shot down rudely and without any concern. Unprofessional and disgusting behavior. Just like their staff, their wine has no style or substance. I would recommend any other place in NY state but this.

You won’t regret stopping here. We had the sweet flight and shared.nice size samples. We walked out with one of each and a few doubles. I however don’t like sparkling wine but that’s a personal preference. Finger lakes has so many wineries this is one I wouldn’t skip. Friendly hostess and clean environment with a few gifts on the shelves.

Just arrived on a Sunday during a holiday weekend. Only one employee to handle the front of the place and do the tastings. We’ve been waiting since we paid up front for our serving while he checks other parties in and out. No idea about the quality of the wine yet but at this point it really doesn’t matter.There is a beautiful view of the vineyard and lake but no direct access from the building to the seating area outside to enjoy it without having to go out front and walk around the building.Just not very well thought out IMO.

Place closes at 4:30.. dont go after 4. Of all the places I visited, this was the least friendly. Trying to visit the smaller wineries to give them business. Stopped by on Saturday at 4:30 and the told us the couldn't do tasting or help us even though place was empty. Sign says they close at 5. So we decided to go back on Sunday at 4. The lady working got flustered. Couldn't ring up purchases or the tasting.. took her 30+ min.. was 4:45 before getting out flight, never told us about the wine then came back 5 min later and told us we needed to finish them now because she was closing. Don't recommend to anyone!!

Penguin themed wineries are so fun! Love their sweet wines. Not usually to crowded when we get there but love to spend some time here. The views of the lake are great and the wines complement it very well. The ice wines are super delicious!

Ugh. Just ugh. We were on a wine trip during covid-19, there's 8 of us all wearing masks. We call ahead weeks ago to confirm we're allowed to go, they say yes as long as you split into 2 groups of four, thats perfect. We get there and are told we can't do a tasting even though we called ahead AND we could have sat outside. Makes no sense and the lady greeting us was so rude, not friendly at all. We bought wine anyway because we had been there before and while buying the wine she didn't answer questions and ignored us. A child would give you better service.

I tasted their three dry red wines, and then a mix of other wines. They have a very wide selection of wines to taste from, and their wines are very good. They have a view of the lake from the tasting room, and a better view from their outside seating area. Our server was very knowledgeable about their wines. A portion of the wine sales go towards the Humbolt Penguin Exhibit at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo.

We stopped at 4:30, venue closes at 5. Woman working told us tastings stopped at 4:30. We asked if we could purchase a glass of wine and were reminded that they closed at 5, 30 min later. Clearly she was ready to go home. She was not friendly and welcoming. Too bad. We would have purchased wine!!

Really rude to my party. we called ahead and reserve our spots to make sure we were in accordance with covid protocols, then we were refused survice once we got there with the only explanation being the person we spoke too shouldn't have said that and then we were told to leave with no effort to accommodate our party even though we were told there were avalible spots at the time we arrived. Truly disappointed with the service and while I understand the need to limit your service it could have been done in a much more respectable way. Truly disappointed and honestly upset with how we were treated

This was my favorite winery I went to on my tour! The flights are cheap, as well as the bottles. They have a sweet wine flight to try and it was delicious! The best part is part of their wine proceeds are donated to a local penguin zoo!

During tastings, Older gentleman was awful and rude, younger gentleman was very nice. Wines were good but the dude was so rude and impatient meanwhile there was no one else there and he had no reason to rush us. I've worked in service for four years and I'm very sympathetic but that's no way to get returning customers it was a bad experience because of him.

Good wine, nice service. NOT APPRECIATIVE OF MILITARY AND VETERANS! 13 VISITS to Seneca and Cyuaga lakes wineries, first one with no nominal discount for those who protect their liberties and put life on the line so they have the right to say no thanks. Was ready to purchase 100 bucks or so, but will NOT PATRONIZE THIS UNGRATEFUL BUSINESS! Too many others to get our wine business for the rest of our vacation.Now 16 and counting with this one only UNGRATEFUL American owners....

will start by saying the only reason i looked at this place....the name..i am a penguin freak..lol..with that said...what a surprise place..a dark horse of the dozens of wineries in the area..this place offers some dam tasty wines.! first up, my favorite of theirs, the Riesling.! love this grape and what these folks do to it.! the blend is awesome!..next up, Surfside Chardonnay...nice and smooth with a nice finish..the Valuin Muscat is good.and the other one i liked was the Percussion..a nice semi dry table wine that goes great with things you wouldn't think so much to pair it with food wise...check this place out...i even bought a bar of the wine soap, yes, wine soap....

Very rude person greeted us on 9/13. Both us (party of 4) and the people behind us (party of 4) both left very disappointed. Only 1 person was working dirty glasses all around us, will not go back. Customer service these days are most important and they get a F today. Sorry, just stating the facts

Went into the back room with a group and was told we couldnt be there without permission. Went we went to the front they had no clue. We left. The other wineries are much better...so far....
