There is a young man at the service who is hard to deal with when returning or any issue even a rain check, he is there most days unfortunately. The variety on pet food not great. A lot of times when something's on sale - no stock. They do have good sales. I think the quality is better at North shore farms. Would like to see more humanely raised products.

Be prepared to encounter the most miserable employees ever, especially the cashiers. The receipt was printing extremely broken up and light, I mentioned this to the curmudgeon cashier I had..he snapped back “not my problem.” Also, this store relies a lot on self checkout and needs to have more registers open as the lines run into aisles which is annoying and dangerous for shoppers.

Cashiers are very rude to customers. Staff speak their mind to customers without politely asking if they can be helped. Around the bottle and soda dispensers during the summertime it gets so unhygienic because of the stickiness of the soda smell it causes a horrible odor. Not to mention the garbage on the outside most if not all of the time gets filled to the rim! The other thing is that they don't keep their toilets in the bathrooms clean as wellIf

Well I use to work here a year about 6 months ago ( Deli clerk ) & I got fired for telling the so call owner I had a problem with a co worker who was an older gentleman & that same owner told me I was terminated because the guy was feared for his life remind you I had a second job and the argument was why I'm always 10 mins late but they knew at hiring I needed my schedule changed well long story short I walked out angry telling the owner and supervisors this place is going to a dump & look how God works a bunch of 1 stars at least when I was there there was nothing less than a 4 & I was there for a month glad I left tho cuh behind that deli is dirty 😂 give it another year you guys will shut down 💯

This store didnt have what I need as far as fruits and meats and diary free items . I wanted to make a complainant to the store manager about the restroom situation that's out of order and never repair I have to go to the store next door to use the restroom. Plus the store manager was nasty I wont shop there again unless I have to change my bottles.

I interacted with 3 employees.First one was around 1020PM I had my cart in the produce department. And I was rifling thru the freezer bakery area so they couldn't see me.Saw some guy taking my stuff out the cart and when I rushed back over he apologized immensely saying he works for shoprite and his shift is ended. He's leaving for the night and they Make him clear any stray Carts?...Safe to say that left me super confused since the cart was pretty full... whatvis that about shoprite? The employee was clocked and he was supposed go go collect carts? I watched him leave the store after that..2nd interacting was a man doing stocking. They were completely out of Purelife water cause of the sale 3x 10 : which for me in NY comes out to 13.50 after bottle deposit. I got 3x Purelife x24 pks and x3 Bowl and basket Spring waters also 3x10. Total came to 26.99 for those 6 cases. 7 in bottle deposit. I asked the man if there was any more and he kindly directed to the back of the store where they're was pallets stacked with them!The reason I laid out the pricing as well is because alot of the pricing was off. The things with signs up like Boars head hummus on sale for 2.99.. wasn't. And the poor cashier...It was the end of the night they close at 11.I made it over to the checkout by 10:20PMAnd they had no cashiers only the self checkouts were open. And ONE person helping with any issues. This poor guy had to deal with irate and customers feeling rushed and everyone's getting frustrated because the system is messed up. The pricing is messed up. The weight system with the bagging.. every 5 seconds a new problem would come up and you could cut the tension with a knife...If your gonna only have self checkout use that for the people with few items and have at LEAST one register with cashier open for people with 10+ items . I had to move all 6 cases onto the scale and then move them back. Before continuing because it got too heavy.. if you hit skip bagging then the while thing gets messed up again.. the system for self checkout is horrible honestly.1. After 10PM if you wanna get people out the store you gotta have at least one cashier open.2. It's unfair to customers to wait on a huge line at the end of the night and rush them out when they only have 1 or 2 items.. I let the couple behind me go ahead for that reason.3. If your gonna put signs up and promote sales for items Actually have them registered in the system! I had to get help with pricing like 6 times before I just gave up and tried to get out of their cause the line was ridiculous. And I felt horrible.4. Have more then just one person helping 4 different self checkouts. Cause when he's helping one person now you got a line and 3 other people all waiting on them for help.

UPDATE: (3/5/24)Store is run well and is fairly clean. Deli service has improved as of late. Raising to 3 stars.Awful deli dept. Maybe some nice deli staff, but horribly run. Online orders are supposed to be a convenience, but it's pot-luck if your order will be ready or even the correct items/quantities.You pay extra for deli cut meats. You should get served properly.

Yet another waste of time standing in long line because they rarely have an express lane open. Received a generic "we'll be sharing your message with our managment team" response two years ago. No change in that time, I just hit the end of my patience again. Self checkout is long lines,very slow and not limited to small orders. Quite annoying experience. I live close by so this store is convenient, yet this situation negates all the convenience, time to start shopping else where!

Most ShopRite so very similar with subtle differences that we could pick a part but in truth, this location is clean in the pretty well organized always stocked with food. I’ve never had a problem getting what I need you’ll read there are some people upset because they got the wrong item I’ve never done delivery, but would recommend them there prices are fair good place to shop in truth I go there because it’s located very close to me. Button go in there over 10 years, not regulated by Schappert on the supermarket too. I have never had a problem find a place to always be clean in the employees to always be respectable.

This store needs to open more registers and stop relying on self checkout. Am I on payroll? Do I get paid to use the register?The self checkoot registers are slow, often dont work and don't have enough space for large orders that are frequent for a supermarket.Stop being cheap and get some employees!

I was in town for a funeral and needed to stop and buy baby food for my daughter at 8:45 AM. My total check came to $13, and I realized that scanning a frequent shopper card would save me $2. The lady next to me at self-checkout offered to scan her card for me, but just before doing it, a ShopRite manager sprinted over and reprimanded both of us. “You are not allowed to share cards!” No offer to sign me up for a frequent shopper card…but thankfully, disaster had been averted, as ShopRite would have lost out on $2 profit. I will definitely sleep better tonight knowing the local Shop Rite is being guarded by this watchful protector…she is the hero we all need

I have been shopping here for a while now. They are very close to my house so it is convenient for me. They are very helpful when you are shopping inside. They usually are very well stocked for groceries and have good fresh food. The only complaint I have is there are never enough cashiers on duty so the checkout time can take a little while. But overall, they are a good grocery store

I must say the level of customer service here is lower than any surrounding market. I saw a girl blatantly say there isn’t a sale for cereal when the aisle adjacent literally has the sale listed. The only reason I didn’t give it 1 star is because I like the deli and produce sections as well as the pharmacy. They need either better training or new staff entirely. I didn’t even have a negative experience personally but every time I come in, a different customer is having an issue.

First, how does this store get 4 stars when half the reviews are 1 star. Weird math!Last Fri I had an issue with digital coupons. Went back on this Mon hoping for credit. Nope! To get credit I would have had to return on Sat. Ok, went shopping yesterday (Fri) bought Essential spices on sale for one dollar each, excluding organic. All located in same bin. Two of 5 did not register sale price. Returned today (Sat) asked Courtesy (Janssen son I believe) for price adjustment. He told me: he didn't why they didn't come up correctly, he knows nothing about spices, he would not credit the difference, would only accept return and refund. Got a refund of $5.28. It's always some lame excuse with this store, which is why I only pick up their sale items, when they're actually in stock. Do my bulk shopping elsewhere.

My blood pressure goes up the moment I pull into the parking lot. Carts all over the place, taking up parking spots, and when you walk up to the front sidewalk, you must test out four carts before you find one that doesn’t have a broken wheel.Deli department is a disgrace, constant long lines, with seven unshowered clerks behind the counter and just two of them will wait on customers. The grocery signage is atrocious. I never know what’s on sale as the signs are too confusing, and good luck trying to figure out which bread is on sale! When walking the isles, the mini floor displays block two customers from trying to pass one another, get rid of them!There are too few cashiers and the lines to check out is abominable. After ringing up and checking your receipt you notice the usual mistake in the store’s favor, so off to another line to get it adjusted- the dreadful courteous desk! You always get stuck behind some loser buying 46 lottery tickets. Then when it’s your turn it’s service with an attitude. I have never seen such rudeness even coming from the owners.What ever happened to the customer is always right? I guess Shoprite boot camp teaches otherwise. I have been a loyal customer since they opened (20 plus years). I think it’s time to make the switch to Stop n Shop!

I wish I could give this place zero stars. My husband waited outside for 2 hours for his pick up/curbside order. Multiple people telling him it would come but nothing came. I called and was on the phone for almost an hour waiting for a manager only to get hung up on twice. No one here is helpful. They did literally nothing for the wait except bring on more aggravation and frustrated. I would never recommend or go to this location again. Long wait times with no prior notice and you just get hung up on waiting for a manager. We need a discount on our order. This is ridiculous.

Allowed me to walk around shopping for 45+ minutes with no mask ( which was wonderful) then when it finally came down to me checking out and paying… a rude worker said i can’t pay without a mask. I understood completely, apologized and asked if she had one or could provide me with one due to me being caught off guard and not having one. ( this was the first store I’ve been in that was requiring one so i did not have one on me) the women then began to flip out and said she refused to provide me with one and that it’s not her job to. I was not able to bring food home and feed my family because this women then told me i had to go get one and i did not have one so i left my cart full of food and walked out. Shoprite do better if you are forcing us to wear masks then please provide them

The checkout lines were long but the shelves were stocked well. The 5 star came from our cashier. He had the best energy. He was so friendly. I wish I got his name so I could shout his out personally. I even commented on how awesome I thought he was. My parents love this pastry called bowties made specifically in this SR bakery. Mom purchased 3 packages. She stated they were hard and was dissappointed.

I have received many delivery orders,and almost always have a issue either overcharged, wrong item,or missing item. I have called the store and customer service practically accuses me of lying. 800 number is slightly better

This grocery store has excellent prices on most items. It is well organized - I was able to find the exact items I stopped in for with no issues. The staff that I encountered was friendly and helpful. I also saw a sign outside in the parking lot that said that you can pick up groceries after shopping from home, though I have not tried to do so myself. All in all, great shopping experience. Highly recommended.

While this store has great prices, the managers here are awful. The crazy up front manager Rose yells, belittles and orders the cashiers around like they're second class citizens. She talks down to customers and argues over coupons which are valid. She's very sarcastic and loud. In her defense I think she has some sort of mental disability. She's very odd looking and sounding. There's not one time I've been in this store that I haven't seen her "acting out". I've actually called the store to complain about her and often times I heard people complaining about her but all these years later she's still there acting the same way. Also, the deli line is so long and slow I won't buy my cold cuts there. Overall the store is just average. They do have good sales.

I like the selection of food. The layout of the store is extremely confusing. I felt like I was in a maze. I think the fact that literally every other grocery store will put in a store card for you if you do not have one, (if you even need one at all to get the sales prices) but ShopRite will not. Instead, after completely ringing up the order they will tell you that you could have gone to the service desk to get a card if you wanted the sale prices. Um okay. OR you could just put in a card for me like every other grocery store ever.My cashier was a snot. Her attitude is the reason I personally will not return. The store policy of not using a store card for anyone, is simply to rip people off. Your store does not need my name, phone number, address, or email. I should not need to "sign up" for sales. With that- I also will not send my instacart shoppers there.

They suck!!!! Shopped there then ate at Paces next door and they had my car towed. They actually had people waiting for me in a car in the parking lot to tow my car after I shopped there. What a friendly establishment. Evil, nasty family. I live in town and should be able to park and eat where I shop. Didn’t see their pathetic, unfriendly sign that tells you not to park in the empty lot. REALLY???? I will never shop there again! Not friendly to towns people. And.... they yell at their employees. 🖕🏻
