GREAT WALGREENS!! I solely go to this Walgreens location for many reasons!! I always get great customer service here, and the workers are always helpful and pleasant! I love the photo lab and my prescriptions are always accurate and ready on time!! If I can't find a specific item, the warm and friendly staff are always there to help me out!! I LOVE the WALGREENS Commercial Drive, New Hartford location!! Unfortunately, many of the negative and nasty comments below were left by workers at competing pharmacies!! Please ignore them!! They're jealous because their pharmacy is not nearly as good as Walgreens!!

Waited a real long time in line just to hand over three packages all ready packed up with prepaid labels.. but it is the holidays and there are new employees on as well so gotta cut them some slack...,.

Stay away from this Walgreens. It is always difficult to get answers at this pharmacy. Lately, it has been terrible. Called 5 times to check on a prescription. They just won't answer the phone. After 15 minutes, they hung up on me.

I went today for a scheduled series of injections. Upon arrival I was told “ nope” not happening. Okay but why did your website allow me to schedule injections that you knew weren’t allowed to be done together??? In defense of the staff… she was so amazing. Front desk grumpy old people wanting service NOW, drive up traffic, pharmacist asking HER questions, this woman was a rockstar. People…please don’t berate the staff… tell corporate that they need to step up and support the great staff that you have. Moving my business elsewhere. Just sayin

I am a diabetic who uses the Wallgreens Pharmacy every month to refill my prescriptions. I had one of my injections refilled which I called about on Wednesday December 28th which the pharmacist said I would put up the next day. I go on Thursday the 29th to pick up and they tell me they don’t have it and do not know when they will be getting this is. I tell them that I am diabetic and I am supposed to be taking my injection tonight and the girl told me there was nothing they could do, that the pharmacist who told me it was supposed to be ready was wrong which she didn’t even offer an apology or offer to call around to see if she could get my injection and that I should call my doctor. It was 5:30 at night!!! TERRIBLY PHARMACIST. No empathy whatsoever and clearly doesn’t care about people’s health conditions. Girl should be FIRED.

get better pharmacy staff, i cannot mentally afford having any more accidents happen with my prescriptions again, being told to go through the process of getting them back myself, dealing with the consequences of having no meds, all while unfriendly staff get snippy with me over the phone and proceed to hang up on me. disgusting behavior, absolutely apathetic towards customers.

The staff is exceptional!! They have been so short staffed lately but Im sure they are doing their very best with what they have to work with. Hopefully the company will give them more hours so they can take care of their customers, both front end and Pharmacy quicker, but again they are trying and it shows.

Pharmacy is absolutely useless, girlfriend is a more severe asthmatic and she tried calling In advance several times and got put on hold for 30 mins for nothing. We get here in person and there’s 7 people in front of her and when it gets to her turn they rudely tell her they’re not filling prescriptions, so thanks a lot useless humans.

Poorly run photo lab!! Waited on photos at end of school year for over a week. Was told they ran out of paper (HOW???) and then their delivery truck got a flat! Ok, but that doesn’t take over a week to fix!! Now I placed an order Monday, pick up today … half the order there, the other half is in limbo because their machine is down!!! I shouldn’t have been able to order them according to Mike! We’ll guess what Mike, I did because it was before the machine broke! What does it take to notify a customer via phone or email??? I needed them for the weekends party for my son! Unbelievable. Horrible staff, horrible photo center. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere!

I have loved dealing with all the employees at this location. Your policy at the drive through window is horrendous. I waited 15 minutes for the car in front of me while they filled her prescription. Other places ask the customer to come into the store and wait. This is not the 1st time this has happened. It is 5pm and the cars are lined up waiting. Terrible way to treat customers. The last I heard drive up is not for scripts that are not ready. Very very very unhappy customer.

The pharmacy is very hard to deal with, always a problem when I am picking up. They are extremely strict and won’t even let you pick up a day early even thought state laws allow it. If your doctor changes the quantity of your medicine they give you a hard time and make you wait a whole month. They also question the doctors orders instead of just doing their job and filling the prescription. Would not recommend, I will be switching myself.

This is a review of the Walgreen Pharmacy in New Hartford. Once again I placed a refill request online using the Walgreen website. Once again I received a text that my refills were ready. AND, once again when I got to the New Hartford Walgreen's I was told that my order was not complete. I live 10 miles from this Walgreen store. At 10:30 I was notified my refills were ready. I was there at 12:30 to pick them up where I was told they had to be ordered. At 1:15 I received a text telling me part of my order was delayed. This has happened repeatedly at this location. I have been a Walgreen customer for years in other city's and never have I had service like this.

I'm not certain why it's hard to keep items in stock, i'm also uncertain as to why it takes 30 minutes at the pharmacy to answer questions about said items that aren't in stock. Also pretty unsure why they failed to inform my wife, that LITERALLY every surrounding walgreens in the area, had my item in stock... instead they had her place a site to store order that still isn't here days later. When we went to the photo lab to inquire, we were quite shocked when the young lady behind the counter informed us it could take 6-7 WEEKS. After a brief, and very simple check online, of their OWN WEBSITE, i saw that every other store had my medicine... nice of them to inform us, while also taking our money, while also making us wait a ridiculous amount of time. Too many kids in this store that don't know what the hell they are doing.

Got stares from the old man shop keeper and there is an old lady with blonde hair who has an attitude problem and needs to learn her place quickly, can't miss her. She was rude as all get out, so if you want to feel like an alienated for having tattoos or a "certain look" this is the place to go.

Last 3 visits I’ve waited at the front of the store for a cashier. Seems like a basic function that a store should be able to support. Today it wasn’t obvious that they redirected to the cashier in the back. Need a better policy when you are short staffed.
