I am always amazed at the service here. It’s true I’m friends with the staff so they probably go the extra. This also may make my review a little bias. But I will add this. I have seen them work with many other customers both those who are new and experienced riders. They treat all with respect and will treat all equally and match you with the bike and equipment that matches your experience level. Stop in and give these guys your business. They have earned mine.

Our 10 year old daughter recently lost her bike in a garage fire. The staff went above and beyond in helping her find what was right for her and even let her ‘test drive ‘ one to make sure the bike felt right for her. It did and now she has a beautiful new bike and we’re all absolutely thrilled. A pleasure to do business with! A+++++ experience!!

Nice guys but not very good mechanics. Paid for 300 dollars in parts and labor to receive a defunct bicycle. Not a place for high end road bikes. If you need things a good place to buy, a large selection, but take your service needs somewhere else.

I can't say enough good things about the staff and owners of the establishment. Very helpful in finding the right bike for me, patient and immediately set up a bike for me to try out. They'll make you feel like you belong there, not just to buy a bike. Thank you!

I brought my recumbent bike in for service. Overall, I was very satisfied with the work done and the staff working there (very knowledgeable and willing to give explanations).......much more superior to my last service at a different bike store. The only concern was the seating of the new tires. Even after a second attempt, they were a little off. I was told that after riding that they might correct themselves. Hopefully either that happens, or, if not, there will be no lasting negative effect. So far my bike is riding and handling like new. I will not hesitate to return for future services.

I dropped my bike off on May 4th, 2023, for a tune-up. I was told it would be ready by May 13th. I told the woman I couldn't pick it up until the 15th, and she said that was fine. I called three times today (May 17th) only to get a disconnected phone message. So, I drive to the store, and I'm told their router disappeared days ago, and they had a new phone number. It would have been great if someone had updated the phone number on Google Maps (I did after leaving the store). However, I'm pretty upset to be told my bike was not ready to be picked up. These are not good business practices. All I needed was a new rear gear and chain. This should not take 13 days to complete. I'll be thinking twice about returning in the future.

I scheduled an appointment and was able to get in right away. The store had exactly the bike I was looking for at a great price and I was able to walk out of the door ready to ride. The staff (Jason and Tom is who I spoke with...) were knowledgeable and answered my questions, provided some insight on the hobby, and recommended some local trails. I will be returning in the future for any services on the new rig.Thanks guys!

A fee weeks ago I was "just browsing" for a friend who wanted to upgrade her ride. Tom spent a lot of time helping me gather options based on frame size, intended use, all the important things. I never felt any pressure to buy. I appreciated the relaxed yet informative visit. I just so happened to take a look at something for myself, and ended up buying it. Jason did a mulit point check on the bike right then and there, and I was able to leave with a new bike, rather than have to come back to pick it up. Subsequently, I did a really dumb thing to my new bike, and Jason helped me out right away. This team goes above and beyond to share their cycling knowledge while making every customer feel respected and appreciated. Obviously, I highly recommend TrekNew Hartford! Thank you!!

Just purchased my dream bike here at New Hartford Trek Store. My experience was second to none and Jason and Tom took their time in assisting me over the covid months. The bike arrived and was built to my liking and delivered on schedule. The fitting process was appreciated and very professional. Anyone looking for a bike should consider doing business here. I stopped here today while returning from a ride.I can’t think of a more inviting shop.Greeted on walking in, pointed to the stocked fridge and offered water and/or adult beverage, and to couch and TV on which to watch the tour.The owner personally addressed the minor complaint I had with my bike, then moved on to address a shifting issue. That problem been through multiple shops without resolution. He found the cassette to be loose and fixed it, but more importantly determined my freehub body to be loose. Even so, he left the shifting better than those other shops had been able to achieve.I moved from the area 20 years ago; I now live 700 miles away. I may bring my bikes here for service even so - the total experience is here. This is what the cycling community should be, and it’s wonderful to find.

The associate were very helpful and encouraging. I am 79 and was hesitant to try the bicycle after being off of one for so long plus I had suffered a stroke a year ago and am still recovering but I tried it for a second time and had success. I kept it up right. so I purchased my new bike.

Jason was very helpful not only on the phone, but also at the store. He was able to fix my flat tire and also explained how to do that. He rotated my tires and we purchased new tubes. I rode my bike this morning and it was a wonderful ride (no squeaking of the chain) which Jason had oiled. Also tried out my new flashing light and it works great. So I was very happy with the excellent service and products.

Knowledgeable, Very personable team. While waiting for some accessories that Tom was installing on my bike and adjustments, I could see how well other customers were also treated. You can tell the owners and their staff work well together and enjoy what they do. Community rides are posted at the store, and on their FB sites. I have a deposit (they only required $20!) on a new bike which hopefully will be in by early Autumn.

Always a no pressure experience when you walk in their doors. They always go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of and turn around time on bike service is second to none.I enjoy going there just to talk bikes, riding and whatever else might come up. They don't just sell bikes, they ride them.

Did the 2022 Utica ride for missing children. Jason, one of the owners, was also riding. Half way through the 80 mile ride I broke a spike on my rear rim. Was using my cross bike and the rim held up good with a slight wobble. As I knew Trek of NH prides itself on quick/quality service jokingly I shouted out to Jason if he could do a spoke repair “now”. I think he took me half seriously and looked almost like he was ready do it, lol. Yesterday I brought the rim in to Trek of NH, was told by one of the guys that “it will be done in half an hour”. I never do reviews but felt the need to congratulate these guys for what they do and how they do it. Congratulations and thank you for a top notch quality product and service.

I have twice taken my bike to this store for flat repairs. The staff is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable and despite the fact that each time I was a "walk-in" they serviced the tire quickly and efficiently. The first time I asked them if they felt that I needed a new rear tire and they were honest in telling me that my tire had many miles left. The second time I asked about a new tire and while they felt it was time for a replacement, they had only one tire of the size I needed in stock and again were honest in telling me that the tire they had in stock was not the best tire for the type of riding I do. They also explained that they are having a difficult time getting bikes and parts and explained that the pandemic and the fact that the parts come from overseas have made keeping inventory difficult. There's never a run-around here. They're good, honest people.

I purchased a used bike on Marketplace for my grandson and the handlebars were loose. I brought it to the Trek store in new Hartford and they were so helpful. They tightened the handle bars and put a kickstand on it for me. It took about 15 minutes and they only charged me for the kickstand. Great service!

Jason and Mark spent a lot of time showing me different TREK models to find the one that best matches my riding style and needs. Jason also did some training for me, and showed me some riding tips. I am very pleased with my new FX Sport 4 fitness bike. Logan also refurbished my now 20+ year old cherished road bike de-greasing and cleaning the shifters, replacing the chain, and cleaned it up to look like new! The FX4 will be my daily driver, but I will still have my old friend for longer rides and reminiscing. TREK Store of New Hartford is highly recommended for good reason, many thanks!

Staff was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. They have a passion for bikes and are more than willing to share their expertise. Watch YouTube videos and reviews all you want, you will not get the information you will at this store. When I walked in Jason sized me for a bike that was a perfect match!

The employees at this location were more than helpful when helping a noobie like myself. I walked in with zero knowledge of bikes or what I would need. He took the time to walk me through different models and types while allowing me to test ride each one that interested me. I would highly recommend and plan on being a long time customer.

I found the bike I was looking for on their website. I paid a small deposit to reserve the bike, and traveled out to the store several days later. The service was excellent, and Jason took such time and care to dial in a perfect fit on the bike for me. Rode 45 miles on day one with the new bike, and no hand numbness! I took my son here to buy a bike. We had to order one because he wanted a model that was not stocked. With the pandemic, there was a delay of the bike shipping to the store causing in turn a delay for the store to get it to us but I could not be happier with how hard they worked to get my son his bike as fast as they could. Then my son broke off the brake lever and they scheduled an appointment before regular business hours to replace the part! If you are looking for a high quality bike you will get it here!! And in times like these you want to go somewhere that cares about its customers. You will find that here.Amazing customer service!!!
