I'm particularly fond of the Rome Lowe's. They seem to have adequate and helpful associates who are eager to help. Even if you are just passing one of them they always ask if you need help finding something. The cashiers are always polite and friendly as they are efficient. We were able to get all of the supplies we needed to build a small deck in just one weekend with all of the pieces being in stock in the store. Oftentimes many places don't have enough material to make that possible.

At one time, they had staff to assist. Good luck finding someone today who can actually answer questions. The only person I could find is the one cash register supervisor posted at the self checkouts. Another retail disaster!!

“ this store is very strict with military discount” is what I was told when their system failed to find me. Presenting military ID and VA card means nothing. I recommend finding a better store that DOES support our troops

What can i say, i just hope Lowes can lower their price because is getting higher never lower. The location is clean, neat, organized. And their staff member knows what they are doing. Excellent customer service.

I can't think of a worse word to describe the customer service staff at this store. The two women in the returns department were downright rude. When I went to return the goods, I said "hold on", and the woman with short yellow hair and glasses yelled at me: don't say hold on to me, I heard it too many times today" what's the hack? You are a customer service person, not my boss. In fact, I purchased the Levolution Plastic Tile Spacer gun a day ago and it broke after two uses because of the poor quality. I contacted the manufacturer of this product The customer service, the customer service told me that Lowes will definitely return my money. But in fact they will not, they will only push the blame, they will only yell at the customers. Friends, don’t go to this terrible store again. This is new A disgrace to this great community in hartford.

Ellis, the Electrical Floor Supervisor is awesome. We were looking for a gazebo and couldn't find an associate in the garden section. He came right over to help. He even called 2 other stores to see if they had the gazebo. He was so helpful, thank you again.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE at the front CS desk by associate VAL (5:45pm, 3/2/23)! My cousin bought a hot water tank from Lowe's 5 days ago, and it leaked all over his hardwood floors!! Now, they have to buy new flooring!! 😡🤬 When he called two days ago, to find out what Lowe's would do for them, the manager on duty gave him the "run around" and wasn't sympathetic whatsoever!! They came in yesterday to exchange it, and employee Val, at the front CS counter was very rude, and threatened to call the manager on duty to kick out my cousin and his GF. Is that how you treat loyal customers??? The product that YOU sold to my cousin failed, and he was VERY inconvenienced to have to bring it back, but no one seemed to care!! Lowe's definitely should have treated these customers a lot better than they were!! Although, the other employees at Lowe's are "customer friendly," as I've had good experiences with many associates at the NH store! Val should not be working the main CS desk...she's NOT customer friendly! Remember...there ARE other stores (Home Depot, etc) similar to Lowe's, and we'll be glad to give them business instead!! I'm sure you know that NO ONE is more important in the store than CUSTOMERS....ALL customers!! Thank you.

Bought some grade 8 bolts and nuts. The nuts cross threaded immediately and were machined wrong. Went to JayK and got nuts, they worked perfectly. Lowes is a joke for hardware and lumber. If you're looking for a gym membership, look no further. You'll be chasing people down to get help. Cheers!

I purchased thousands of items from Lowes in new Hartford NY. One year ago Lowes ordered a pella screen door for me. Unfortunately winter was approaching and the screen door was installed at that time. When attempting a install we realized the door was ordered wrong by Lowes. The manager refused to help me in any way. The 90 days should not apply because is was not my error. They really don't care about your business

new Hartford Asst Manager Rob Graham was great helping answer my question and finding my products. He is great customer advocate. I went to Home Depot prior because it's closer, rep ignored me, left me when another customer had a question. Home Depot staff are so rude

I just had the displeasure of running into a Lowes delivery truck in the New Hartford Walmart plaza. Your driver was going the wrong way in a 'One Way' marked lane. When I pointed to the 'One Way' sign, the blonde hair goatee wearing driver smiled at me & gave me the finger. Real wise guy. Better remind him, driving improperly while in a company vehicle could end up costing Lowes & him a lawsuit.

Very shopper friendly compared to the Home Depot here in Utica. The store is always clean. Associates are friendly and ask if you need assistance. When you do ask, they also usually walk you to the area you need, which is even better. I’ve never had to deal with items being out of stock like at HD. A lot of the smaller parts like plumbing fittings and hardware are also very well organized. Most of the time, they are on the correct shelves/bay, etc. Keep up the great work NH Lowes!

Not in love with protection plan, refund/replacement policies or Management that says the manufacturer warranty must be used before protection plan purchased from this store. Manufacturer was horrible to deal with. All store associates know the manufacturer won't repair and yet we the customer are made to jump through hoops for months. One associate, Dave M, was fantastic to deal with and genuinely wanted to help us! He made the original sale for our dishwasher and went out of his way to get us a replacement for it when it it broke after only 9 months. He cared that we spent 2 more months dealing with a manufacturer that was never going to consent to repair. Yet our work order for a new install was canceled without notice or any member of Management being able to say why. Their only concern was that Dave didn't follow some sort of proper procedure. Idk how that's possible considering we heard him get some sort management "approval" for the order in the first place!I just bought my 2nd brand new dishwasher in less than 12 months with no discount or compensation of any kind. I couldn't take it home with me, because despite it being on sale, they had none in stock. The only person that seemed to want to HELP, apparently is going to be chastised for his amazing customer service and kindness, while every other person that my husband and I have dealt with in the last 3 months, at least 5 or 6 associates or supposed "bosses", has only said they can't do anything. So much for supporting excellent customer service.

I shop Lowe's stores on a regular basis. The New Hartford store definitely needs to work on customer service. I walked through the entire store and saw many associates (dozen if not more). None of them greeted me or asked if I needed help. Utica store is different.

Picked up assembled Blackstone and noticed blemishes before signing for it. Upon unloading we saw that the left front bar of griddle was bent from hole to corner, and the same side of the hood was twisted in the same area. Also had to tighten the hood attach points because they were loose.

This was a bit of a jaunt for us, but well worth the extra distance. Seeking a riding lawn mower, this was the only place in a nearly-90-mile radius who had stock. It was very busy, but we were helped quickly, and when the transaction became tricky, the staff was excellent. 10/10 would return here. Extra kudos to Samantha and the rest of the team at the service desk who assisted today!

Great for flowers, and while I waited to pay, I was stared at by some workers while I was staring at a vacant register. One stepped up to the plate tho and let me pay there, huge shout out to them. Respect.

I needed a shop vac and the first place for that was Lowe's. You can find almost all your home improvement needs here. The Staff member I had contact with was very helpful and when I needed something lifted then he was there to help. He was very professional and it showed in his appearance.The product was in stock and fairly priced. There was plenty of parking, they take cash or credit. Well,worth the trip.
