I had my appointment at the New Hartford empire visionworks. It was the most extensive eye exam I have ever received. All staff members for professional, respectful, knowledgeable and displayed exceptional customer service. The doctor showed the photos of my eyes and explained all areas of the eye we were looking at. She patiently answered all questions and indicated what I might be looking at in the future regarding my eyes. Overall, I would recommend this business to all my family and friends.

Very lucky to get a cancellation or I would have had to wait a month or more when I truly needed an upgrade in contacts. Techs were knowledgeable, helpful efficient, professional and personable. Do not like the idea of a tele doc at all. Prefer up close exam for obvious reasons.

This was my first time virtual (Doctor physical not there ) on my eyes , had a good experience. I was a bit scared . Almost all staff are very nice and helpful, from the front desk young gentleman to the lady that does the 1st step with you and those machines very nice ppl. Very respectful and have that willing to assist , then the next step is the lady that sets up the doctor call in the computer very nice and also she was willing to help very respectful . Then doctor Jaime Anderson very professional doctor . She was had always a smile and was very patient with me . The final step was not very well the lady that does the final step ( when you pick your glasses and the she measures the size of the glasses ) absolutely not friendly at all . She was not nice when you ask questions , she is rude , I ask a question related to my rx prescription ( that if she can check if doc gave me same rx prescription due to that what doc told , just to check so I can be sure no change at all ) well she answer me that what ever the doc tells me its is what it has to be , I said just want to confirm . She took my glasses and went to a room and came back she states there is a minimum change . I told her doc said that i should stay with same prescription can you please check that with the specialist ( well when i was telling or asking her she left me there talking on my own ) she is so rude and at the beginning when I just came in, that was another customer he had another issue with his glasses, falling his glasses off his glass frame, and it was his third time there this lady Laura P the one that I’m telling you she’s very rude and she was so rude to him as well. I was surprise the old men was still talking nice to her . Her name is Laura P . I would of give a 5 start to this place but because of her cant do that .

Unfortunately they only had 1 optician who is lacking in customer service skills and the equal treatment of individuals. My mother and I selected frames and were told to sit and wait. Ten minutes later she proceeded to fit/fix another customers glasses who came in after us without any acknowledgment of us being before her. When I asked for our prescription back she made rude faces and denied caring for the customer. She said we could wait another two minutes to be seen by her. We were the only visible women of color, black and Latina in the office. The front desk staff was polite and did their best to navigate what resulted in an awkward and unnecessary engagement. We hadn’t gone to this location in years fearing this service and will not be returning again.

I waited 30 minutes beyond my appointment time to be seen and then was told it was a telehealth appointment, which would have been fine if they had working internet. Once I got in I waited for the internet to connect to the telehealth doctors not once but twice which took an extra 15 minutes. I was also put in the wrong room to wait while they yelled back and forth "where did she go?" and mind you I could not see because they had my contacts. Once I was done with the appointment they brought me to the front while I waited for my contacts to be ordered. I assumed the optician was with a patient and thats why I was waiting but it was actually an optician and another employee talking about their vacations. The icing on the cake is that now that I finally had my contacts shipped to me, they are the wrong contacts, so it was a complete waste of time. I am just going to order from Walmart, where I have never had issues like this. Not worth the headache to go to Visionworks.

I couldn't ask for a better place to have my glasses done. In an unfortunate incident where a dog popped out my lens and chewed it along with the frame, I was able to get a full replacement under a warranty. I simply couldn't be happier.

Recently lost my glasses and was desperate to replace them. The automated system was less than helpful but when I was able to actually speak to someone there, she was very kind and helpful. Office staff is always polite, professional and courtesy. This is my go to place when selecting glasses even though my insurance is not accepted. My glasses came in ahead of schedule and I received a call to pick them up. I trust the staff and their expertise that I brought my 7yr old son in, he had an amazing experience. Continue the great work and customer service. Definitely recommend!!

I had an amazing experience at New Hartford Visionworks. This is my favorite location and I’ve been to several. The staff is so professional and knowledgeable about glasses. My favorite staff member is my optician Bianca G. she helps me stay trendy and picks glasses that always flatter me. She’s amazing, friendly and has such a great attitude. One of the main reason I come back every time. Make sure to make your appointment here, you won’t regret it.

Even though my husband went in and made the appointment in person they call and threaten to cancel because I couldn't get to the phone when they called to confirm. Very nasty. He was just there...in person. You always wait way too long at every step with them. Our family is done with them. If our insurance doesn't work someplace else we'll pay without insurance. This place isn't worth the hassle.

Dr. Booton is phenomenal…. Engaged my son immediately… got him interested… even gave him a history lesson on eye sight charts…. Great !!!

The problem is trying to get through to talk to an associate. The automated voice NEVER hears what has been spoken correctly.Then when you are finally directed to someone the phone is busy. The customer service people at the facility are wonderful.

Went in for a quick adjustment and there was a slight wait. Seems like they have a large staff but there were so many people in the office waiting for an adjustment or to buy glasses I understood why I had to wait. When they did wait on me they were extremely polite and courteous. They even apologized for the slight wait even though they were crazy busy. They asked me to tell my experience online so here it us! I highly recommend this location. They do have some poor reviews online but I did not experience what was written. I think they are a high traffic location and try their best to meet everyone's expectations. I'll be a customer there for sure. During peaks times be prepared to wait at least 5-10 minutes

Checked about benefits that weren’t listed on the print out and was very honest with me about what I really did need and what I didn’t need to spend extra money on. Scheduling the appointment was quick and easy. Got there a little early to look at glasses selection. Super impressed! Made it difficult to pick, so I ended up with two pair. The staff were all wonderful and very polite. Would def recommend it to anyone!
