I love the bargains. It's a nice store. But there were 2 workers standing around chatting it up with one that was going home for the day. Then, one of them started fixing the balloons, and there was a line on one register. They didn't jump on to get rid of the line. I enjoy getting in and out. I'm sure they do too when they're customers.They disappeared into the back. Shaking my head.Customer service has to come first in every business! That's what I learned in my working years. Work ethic has to be better!

Very rude bad attitude I have never been cashed out by someone with such bad attitude her name is Maria just throws the divider than gets mad when You don't Put away the basket right away even though I had a ton of stuff could have just asked nicely. Everything she did was with an attitude. Last time I’m going here

The cashier at the Commercial Drive New Hartford location, Anna, AnneMarie, whatever name she is using these days, black woman was extremely rude to me. Very aggressively threw my stuff in the paper bag. She was not friendly at all. I think someone should retrain her on how be a better customer service representative because right now, her attitude leaves a lot to be desired

The store was very busy and shelves were empty. But that was expected with the volume of customers there. With this virus everyone is on high alert to stock up their home. BUT....I was mortified at the check out. There were three lights on but I saw no one near the registers. Customers were confused, as I was. Then to my surprise one employee started yelling, " register one is open people's" By now I'm pretty upset. But to my surprise, it got worse. Your other employee is on her phone looking for "another job" My cashier was talking to her and agreed with everything she said. I'm on medical leave but Im a district manager in the retail world. Yes I agree everyone is cranky but I always had my best people scheduled. Boy I hope this works.

Lots of stuff. Lots of cheap stuff. Some looks good, some looks cheap. But, it is a dollar store so probably worth the trip. I looked for a few products and found them at the expected low price. But, the packages were greatly scaled down and I'm not sure a unit price would have been justified. But again, not to overanalyze, this is a dollar store. The inventory is extensive and there truly will be something of interest to any visitor.The only negative comment I will make is related to the organization of the inventory I looked through. Franky, it was in disarray, a total mess. I spent most of my visit in electronics, looking at cellphone cases and accessories. The shelves looked like a hurricane had blown through. Rather than paw through the mess, I ended my shopping trip.In fairness to the store, it was late in the day, and the rest of the store did not appear as disorganized. Perhaps a return trip would find things tidied up?

The dollar tree in New Hartford is my favorite “All for $1” store. The staff keeps the aisles and merchandise well stocked, clean, and neat, even though many customers & children tend to that difficult by rummaging through the toy, makeup, hair, party supply’s, and snack aisles like little tornadoes. The staff is friendly and they are never short of staff members to help you find an item or to check you out. Also, they are open late - until 10pm normally (hours are different now due to Covid-19) - and that is helpful to me and my schedule. Great job, and great store! Highly recommended 😀.Kelly

Can't complain. Everything is a dollar. I have found items that are at the Dollar Tree cheaper than at other stores. I recommend you go take a look first here, then try other stores. You might be pretty surprised at what you may find.

Excellent, as usual. Great variety, plenty of cashiers, they Give you paper bags with handles. The people who work there are very friendly, and courteous. It is my favorite store.

Nice, clean, and very organized for a dollar store, where everything is actually one dollar. They have alittle of everything here, drinks, ice cream, food, dishes, auto, bath, kitchen, laundry, cleaning equipment, cleaners, bath, toys, baby's, pets, cards, wrapping paper, books, stationary, holiday, big balloons, & other party supplies. Just have to check the code dates on some of their products, very rarely has it happened, but on occasion, I have found a product past it's code date. But otherwise, usually go in for one thing & come out with way more. While they have a drink cooler & sell ice cream, they don't have a cooler &/or freezer section like another dollar tree in the area has. It would be nice if they could get one.

This place has gone downhill in the past several months. Was in there on 6 / 14 and the place was a mess ! So much stuff on the floor in the aisle from people dropping them that u could barely walk down it ! The carpet in front of the doors was filthy too. When I mentioned it to the manager , she seemed nonchalant about it. Said " yea , tell me about it. "

It's the Dollar Tree what's not to love? Seriously though, clean and organized. Friendly staff which makes the difference any where. They're always obliged to help especially since this Dollar Tree is large so you may need guidance. No fridge/freezer section though. Have to go to Utica Dollar Tree for that.

Everything is $1, I'm sure all made in China, you get what you pay for, great if you need cheap party supplies, or cards for every occasion.
