Typical used car salesmen. 0 should be an option. Steve was recommended by my daughter and I was immediately taken advantage of as I was desperate for a car. He tried to show me that someone else had applied for financing the car but backed out. The day i was supposed to pick up the2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid he called and said a hybrid light came on and he had to order a part. Took 2 weeks to get the part. When I did pick up the car it broke down 2 days later. I've put in over 5k and now have to junk it. Let's just say it's been a nightmare. You wanted nothing to do with it afterwards. Your going to come back with a slick answer because that's what you do !!!

Steve worked with me to make sure we left with a good car for my daughter. She just had to have a Beetle. I was not close to the him so he made sure all my paperwork was in order to avoid multiple trips. He didn’t try to add on crazy hidden fees like some dealers I dealt with.

Very good experience. I have been searching for a specific car, a 1984 Mercedes 300TD for a long time and ended up purchasing one from Steve at Better Wheels. The only problem is, I live in Denver Colorado. Steve made accommodations for me to have a 3rd party inspection and test drive. Once the purchase price was agreed upon, Better wheels stores the vehicle while I arranged for a transport company to ship the vehicle. Better wheels met the shipping company and signed the bill of lading, FedEx’d the title and was always responsive to my questions. I couldn’t have asked for anything else.

After shopping around at a few dealerships I was having a really hard time finding an honest salesman who didn’t give you one price on the phone and another in person. I called Steve at Better Wheels to inquire about a used Honda Accord and he told me the price I see is the price I get and he was being truthful. He made the process of buying a car as painless and simple as possible. He had the car washed up for me and pulled out front. He even called later in the week to check in and see if I was happy with my car. Which I am. I got it checked out by my mechanic shortly after purchasing it, and he informed me I bought a good car at a fair price. I’m grateful there are still good guys out there doing honest business and I’m very happy with my new car!

Bought a VW Mk6 Golf (2011) and absolutely adore the car. I've had it for 3 months now and the car is running great. Rob was really helpful talking me through the car and allowing me to test drive it. I was shown the complete history of the vehicle as well. Steve, the owner, is a very fair guy and was very helpful to me, talking me through owning a car and important factors to consider.When I was buying they let me take the car to one of my parents mechanics to get checked out which I appreciated and gave me peace of mind when buying. After selling the car to me they honored a 30 day warranty which I believe applies to all cars under 100,000 miles. They fixed a minor oil leak as well as a couple other minor issues and overall I feel as a customer I got a great deal and was very fairly treated. Abraham the mechanic helped me understand what was going on and was really helpful as well.I don't often do reviews but feel they deserved a good one. I would suggest Better Wheels to anyone looking to buy a used car. I'm 23 and it's my first car (was a big step for me to buy my own car) so I am really happy with how I was treated and in the end got a really great deal!

We recently attempted to sell our F150 on our own and received several responses, but with very sketchy payment arrangements. We contacted a few dealers and chose to work with Steve at Better Wheels. He made us the best offer by far, and also gave us a consignment option, which we did, for more money when the truck sold. Not only did the truck sell 3 days later, but Steve made the entire process stress-free and we had the receipt for our plates within a week. Would absolutely go to Steve again the next time we want to buy or sell. Wonderful local business!

Bought my car from this place a year and a half ago and since then I’ve spent more than $4,000 on repairs. They said everything was fixed and working properly and had everything checked by their mechanic. I had to replace all of my tires a couple months after purchase, fix 2 of my brakes, have something in my engine fixed several times for various reasons, and spent another $1,000 to replace the throttle body. On top of all that, the air conditioning does not work properly and 2 of the speakers in the car are blown. Clearly nothing was checked or fixed by their mechanic. It would be nice to go to a place that actually sells you a car that has been checked and has had everything fixed or at the very least I would like to be told what issues the car has.

I received what I thought was a fair price on my car and the process went very quick and smooth. They even took care of returning my plates to the DMV and providing me the paperwork once complete. Steven is a great guy doing honest work. I wanted to purchase my first manual transmission car, without knowing how to drive it, and he was willing to give me lessons! I thank him for his patience. He was also very honest about the car I was purchasing, and put a lot of hard work into making sure it was all good to go before I received it. Great place with great people.

Overall smooth and friendly experience. They carry quality used vehicles and I couldn’t be happier with the vehicle I purchased. Would definitely buy another vehicle from them. Steve and the guys are all very professional. They fixed minor things they said they would before I took the car home, and even changed the front brakes for me free of charge.

OHMYGOD! I am STUNNED! I think I just died and went to Heaven! I recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to part with my beloved 1990 Yugo convertible which I had owned for over 15 years. I am 73 years old and had fully intended that to be the last car I would ever own. When my boss learned that I had to get another car, he suggested a Mini Cooper because he knew I wanted a small car. Somehow the gods of used cars were looking out for me and I quickly found a Mini convertible being sold by Better Wheels. I knew ZERO about Mini Coopers but saw a gorgeous 2006 Cooper S with only 36,000 (!) miles that literally looked BRAND NEW when I drove to the dealership to check it out. I met the owner Steve and his righthand man Robert and went for a test drive and the word "SOLD!" literally flew out of my mouth almost instantly. They took care of all the paperwork, etc., and took the time to show me all the amazing features of this beautiful car which continue to awe me. Steve and Robert are both incredible guys who have gone above and beyond to make sure I am happy with my new "wheels." I still can't believe my good fortune in finding both them and my Mini!

BETTER WHEELS?? THINK AGAIN!! GO ELSEWHERE!! Bought a used car 9 mos ago for my son. Our biggest mistake was not getting car checked out by our OWN mechanic. Boy did Steve (owner) pull one over on us!! Car was NEVER maintained and he NEVER bothered to fix ANYTHING b4 selling it to us! In fact the muffler fell off a week later and my son brought it back and it was replaced. 4 mos after that the car needed shocks. Now 9 mos later EVERY single thing that could be wrong IS costing us $3,000 in parts & labor and that's WITH a 1k discount from our very trusted mechanic. STEER CLEAR FROM THIS SCAMMER!!

Quick, smooth transaction - I sold my used car with no issues. They even dropped the plates for me at the DMV and emailed me back the receipt. Also important to me was that these guys were prepared to sign the Title. Many other dealers would rather cut corners and ask you to fill out and sign the Seller's portion but leave the Buyer's portion blank.

This place was great. Honest and forthright. Their online price matched the real one and their comments about the vehicle were spot on.Highly recommended if you live in the New York area and are looking for a car. We came up from NJ and the whole process was just great. This was internet used car shopping at its best. We've driven an unusually high 500 miles since we picked it up and the family loves how well this has worked out for us.Five stars from me. They're not super fancy but they are honest. Which would you rather pay for?

Buying a used car is not a fun task primarily because of having to deal with the dealers, who for the most part are a turn off from the minute you walk into their door. But Better Wheels and the owner Steven were pleasant surprise and a pleasure to work with. We looked all over the tri state area for a 2009 Subaru Forester and found it here. He was fair and worked with our requests. They are a small operation and hence you get the personal attentions. The car is in excellent condition (at least for now...knock on wood!). The only "complaint" I have is that the car could have been washed on the inside prior to selling it. I had to go and pay $100+ to get it fully cleaned, seats washed, etc, as there was dirt, dog hair, and coffee spill from the previous owner in it.

It's a shame that everyone is bragging about this guy and his place. I had such a nightmare. My family went there and the owner Steve mislead us. he made us go through all these finance procedures but he has his hidden secrets . Also If you don't purchase a vehicle after some time with him or of he picks up a pen , then you are responsible for paying a charge of 400.00. He is a used car salesman, You might as well go to your local deale rand get the same abuse. why drive to Harrison
