They usually have what I need for the most part. It isn't the employee's fault if deliveries don't have ALL the things they expect... like icecream, or cream cheese... all family dollar never carry st pattys day stuff, which is weird.

Family Dollar and Dollar General are greedy businesses because they Do Not provide a well stocked staff! This DOES trickle down to the customers by waiting at the register, products in boxes on rolling racks blocking isles instead of on the shelves, prices on shelves ring higher at the registers. These stores were a good idea but like so many Big Businesses employees and customers are being "taken advantage of"!

Great store, saves me with whatever i need pretty much everyday. Good customer service especially from the cashier named Krystle. She is always very friendly and kind as well as more than helpful with anything she can. She seems to certainly go above and beyond for her customers.

It's a small country store, but we have been keeping it stocked, and cleaned. We have all new staff, they are polite and will help any way they can. Anyone who has been negative in the past is no longer there. We appreciate our customers, thank you everyone for your support and patience.

This review is of the Family Dollar on SR 79 Harpursville NY. Ever since the new management has taken over the store been so clean and well stocked. It seems as though the Manager is always working and never goes home. Please tell her thank u for a job well done.Ron

This store is a small compact store located in Harpursville just off Exit 6 on Route 88... it's a well kept secret in this area. In just a few short minutes I found what I wanted and a few unexpected surprises as well. The staff are courteous and friendly and not afraid to talk to customers...I can guarantee without a doubt this will be one of my new favorite go to stores...$-$$...

The problems at this location are endless. First, you have to navigate the large crater in the center of the entrance to even get to this dump. Should you car survive the hit, you'll find that the only place to get a cart is outside on the sidewalk, not under any sort of cover. So if its raining and you buy anything in a paper bag or cardboard box, my prayers are with you.The employees are the biggest problem at this store. Just looking at a few reviews already, the girl with the lip piercing should be relocated... perhaps to the unemployment line. I have had the misfortune of being "helped" be her and she could not be more inconvenienced. Every. Single. Time. The store is constantly a complete mess, especially the center of the store in general. Most recently, I was there waiting in line to get one item. This was by far one of the longest lines I've ever been in at this location. It appeared that the cashier was relatively new (thankfully NOT Lip Piercing). Which I have no issue with but they were getting backed up. In front of his register was what looked like a big puddle of BBQ sauce or something similar. One of the customers behind me told him that he should get it cleaned up. So, I step up to the register, he calls for another employee....instead of ringing me out. That employee never answers or comes to the register. Now the customers behind me are yelling this guys name. Still nothing. And I am still standing there with one single item. Now I'm getting irritated. Finally another girl comes up to the other register after a few minutes of everyone yelling in unison for this guy and starts helping the customers behind me while the guy who could've checked me out while we were waiting walks away into a closet to get something to clean the mess up with. I set my ONE ITEM down on the register and walked out of the store.Thank GOD they put in a similar store in Afton that blows this one out of the water in terms of cleanliness and the friendliness of it's employees.I don't think it would be the worst thing to happen if this store just sank into that crater in the parking lot.Thanks for not reading this management or corporate :)

Very convenient knowing I am able to use any type of payment option . Very rude female about 5'6" with short brown hair and a lip peircing. Long story short she was very rude but the women that she was working with was very nice and sweet! Can't count on certain people to peacefully check out your items.

Ok, not great. Very slow service. Shelves are always bare. It is convenient only. Not cheap.
