Coming here is always such a pleasant experience! Went in for dog food, but wound up also ordering a stuffed toy for one of my pet sitting clients.Jennifer was not only extremely helpful & patient while I asked questions on their selections, but she went down the aisle, brought me the food, put it in the cart, looked up various options for the toy, & ordered it for me all with a sweet demeanor & smile on her face!

Terrible. I love Melissa in the training department but the grooming department needs a complete overhaul. They denied service that was scheduled for my doodle because he was too hairy and a little mouthy… Petco protocol is to not groom dogs with too much hair- more like they deny services when it looks like too much work. Not to mention they can’t keep staff so my appointments were constantly canceled at the last minute. He was taken in the next day by another local groomer who had no problem taking my sweet pup and we had much better results.

The groomer working at the Bridgehampton location is TERRIBLE and crazy. I have groomed my miniature dachshund for the past 13 YEARS with no issues until now.. I would avoid this location at all costs as she is the only groomer. Honestly they are better of not having a groomer at all..

Staff is always very nice and always as helpful as they can be. The grooming dept. is great too! You hear of all of these crazy stories about commercial grooming places and crazy accidents or deaths that happen but this place has a team that you can tell really care about their job and their clients. I've recommended several people to them and all have come back to tell me I was right in recommending them there as the prices are fair compared to private grooming companies out here and a good job is done. My dog has extremely short hair but I still bring here there for grooming services and my little nugget loves seeing them!

Critical: ReliabilityI made grooming appointments in June the soonest they could take care of my dogs was August. Fine I made they appointments gave them all the vaccine information. I walked into the store the Saturday before my appointments. They said all the appointments are good even though I only got one reminder text. I get here Tuesday morning with my 4 dogs at 8am And they informed me that I don’t have proper vaccination cards for two of my dogs. Meanwhile my vet does not open for another hour and I have a doctors appointment at 8:30 that I missed. I called their home office and they were useless. So now I am sitting here waiting outside for 9am so I can call my vet. As for the doctors appointment I am missing it takes a month or so to reschedule and they are billing me $200 to my credit card. This sucks!

I had a dog with a heart murmur and they refused to groom her. That is understandable. But now for some reason my account is flagged and any pet I bring in for grooming my appointment gets cancelled no explanation just that I have to call. When I call they explain my dog has a condition and they can’t groom her but when I explain it is a different dog they say they can’t accept dogs with heart conditions so basically I can’t take any dog I own there because my account is flagged. Such BS. Makes me hate Petco as a whole company. Cancelled all my repeat deliveries. Wish I could give no stars.

Cynthia (the store’s groomer) was very knowledgeable and helped give my aussie/collie mix her first shave. She was very gentle and my dog was very comfortable with her. She looks great and we are very pleased with both the price and how cute she looks!

Dane is awesome !!! always a pleasure to see him, he remembers our puppy’s name. This young man has been incredibly resourceful and pleasant. He always goes above and beyond to help us find the things we need and my kids look forward to going to Petco to ask him questions and share our new fur baby progress with house training.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PUPS TO BRIDGEHAMPTON STORE For GROOMING. THEY changed personal and the woman they have there now is lazy, uncaring and rude. I have gone there for 10 years and Cynthia always took great care of my senior pup. This person refused to groom her. This is after she had surgery and as a result, I could not get her bathed until she healed. CHECK OUT NEXTDOOR I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO'S OFFENDED. THEY ARE LOSING CUSTOMERS LIKE CRAZY. BTW, PETA is investigating the whole company for false advertising.

Worse dog training experience. First of all, the training was in the store in the smallest space between cat adoption boxes and the dog toy aisle. Dogs were walking by the area in the store. There were two dogs in the training sessions and the other dog had an entourage of 4 kids and 2 adults. There were so many distractions. When I called to make the appointment and when I filled out the paper I expressed my wish to socialize our dog. How were they thinking to accommodate that need since we had a gated "cubicle" space and a large dog? The only positive thing was that Petco reimbursed me right away but I still have to recover from the stressful 10-minute session.

Staff is very helpful but not a lot of variety, even for what I thought were fairly popular items. In fact, a brand of kitty litter I was trying to find was not available at Petco but was available at the supermarket next door.
