We love Vern’s! It’s such a blessing to have a local bakery with a truly awesome baker. We often stop in and the toughest decision is which baked good to get! I love the bacon and egg croissant and my husband can’t leave without a (giant, delicious!) cinnamon roll (it could feed six but it’s so tasty you can also easily have one all to yourself!) but there are so many wonderful options. Bravo, Vern!

Stopped into Vern’s on a Tuesday morning around 9:30. Beautiful case of bakery items. I had the yummy bacon, egg & cheese croissant and my guy had the blackberry & Brie croissant plus coffee. Everything was fresh and delicious. Vern was the nicest and made sure our visit was perfect! Now we need to walk off the calories.

Stopped in to check out the pastries and left with the most delicious cinnamon roll, muffins, and croissants we’ve ever had. Everything was fresh and incredibly delicious. The sausage egg and cheese/bacon egg and cheese croissants were excellent. Vern was also very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

We've stopped by Vern's a few times when the hours indicated they were open & they weren't. Today they happened to be open; however, the service we received was extremely rude. Also, we tried to pay with a $20 & he said he didn't have change. Then he charged a 3% fee for using our credit card. We ordered a croissant but we were given a loaf of something & it was too hard to eat. We ended up leaving the food, a waste of money & time, & add the rude treatment to the entire poor experience. Definitely do not recommend. Go to Crooked Lake Ice Cream Parlor for breakfast! Excellent food & service!

We purchased a blackberry lime scone and a bacon cheese cheddar croissant, both were excellent. The coffee was a little weak. Baked goods are huge and highly recommended.

My Wife and her friends went to the area for a weekend and stopped by the bakery to WFH for a little while . The person at the counter disrespected her crew and said they should leave and not “loiter” even after they purchased items from the bakery… he also insisted and told them to go to a library which is where they left after they were publicly insulted in-front of other people at the bakery. Would give this place a -5 stars for customer service and respect.

I've read the negative reviews and have to say, it's NEVER been my experience!! The baked goods are amazing! And Vern's a great guy, some people have zero humor and a thin skin. Never day old products!

Went in with my wife and asked for a decaf coffee, the guy laughed in our faces and said this isn’t a specialty coffee shop like we were a couple no good hipsters. I was actually about to order regular if he wouldn’t have treated us like garbage. How is decaf specialty? I was even going to buy some of his mediocre baked goods, lost our sale and the sale of all of our friends and they’re friends. As we walked away we could still hear the clown laughing.

One hell of a nice guy. Baked goods as big as your head. A must-stop if you’re staying in Keuka lake. Good diner-style coffee; don’t go if you’d prefer a $7 latte.

I was so underwhelmed. If you want yesterday's pastries, this is your place.I just took a bite of another pastry I purchased there before I completed my review and it sucked so much that I changed my review from two stars to one. A waste of 15 dollars and a waste of the 20 minutes past the posted time I waited for them to open this morning.
