Had a great visit here! 5$ Friday brews!!! What more can you ask for??? Great choices for beers and not just the regular assortment of flavors! Used to love this place. Great building and used to be a great experience. Staffing changes and those running it are less than enthusiastic. Two people with zero personality running it now and the beer was not near what it used to be. Much better beer and better staff in the fingerlakes. Sadly, Looks like this place has run its course. Bring back good staff and brew better beer. Go up the road to Keuka Brewing or Steuben.

Very cool place. Old (1870s-1880s) building is just neat to be in. Parking is a little limited but once your inside it's a great atmosphere and beer selection. Pale ales are very good, strong grain flavor. Friendly people and cool merch available.

We were so lucky that TBOBD was open on Sunday as we were passing through Hammondsport. You feel right at home as soon as you open the door. The historic building was renovated by the owners and they did a great job of combining old with new. We spent about an hour talking with the owner and really enjoying our time spent there. The beer list is diverse. If you are looking for all sours/IPA's, then you may want to frequent another brewery. If you want a spectrum of quality beers from lagers to stouts, then this is the place for you. Local ciders and wines also. I had an ESB and a chocolate stout. Both well done. Friendly staff, knowledgeable and well versed on their offerings. Older structure with a lot of history to it. Located at the bottom of Keuka Lake.The brews we're tasty and the dry cider was good too! Cute gift shop inside. Outdoor seating in the grass on either side of the building.

Always a great set of hand crafted beer on tap. Also tasty snacks. A must visit if you are near Hammondsport. They have short pours and full pints too. Can take anything to go canned at the premises as requested.

Great place. Decent prices, great variety and an awesome bartender from London, who was fun to talk to. Our group took our flights around to the side patio and no one else was there. Highly recommend a visit! 😀

A real pub that makes great beer in a cozy 100+ year old building. Friendly pourers and a nice mix of tourists and locals. I wish I lived next door, I'd be Norm (ask your parents kids).

Been coming here for several years on annual trips to the lake. Love the old barn ambiance and great selection of beers. Also great you can get tasting flights of 2/4 oz and 1/2 pours so you can pick your favorite for a growler to go.

Truly top-notch microbrewery. Beautiful location, with expertly crafted beers. All beers sampled were not only true to style, but uniquely crafted. Very friendly, knowledgable, and attentive staff. After an extensive tour of 18 plus finger lakes area breweries, this one is definitely in the top 2-3. do yourself a favor and stop in! Dog friendly to boot!

A good variety of beer on tap with my favorites being the Floating Leaf brown porter ale and the So You're Wild oatmeal stout. Both of the bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. The taproom was clean and spacious. It was a good find .

This was the first stop on our mini Hammondsport, NY area brewery crawl this weekend. Parking is very minimal, which I think may be the biggest drawback to this place, especially during winter. The tasting room appears to be a converted basement/bottom floor type area, and I thought the setup and atmosphere was very nice from an aesthetic and practical viewpoint. The beer selection was small, but interesting. The bartenders seemed pretty knowledgeable about the beers on tap. There's a few snacks on offer here; the cheese filled pickles seemed to be a pretty popular choice, though we didn't try it.

Wow! Fantastic! If visiting the area or a local, what a brave and fantastic collection of brews. Very much recommend. The story, the history, and the brews are just beyond phenomenal. Oliver, our serving specialist was not only knowledgeable but passionate. Truly an amazing experience. Visit this brewery, and do yourself a favor.

I, as well as friends and family have been to this brewery many times. The beers offered will satisfy just about every pallet. I like the dark beers and have always found at least a few to my liking. The owner/brewer attended a local brewfest at a place called Seneca Lodge, in Watkins Glen. He brought a Dunkel that all in my group rated as the Gold Medal beer of the event. I will continue to support this fantastic brewery whenever I am able!

Had to sit outside, but that's not the brewery's fault. I was considerably underwhelmed by the beers and had high hopes for this place. Everything had the Belgian yeast taste, including what the were calling a stout, but probably should've been a strong ale. I would give it another shot post-Covid, but wouldn't make a special trip

Broken dreams is an apt name for this brewery. We had only time enough to stop at one place on our way down to a friend's house and so we chose this place. I am sure that the beer would have been delicious, but we never even had a chance to taste it. There is very minimal parking to start with so beware of that to begin with. Once inside it took 15 mins for us to even be noticed that we were there and it is not a very large bar, there were maybe 12 other people there. There were two servers one of which was chatting the entire time we were there with one couple and not at all paying attention while her counterpart I believe was trying his best but just was not doing well. Once we had been noticed by the gentleman he gave us a flight card and then never came back and proceeded to serve the rest of the small bar. The other server stopped her conversation and instead of checking to see if we needed anything (since we were right next to her) she proceeded to start talking with other customers. Once another 10 mins had gone by (for a total of about 30) of not being served we decided to leave. It was unfortunate and disappointing to say the least. Maybe others will have better luck, certainly seemed like the others served at the bar enjoyed it...

Stopped in while on a mini vacation with friends. We tried all eight beers they had on tap. With the exception of the first one (which was just OK) they were all phenomenal. Some of the best beer we have ever tasted--and that was the unanimous opinion of three beer drinkers with very different tastes (one is an IPA fan, one a lover of dark beers and me, I'm the Pilsner/Lager guy). All three of us loved them all! Not an easy task for a group with such wide ranging preferences. Put it on your list of you're in the Hammondsport area.

My wife and I ventured into this brewery while we were on our minimoon down on keuka lake.I must say... EVERY beer they brew was INCREDIBLE. I left there with 3 growlers, and everyone I have had try this beer has said... "Where can I get it?"We have been here twice now, and each time I ask them if they have started bottling.Loved our experience, and will be going back to get "to bee or not to bee" very shortly.

The Hyperdeliciousness Chocolate Cream Stout is the Best Stout on the Market today. I prefer it over Guinness Stout. It's that great!!!!! The Brewery of Broken Drwams hit a Grand Slam when they created this beer!!!!!

When we come to the lake we bring our growlers to be filled and go to Brewery of Broken Dreams... great people, really good beers and ales, and just a short drive west of Hammondsport on Lake Street. Locally owned place that uses locally sourced ingredients.

The atmosphere was cute, along with the selection of beers. The only complaint I do have to offer is the lack of ebullient customer service and seating for guests.
