I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Plus hotel and I couldn't be more impressed. The location is fantastic, offering easy access to nearby attractions. The rooms were incredibly spacious and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring.One of the standout features of this hotel is the huge entryway and breakfast area, which provided a welcoming atmosphere to start the day. The breakfast spread was delicious and had something for everyone.But what truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional customer service provided by the front desk staff, particularly Mia. She was not only helpful and efficient but also incredibly pleasant. She gave tons of recommendation for nearby attractions and places to visit. Her enthusiasm and willingness to help is worthy of recognition.Overall, I highly recommend the Best Western Plus hotel for anyone looking for a fantastic stay, with good amenities and outstanding customer service.

I called and made a last minute reservation today..the girl was wonderful! Very accommodating and polite. Fast-forward to checkin. I didn't take my CC as I was paying cash. I live local and didn't think much of it. I was only going to use the pool with my child. The girl at the counter was rude...busy talking about how her manager"is the worst! Her name is....." I asked for several different solutions with not one being entertained. I was forced to leave with my crying, disappointed children in row. Also mind you she informed me that my CC will be charged even through I wasn't staying. How do you charge a card you don't have access to for me to stay there? Made no sense. I didn't cancel you won't allow me to check in...I will not be going back! She was very unprofessional. She also stopped assisting me not once but twice to help a customer with room issues and he solution was to ask her guest to move...again! Horrible service

We spent 3 nights at this hotel. Wonderful experience. Walked in the door and greeted by Chance in a suit jacket and tie and great checking in experience with him. Beautiful entrance, room was beautiful and very clean. Great breakfast, Michael worked the morning breakfast every day, very responsive and great food and clean area. All front desk staff during stay excellent. Would definitely stay here again without any hesitation.

Best hotel stay ever! When you enter the hotel it gives you a great positive vibes. The location is great and surrounded by nature.The lady at the reception, Elmina her name if I recall correctly. She has raised the bar of the customer satisfaction and upgraded our room. My kids were delighted with a spacious room and additional bed.The breakfast is complimentary and basic every morning food like cereals, waffles, fresh fruits, delicious sausages, eggs and a few more. The morning staff is very helpful and helped us with waffle making. Thank you for your services.Rooms: Great room and modern look. Clean sheets and washroom condition great

The breakfast they served every morning was delicious and the very friendly cook visited every table to make sure we were all satisfied and did not need anything. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again.Rooms: Spacious, clean, and quiet. They provided everything you need.Food & drinks: As stated above, their continental breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It was like eating at a restaurant. The service and quality of the food was exceptional.

Feels like a luxury hotel as soon as you see the hanging plane, the boat & excellent decoration & furniture.That is then followed by extremely courteous, polite & very helpful front desk staff.Room was very clean with all fixtures in working condition. Coffee machine, microwave, refrigerator were all included.Breakfast is great with protiens, carbs, fibers, juices and the smart coffee machine.Note that nearby ammenities are all local. Traditional McD's, Subway and Gas pumps are 5-10 km away.We loved our stay and will definitely come again when in the area.

Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Hotel accommodations are modern and new. Breakfast was great and staff was attentive, refilling food items, cleaning surfaces and asking if we needed anything. Veronica was a shining star at breakfast with a welcoming smile and staying on top of everything. Thank you.There's a brewery next door but we didn't have time to visit, maybe next time.

Thank you, Best Western Plus, for a very clean and warm stay . You have some fantastic employees working for you. They are super friendly and very nice to talk with. They were so helpful when we got to town and we were looking for a place to eat as it was late . We loved the added fire pits outside. They look great. Your breakfast in the morning was very nice. We found plenty to eat . The lady in charge did a wonderful job to make sure everyone was taking care of. Keep up the great work . If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay with you guys again.

Large selection of well prepared foods.Rooms: Rooms are large and always clean and comfortable.Nearby activities: Close to several quality wineries, breweries and distilleries. Hammondsport is a nice small town with a good variety of restaurants.

The best part about our stay was the staff. They were so very helpful and had a pleasant word to say at all times. The ladies who made breakfast were a delightful duo who seemed to really enjoy their jobs and worked well together. Kudos to Best Western for giving them the freedom to be creative with the baked goods they made for us every morning, as well as the complimentary cookies we enjoyed in the evening. On our last day we got to sample delicious new recipes and you could tell these bakers took pride in their work.Gotta say, too, that the pictures you see online of the lobby are highly accurate. Neat place!Food & drinks: I booked here mainly for the included breakfast and I wasn't disappointed. It was wonderful! Lots of selection between hot and cold foods, with many healthy choices to boot. Excellent!

Got charged way more for booking during a busy season (almost 2x the price) but the rooms weren't that great. Had a lot of road noise through the window, and the AC unit woke me up a few times. The worst part was that I chose this location for the charging station, but they ask for $10 a night and wouldn't budge! Even when I explained I have a smaller battery. I paid once but they wouldn't let me top it off one last time (the electric would have cost less than 50c).The only praise for this place is that it's a good location with good breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hammondsport Best Western. All of the employees were very friendly and accommodating. The morning staff (Beth) was exceptionally kind. Even moved some tables together for us for breakfast before we even started to look for somewhere to sit. Wonderful breakfast! Waffles with chocolate chips and confectionery sure were the absolve best! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will absolutely be back!

What a great surprise, the hotel is fantastic. From the moment of booking directly with the hotel the service has been excellent. The staff are friendly helpful and courteous. The breakfast ladies are charming, going out of their way to pickup plates and keeping everything spotless.Rooms clean, and beds comfortable.We came to visit wineries and the location was perfect.Sorry no negatives, will return again next year.

Amazing staff from the minute you walk in until you leave the premises. The front desk staff Holly and Spencer were so friendly and accommodating to our large family reunion (24 people) and quickly addressed any want or need.The breakfast buffet was large and well laid out and the breakfast staff headed by Melody were so attentive to all our needs even prior to us asking.Everyone at the hotel is the most friendly and caring staff we have ever come across. Thanks again for a GREAT visit. We’ll be back again.

I thought long about how many stars to give this hotel for our stay because the hotel itself is very nice, relatively new, rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast is decent and staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. If the story would end here, I’d give the hotel 5 stars for sure. However, unfortunately there is a huge issue which made our stay very unpleasant in the end and this has nothing to do with all mentioned above but with the noise level of the hotel. The construction is super cheap, walls are paper thin, the windows super thin plastic-like glass (if it is glass at all) and rooms are incredibly noisy. If your room faces the street like ours did be prepared to not sleep a minute because the noise from the cars and trucks are so loud, it’s almost as if they would run right through your room. Also you hear every noise from adjacent rooms, TV noise, talking, we heard boombox music from the room next to us all night long - awful. This hotel is zero soundproof to the inside or outside. Really terrible.

This was probably the best hotel we have stayed at during the past five years of our traveling. My husband and I have traveled both nationally and internationally. The manager and staff were fabulous -the hotel itself was absolutely spotless. Our room was beyond clean and very comfortable to sleep in. Any request or question that we had was dealt with in a wonderful professional manner. The breakfast options were very good and I was able to have a gluten free bagel each morning -they even offered to wipe down the toaster and toast it for me if I wanted them to -I did not but how nice of them to offer. If you need a fabulous hotel experience don't hesitate to book a reservation -you won't be disappointed.

I haven't stayed at a Best Western hotel in many years and I was beyond surprised at how wonderful it was! It looked brand new, and yet it was 6 years old! It is so beautifully cleaned and maintained! The room was spacious and pretty and the bed was so comfortable! The lobby has a lovely room for breakfast or to just sit and talk with friends. And speaking of breakfast, that was AMAZING! To begin with, Beth and Leslie greet you as you enter with such happy friendly smiles, as they say "Good Morning" to you! They let us know of all the offerings they have, which are PLENTY! Most hotels that offer a breakfast only have muffins, coffee, and maybe orange juice. Best Western has bagels, toast, muffins, hot and cold cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, homemade eggs, bacon, and a Belgium waffle maker! Beth even made them for me! And they offer every kind of juice, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, etc. They even come and take your plates so you can get a clean plate and go back up for more! Beth and Leslie made our breakfast such a fun experience! They even sang to my husband( Larry, Larry!)! I call them the Dynamic Duo! Another person we met was Brandy at the front desk. She too was friendly and helpful. It is so rare these days to find employees who act genuinely interested in helping customers or act friendly. What an asset these three women are to Best Western! We look forward to staying at this location again, and we hope to find the same welcome and wonderful stay at another Best Western in the future! The hotel was easily found in the main road coming into town. Google maps had no trouble directing me to it. Parking was ample and the surrounding view decent.The front desk attendant was fantastic and provided me with good local information. The dinner spot she recommended panned out well and ended up enjoying great burgers and beer that evening.The hotel exterior appears to be newer construction and the interior would agree. Minor janitorial and maintenance issues, non room related, otherwise I'd have given it 5 stars.
