My wife went for sand to add weight as she does each year for winter driving . She stopped in after calling ahead to ask if someone could assist in loading the 2 50lb bags she was going to get. They did assist in getting them to her car. However before she could get back to the trunk from moving 2 items to her passenger area the person dropped both in the center of a very small trunk, making her trunk unusable. The person who helped walked quickly back into the store . So proffesionally dressed she has to try and move both bags of sand to make room and also finds the bags opened when dropped in and now has a fair amount of sand in the carpet. Thanks for the great service !!! Now we will have to remove the sand bags to get a detail company to remove the sand in the carpet and re bag and put the sand in again properly distributed. So coat and clothes covered in salt from moving the sand side to side will need dry cleaning ... plus the detail . Priceless . Thanks Valu made another unhappy client.

Every time I'm in a rush and I tell myself, Lowes is too far, but Value is half the distance. Without fail, I waste more time because they NEVER have what I'm looking for!!Ex. I needed lag SCREWS for LVL beam...nope.Cut off wheel for concrete....(choice of 1 at triple the cost)....nope.Don't waste your time unless you are over the age of 75.

Absolutely love Valu Home Center. Quick and easy trip without the hassles. Always brings back memories of trips here with my grandfather. The smell of fertilizers and seeds bring it all back. Great hometown family feeling.

I went to Value for a couple of specific items and thought I would also check out the paint oops since they were on sale. I had a great associate who helped me find the items. The paint oops were placed on high shelves on the back wall so it was difficult to see since you had to lift each one to see what color they were. I like Value!

We lost our Valu Home Centers in Chautauqua County. We made a special trip to go to this store and it reminded me of why we liked it so much. Products we want & need, with good sales and friendly staff.

Just went in there and tried to buy a few pots with some potting soil. My card wasn’t working for the chip insert and the cashier said the swipe wouldn’t work if the chip didn’t work. I asked if there was no way she could type in my card number for me so I can buy the items I picked out and she said no. I feel like you guys should probably figure out a better system for that. Disappointing after searching around for 10 mins and finding everything I needed to not be able to pay for it and not getting any help. Just had to leave the store empty handed.

All the staff here are always so friendly and helpful. My mom stopped in to buy a few gallons of paint and painting supplies, but was called into work for an emergency before she could pay for it. The staff set everything aside for her until I was able to come in and pay for it the next morning. We greatly appreciated that! Thank you!

I always use True Value for my needed paints. They made a custom color for me and I found I was short about a half quart of the color to finish. Although the manager was a little concerned about matching a custom color and having to figure out the color being mixed to a quart size instead of the gallon so I wasn’t purchasing more than I needed, they gave it a try. The color matched perfectly. Tim and the other employees who assisted where great. This seemingly small act that some may say, a part of their job meant so much more to me than they know. Thank you.

Friendly people, helpful service and good ideas. They are good people and sell good products. Definitely worth your time to stop here over a bigger box store. They offer fair pricing and a good variety of mostly high-end products. They sell mowers and weed eaters, too.

Staff is always courteous and helpful every time I walk in there. Sale items are always in stock when advertised. Some items are more expensive than other similar stores, but they always seem to have a good sale on something going on. I just have to keep in mind that I came in for this or that and not complete all my shopping here for convenience sake. That would not be a sound financial decision. It would be costly laziness.

After 2 other hardware stores, I was lucky to find the exact kitchen faucet I needed (there must be issues in the supply chain or everyone else also has the same faucets. 🤣). EITHER WAY, the two gentlemen that came over to help me were both professionally kind and helpful. Turns out that particular faucet was ALSO on clearance!!! BAM BAM!!! That's what I call retail, y'all! Keep it up!!! Because I can tell you hands down walking into Value was so valuable today because unlike the big box stores, I felt comfortable, confident and wasn't intimidated y the hurds of people and dimwit employees who wouldn't know up from down if they were dropped backwards!!! I also didn't get lost!!!

Had a coupon that expired a week ago after being sent try OK me for signing up with their program. Went week earlier and because I didn't buy over 25 dollars worth of stuff I couldn't get a five dollar discount. I wanted to purchase 181 dollars worth of paint and requested they honor the coupon even though it was expired which I did not know. The cashier said no. Ok. I left and purchased nothing from them and went to home depot. Spent 5 dollars on gas to get there. Did they have to make an exception, no but I don't have to buy anything there in the future.

Went to go get screens told would take 4 to 6 weeks so just got the screen to do myself.. kid didn't know what he was doing other kid just came and ripped through the screen when I was being helpful and holding the frame and screen so he could cut and jammed a bunch of screen wire into my hand then they gave me spline that was to big and no tool to put it in so had to use a screw driver took me a hour to do 1 screen ugh

Prefer store on Union Road past Orchard Park Road. That store has great customer service and is very helpful. Always someone watching, close by to assist with any concerns and help you find what you need.

First let me start by saying I have 2 degrees in business management and work with customers on a regular basis. As soon as I walked in a was greated very politely followed by "is there anything I can help you with today" by store manager Jim Q. After telling him what I was looking for he walked me directly to it, even grabbing me a bag to put my nuts and bolts purchase in. He then asked if there was anything he could help with to which I replied I also needed a rug doctor. He said he'd have an associate up front right away to assist me. I didn't catch his name but he to was very polite and knowledgeable and made me a key after checking me out my rug doctor. Even while being checked out he brought the keys code up to the counter while it was cutting so I didn't haveto wait any longer than necessary. Then the cashier Matti was very nice and professional and finished of the whole experience to keep the customer service level at an all time high. I rarely ever walk out of a store blown away but the team at this store that I encountered deserve ever bit of recognition as they succeed in giving the highest customer service while having smiles on their faces. Excellent job Jim and employees.

The selection isnt what you'll find at the big store, but the employee's genuinely seem to care. I love going there to have chat. It's nice when a person has knowledge about the store/department they're in.

Had a screen repaired here over the summer. Said it would take 2 weeks. Took close to a month. Not sure why they can't offer same day repair, didn't look like anyone was too busy.

Always friendly staff greeting you at the door. Always asking if I need help finding things is very helpful. You don't experience this at big box places like Lowes.
