Clean store, and great selection. I have been shopping at this store for years. It is constantly updated, and the staff is friendly. We are not the biggest fan of Tops self checkout, though. seems buggy with orders over 2 items, but we will not give up and keep at it. The man monitoring it helped us every time we needed it (plenty)

12 packs of soda are buy 2 get one free according to the signs on the shelf. does NOT say anything about not being allowed to mix and match brands. i’ve gotten this deal by mixing brands before, multiple times at this specific store and other locations. just went in to try and get that deal again and now it doesn’t work? manager got extremely rude with me and kept arguing with me over this. she was trying to gaslight me by telling me that you never able to mix brands like that. So we left the cart and walked out. I literally work at a grocery store myself… if the sign on the floor says one thing then you have to honor it. anyone else want to read this sign for me and tell me what it says? since apparently i’m wrong even though I thought my eyes worked just fine

Workers are treated like servants by the customers as precedence set by the store itself. For example, customers don't bag or move their items into their carts; the cashier is expected to do all of it which injures their backs. What do these people do when they go to Target or Walmart or everywhere else you have to bag your own items and place them into your own cart like a capable adult? This practice of expecting the cashier to do everything actually slows down lines and causes injury, but management only cares about the customer and not their employees. Customers are incredibly rude to workers in degrading ways, treating them like servants instead of people of their community. Turnover is high because of poor treatment, low wages, and hours cut. I will not shop at a store that treats their employees so callously.

rita at customer service was too busy on her phone to notice i was standing right in front of her. customer service was closed all day at the McKinley location so take what you can get i guess.

This is one of the nicer Tops in the area. Their produce is usually great, they've got a wider variety of products, and you can always find a good deal.

Open 24 hours and easy to find. The store is HUGE and they have everything you need for any occasion. Every employee I encountered was very helpful and seemed to like their jobs! The place is spotless too!

Trainers, your cashiers , especially Rose, needs to be shown how to bag. After asking her to use all my bags (6) so they are not so heavy. I am observing her bag and she proceeds to load can after can and various heavier type items in one bag. I asked if she could please distribute the weight among the other bags. Her reply was. “I can’t do this and use three bags at one time!!!!! “. Please let her know that while she is bagging one bag she could REACH for some lighter items to add to the heavy one or use the SHELF behind her for heavy items to be mixed in with the lighter goods . I did not appreciate the RUDE comment and doesn’t Rose have any common sense at all? I did not deserve her comment and I hope she gets re-trained or find another job

I worked at Tops for 2 years. I must say it was a great experience. I liked everyone I worked with, especially Christina. I would still be there if I hadn't moved to PA.

I had interview there told person I want part time hours I look at my schedule for training I told person I had interview with I ask for part time not full time she said I should have told in interview she put blame on me for herself not listening to me about what hours I can work I had plan to work two jobs but after first day training found out I couldn’t do job I quit coworkers are friendly helpful unlike coworkers at wegmans and Tim hortons to work at employees at topps make you feel welcome and part of team don’t put blame on for something I told you in interview you should take blame not meSelf check registers suck there to touchy sensitive still better and cheaper than wegmans tops premade pizza and subs are better thicker.They have raised there prices up same with everyone people blame pandemic for raising prices pandemic is over prices are still up what will people excuse be for higher prices on food and gas they go up never down stop making excuses pandemic and inflation for example be honest you raised prices on things for this reason not something dumb that is over.

The woman working the deli was incredibly rude. She did not greet us, Than we asked her if we could have Aju with the roast beef, She responded with “sure”. She continued to roll her eyes and talk about how much she hates her job and customers. The entire situation made me incredibly uncomfortable and her coworker looked uncomfortable as well. She did not ask us if we wanted anything else and than tossed our stuff on the counter and rolled her eyes and walked away. She was tall w/ glasses with blue/green hair, She was not wearing a name tag. Visited on 11/23 at 350pm

Tops has good sales and friendly staff. A great selection of flavored seltzers at a fair price. I wish they had more meat/poultry options, and that the brands were better labeled. I never end up buying meat because the conditions in which the animals were raised is never really clear.

How they treat thier employees is unacceptable. The bakery manager snached a Cake out of my girlfriend hands while she was working and was complaining that my girlfriend was "tooo slow" for this Job and wasn't showing her how to Write on cakes or packing certain breads properly. Otherwise this Tops is a beautiful looking store!

In store on Oct 15, two items, only shop here for these items, not available in other stores. Express lanes removed to install more self checkout, one young man running back and forth to multiple problems, all self checkouts in use. Never again. Don’t be fooled, prices are high, you do all the checkout, bagging and no discount. Tops makes enough to provide service, No staff, thats an excuse for more self checkout! Saves the company money, new motto…no service, no money spent here.

Best tops in the area! Their cans and bottle return area is the cleanest one you’ll find. Staff is always friendly. The lines are never long even when the store is packed. I had a great experience with a cashier named Lyn K. Very friendly and helpful.

This use to be the go to store. Prices are jacked up, no cashiers so your left to do a cashier and baggers job for a large amount of groceries. Now we know tops can afford cashiers I mean they afforded the renovations they did.Nevermind the miserable looking cashier who has to watch self checkout or the self checkout that talks or the fact you still have to buy bags after doing someones minimum wage job.Looks like wegmans it is.

Love wide variety of foods available!!! Great ordering special pick- up from bakery + take out. All staff very helpful!!! Managers always available for questions + concerns/ problems. Store always clean. Young men in customer assistance all wonderfully helpful!! Haven't ever had to deal with staff "having a bad day"!!! Since I have to buy food, this is the store I prefer!

i am not one to write bad reviews. but today was such a horrible experience at this Hamburg location. i was in the last cashiers line, Kate i believe was her name. there was a customer ahead of me and the cashier was talking her ear off, the customer kept turning around to apologize to me but i said it was ok. i had about 50 items on the belt. one was a 2 liter of squirt. the cashier knocked it over and it started exploding everywhere, all over me, all over my groceries. she literally stood there and just had a blank stare on her face, which is when i said "can you do something?!" she said oh yeah, and slowly found the paper towels and just stood there staring at everything. so i took it out of her hands and tried my best to clean up this mess. she made me put the exploding squirt at another register. a manager comes over, doesnt help me AT ALL, as my groceries are now all sitting in soda, and handles a completely different situation. so as im quickly getting all my groceries back in my cart, i said "im going to another lane!" nobody replied to me and just kept talking to eachother. as i went to another lane, some guy brought over another squirt to the 1st register i was at, and the manager says "i dont know where she went". like you didnt realize me taking 50 items back in my cart and hearing me scream that im going to another register?? she didnt even bother to come find me and bring me the squirt or apologize in any way. the original customer that was before me actually brought it to me as she was walking out of the store.and as im cashing out in the new line, your manager just sat against her station and was laughing with her friends. please watch this scenerio on your camera! i was there on july 12 around 2:15.yall almost had me in tears, such an embarrassing experience.

We go here for one reason only...it's close to our house. The prices are generally higher than other supermarkets in the area, but you can usually get some good deals if you stick to the weekly specials. I say "usually" because often their special prices are still higher than others' base prices. The cashiers are generally pleasant, but the management is...how to put it...aloof and stuck up. I've seen the same management staff multiple times per week for years , but they never make eye contact or give you a greeting. (So much for the "Friendly" in their name.)

I filled up a 16 oz container with soup,No spoons.ask the girl behind the counter for a spoon she says "we're out of spoons" so I ask,"how am I supposed to eat my soup without a spoon "She shrugged her shoulders and says "I don't know,we're out of spoons "Wow,so obviously she was already aware but did nothing about it. "Out of spoons" I'm pretty sure that there are boxes of them somewhere in the store like maybe take some initiative and go get a box and fill the basket.

We shop there all the time, it's convenient for us. The gas points are nice, But due to declining produce and merchandise, I guess we need to find someplace else. The produce is a big factor. Lettuce that goes bad in a day or it's just a head of air. I am so done with their produce. From tomatoes to watermelon, latter being the last straw. The last 4 watermelons I have gotten were mostly white. Looks good on outside, but that's it. So disappointed in the decline of care this grocery store has.

I have had the worst experience in Tops a shopper could have. I was notified by the store that a towel from a promotion was being held for me at the store. In the process of receiving this "towel", I was accused of trying to steal this towel. I couldn't believe what was happening. I am a retired teacher who is disabled. They called me to come and get the towel. They wouldn't listen to me. I didn't shop at their store for quite a while. I still don't like shopping there. But being disabled limits where I go

Clean and bright store. Well stocked. Good fresh produce section. Meat department much better than many other locations; fresh and precut selection impressive.Store layout is a bit weird and the parking lot is smallish and could use some work. Does have a discount gas kiosk for self service on the Clark Street side. Traffic issues on South Park Ave can make certain times of the day annoying... as can Erie County Fair season.

Management needs to have more cashiers on duty and there is always something I need that is out of stock, especially if there is a coupon for the item.
