I would not recommend her at all! I missed an appointment with her. This would have been my 3rd time there. When I called her to apologize, she said no problem, but next time she needs 24 hours notice. I fully understand that, as she could have filled our slot with another customer.I set up another appointment with her and had my son pick up the dog. She sneakely charged an additional 25.00 because we didn't show the last time. She could have told me this when I made my appointment. When I called her she was very rude. Dont let her sweet outside appearance fool you!

My mom has been bringing her dogs to Chris for years and I bring mine every time I’m in town! She does an amazing job with them and is always very accommodating with fitting mine in with our last minute trips to town! (SO thankful for that!) Highly recommend!! :)

I can't say enough about the excellent job Christine did with my rather large, very hairy dog. He's 4, never been professionally groomed and when I went to pick him up, he was glad to see me but was in no really hurry to leave! That speaks volumes to me of his experience there. Thank you, Chris!

We have been bringing our dogs to Chris for almost 20 years. She is loving, trustworthy, honest person, and very, very good at her profession. We wouldn't bring are dogs to anyone else!!!!

Clipped my dogs nails too short and caused her to bleed. When I brought her in they asked if she needed to be muzzled. I couldn't believe they would ask that! The excessive use of force and, what I can only describe as, fear of my dog caused her to panic and thrash as they tried to cut her nails. When I went to pay they didn't have change for my $20 (they charged me $15) I was so angry I told them to keep the change, and got my poor dog out of there as soon as I could. My dog is incredibly sweet, and for a groomer to treat an animal they have never met so harshly is unacceptable.

Owner was welcoming, listened to my concerns and was attentive; the result was the best experience for my nervous dog to date getting her nails trimmed.

Great place to bring your dogs!Chris is really good with my Havanese and he always comes out looking AWESOME!I have been to five different groomers around Hamburg and found Chris to be the best by far.Shaggy Dog is a busy place so new clients have a harder time getting in but not impossible.All the negative reviews seem to be placed by people who haven't been able to get an appointment.

This place doesn't take large dogs, I would say that's bad for business!!
