I got the most beautiful centerpieces for a baby shower from Hess Brothers. They were great to work with and put together arrangements exactly as I requested. The flowers were fresh the delivery was smooth the staff was friendly and the price was reasonable. Thank you Hess Brothers!

Update on prior post: The smallest arrangement was delivered but we paid for the Premium size. What arrangement includes 5 roses and a few carnations for $80?? Hess Brothers refuses to reimburse us but offered a $15 credit to use the next time we place an order with them. ??? Really??? Why would we ever use them again? Buyer beware - the description of their arrangements on their website is completely inaccurate and they don't stand by what they're advertising.

I live out of state but have used Hess quite a few times before. The plant online and what was delivered was not acceptable. I'm disappointed that after email sent reporting this that I've still not heard anything from anyone almost two weeks later.

Hess Brothers put together the most beautiful wedding arrangements for me. I showed them pictures of what I had in mind and they made everything exactly like I wanted. The staff was so sweet and attentive. The flowers were fresh and absolutely beautiful for the wedding! All of the boutonnieres and corsages were labeled so there was so confusion. They made everything from ordering to picking up so easy! Thank you Hess Brothers for making my wedding that much more wonderful!

A cute local florist focused on customer service.....no more. Expect being placed on hold for too long, then speak to an inexperienced agent (not a Hess Bros employee) after waiting on hold for 15 mins, was told to call back again later.... so I decided to order on line.... the flowers were delivered a day late and when I called the check on the flowers that were late.... I spoke with another person (not a Hess Bros employee) that was clueless. I am done with Hess Bros..... you've been warned, good luck if you choose to roll the dice with them. Oh and the bouquet....was very unimpressive... shame on you for sending out what you did. Booooo...and I paid extra for additional flowers.

Florist Delivery Person “Mr.Bob” delivered a beautiful floral arrangement to our granddaughter during her lunchtime work break. She was especially overwhelmed and joyful when “Mr.Bob” started singing Happy Birthday with fellow work staff members joining in. Thank you so much Hess Brothers Florist and “Mr. Bob”. The floral arrangement was perfect - containing only pet friendly flowers!!!

They were very quick to deliver, but when the recipient was not home, they took care of the flowers, and said they would deliver the next day. They were so kind, and I am so grateful that they were able to deliver the following day, and to even be flexible about who they could drop it off to. (a neighbor just in case). I completely recommend!

OMG what a great family owned business. I recently ordered a garden dish for my neighbor that lost his sister unexpectedly. Hess Brothers expertise helped me choose amazing flowers were delivered the next day. I received such a nice call from my neighbor, thanking me for such a thoughtful and beautiful arrangement! Very difficult to get a hold by email as soon as they received my deposit. There was better communication later after I complained but I still don't think it made up for it.They told me they couldn't deliver to my venue because it was a labor day weekend and the boss wanted to take out his boat. So we asked the best man to pick them up the day of. He did and my bouquet looked nice except the dusty miller had already wilted badly. The girls daisy bouquet stems were really long and it didn't look like they took much time to wrap them. Sloppy.On top of all of that they did not include the throw bouquet I asked for and blamed our best man for losing it when I asked about it.I would have given them 1 star except I really did love my flower crown. It was perfect and besides the wilty dusty miller my bouquet was very nice.

Hess Brothers did an amazing job for our daughters wedding September 2019. The Arrangements were spectacular. Hess Brothers were overly accommodating to changes in design and theme of the wedding and captured her rustic, romantic, country vision. Working with Bonnie throughout this process was a pleasure. My daughter had 9 Bridesmaids, 20 table arrangements and a 2 tier head table and every flower and arrangement was her exact vision.Highly recommend.

I wanted to send my mom flowers same day as she was having a really rough time. It was already mid afternoon so I figured I was out of luck. A quick call to the store and the lovely staff person said they would do it. (I’m in DC, folks are in Hamburg) I placed the order online and in under an hour I received a voicemail from my mom about the beautiful, cheery flowers and that I had made her cry (I’m a good way). I am very grateful to the folks at Hess Brothers for their attentiveness, quick service, and understanding. I have used them in the past and will continue to do so.

I received SO many complements on my bridal bouquet and my husband's boutonniere. They turned out even nicer than I imagined they would. Their expertise and creative suggestions were extremely helpful and the quality of the flowers were perfect. My wedding was very small, but I've seen them do wonderful work with large scale weddings, too. So, they have no problem accommodating weddings of all sizes and styles. No wonder they are the oldest and most successful florist in Hamburg! I highly recommend them for any type of flowery occasion!

I called for a last minute arrangement for a family member. They delivered it that day and the delivery driver sang Happy Birthday to her. She was thrilled with the arrangement, the delivery and sending me pictures a week later to show how beautiful and well they were holding up.

My son's wedding was just a few weeks ago, June 16. The Monday before the wedding our florist emailed saying he would not be able to do our flowers for the wedding due to a family emergency. After calling several florists, I was referred to Hess Brothers. Everyone was so wonderful to work with. While our order was not huge, it would certainly help to make the wedding more beautiful. Hess Brothers did an excellent job with our centerpieces and we could not have been happier. They took the stress out of a very stressful situation. I highly recommend Hess Brothers Florist to anyone looking for a great florist to work with that provides great service and quality flowers. Thank you again Hess Brothers.

If I could give a minus star I would. My sister & I came into the shop to order flowers for my Uncle's funeral service (a 94 year old WW2 vet) We ordered a vase arrangement we saw in your catalog..red, white and blue. White carnations, 3 red roses and another flower tinted blue. We added a small american flag and Uncle to the arrangement. What we saw at the funeral home was a few white carnations in a vase, no red flowers of any kind and some kind a purple thing. Very disappointed. Not at all worth what we paid for it..could've gone down the street to Tops and got better. I've been dealing with you for years and won't be back.

Called the store on Monday for a Christmas arrangement said they would deliver in the next couple days they took the money out of my bank here it is Christmas Eve and still no delivery called the store at 3:45 today and they said they would check on order and call me back it is 3 hours later and no phone call back thank you for upsetting my Christmas with no gift for my sister in-law update they finally delivered it at 6:30 at night Christmas day sad to say but that's a little late to enjoy will not be ordering from you ever again have tried to call store 4 times and get a run around as to who I have to talk to for a refund can't get answers bad business

I can't speak for the quality of the arrangements, but beware of ordering online because they like to display a huge discount from the list price only to add back a big addition called "service and handoing" just before chekout. When questioned what this was, I was told you're getting such a huge discount from list that they have to add something bsck???? Sounds illegal to me.
