It was Bella’s first visit to Hamptonburgh, she was a little nervous. The vet and staff handled her very gently and were so kind. They answered all my questions. We will continue to use Hamptonburgh for Bella and our cat Owen.

I cannot recommend this office. There are so many issues. I brought in my cats, and the actual visit was fine. The problems started in that they didn't tell us everything that was being done. I was told of 3 blood tests, but not 2 injections. This resulted in 2 charges of 41.26. I tried to speak about this with the receptionist. Her response was literally "Well, you should REALLY know to tell the doctor what you don't want". As if I'm the doctor, and that's why I'm seeing....a doctor?! They tell me the office manager will be in contact with me. He isn't. I had to call 5 times (I counted) because he wasn't calling me. And I had to make separate calls just for test results. They refunded one of the injections. But ultimately the manager sided with the doctor that we were informed of the needed treatments. I'm so disappointed that the ball was dropped so many times and that they refused to take accountability for not letting me consent to all treatments being done.

My experience with this veterinary very satisfactory, Dr Nancy well examine my cat , she good take care my cat . My cat is doing well today thanks to this hospital, the staff when first call understand my emergency at time I thank you so much for giving me appointment for my cat in emergency. Was referred here from a family member and we're glad we were. We brought our new puppy in for shots and a check up. They gave us a nice welcome kit. The vet, assistants, techs, and office staff all treated us well. The appointments through the app that sync with your calendar are great for me as I have a tough time keeping them straight on my own. Pricing is very reasonable from what I have seen so far.

My dog was a patient of hamptonburg and I stopped going due to the drive (that was my first mistake) I decided to use a vet more local, but after awhile I realized the care wasn’t really there. The main concern at this local office was more about money, with constant rising prices, and less about the wellbeing of my senior dog. With last minute hope, I called hamptonburg to see my almost 13 year old pit bull who was having trouble with his back hips due to arthritis. When being seen by the vet and her wonderful staff, not ONCE did I feel pressured to choose an option they wanted me to choose. But I felt the choice was completely mine to make. They provided me with many different treatment options at different price points and gave my old man lots of love and compassion. It was a breath of fresh air. The front desk staff, although extremely busy, was never rushed or rude. She was patient and well composed. They also called to check on my dog and see how he’s feeling after his appointment. I am now reminded why I will continue to make the drive to hamptonburg as it is well worth the dedication and attentiveness of the staff.

Absolutely the most trusting, reliable, affordable, caring Vet for all pet needs. My Toy poodle has been going to HAMPTONBURGH Vet since 8 weeks old he’s now 8 yrs old and they’ve never been wrong when it comes to his health and needs. He just currently underwent a dental procedure and it was the best thing they could have done for him. I will always recommend HAMPTONBURGH Veterinary.

My fiance and I are on vacation and we got a call from our doggy daycare that Romeo had blood in his urine. I called Hamptonburg animal hospital and they got him in the same day to see Dr. J. What a peace of mind it brings to have a vet that is reliable, helpful and responsive when you’re out of the country. Romeo was very sick in the past and after going to several different vets and paying thousands of dollars for misdiagnosis,, oxygen and antibiotics, I didn’t know what to do but Romeo was very sick. I found Hamptonburgh Animal hospital and Dr J diagnosed his problem, operated and sent him home a new bulldog. I am so grateful for the team at Hamptonburgh Animal Hospital. They have guven my baby the best care over the last 2 years and keep him happy and healthy. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my fur babies.

Amazing place to bring your pets. I’ve been coming here a long time and they’ve always made sure my beloved companions are treated kindly and with love. Especially Dr. Jay - you can tell he cares deeply for all in his care. He helped my dog and I get thru a lot over years from lymes disease, diabetes, and bone cancer to name the big ones.

I am so thankful for Dr Tuthill and the wonderful staff at Hamptonburgh Animal hospital I was in urgent need of help with my dog who had fallen extremely ill and was under the care of another vet office that unfortunately didn't have any more answers for me. Within 5 mins of meeting with Dr Tuthill he knew what we were looking at and has since been able to give my dog the help he very much needed. I've never met a Dr. like Dr. Tuthill he is truly a blessing and the staff is just outstanding.. thank you all for your help with my pup I'm ever so thankful ❤️

We have been a Hamptonburgh Animal Hospital patient for almost 30 years. There is absolutely no other place we are taking any of our animals. Dr. Tuthill and his team are so thorough and loving towards the pets AND owners. They care about your fur-babies as much as you do! They've taken care of our 4 ferrets and 6 dogs. When I was much younger, my ferret fell sick on a weekend and Dr. Tuthill was away on vacation. He immediately made the 6-hour trip back home to see what he could do for my baby. Unfortunately, ferrets suffer from hypoglycemia and often die quickly. By the time he arrived, my ferret had passed. But the fact that Dr Tuthill cut his vacation short to help me was nothing short of amazing! I highly recommend this facility for all your pet care needs. Hands down the best veterinarian in the Hudson Valley. Hamptonburgh Animal Hospital rocks! Dr. Jay is featured in the pic 😊

I have been bringing my fur babies to Hamptonburg (Dr. Tuthill) since 2003. My fur babies have been seen for normal check ups to surgeries and every visit has been a comforting experience. The Doc is very thorough and takes the time to answer questions. Amazing Docs, Amazing staff. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have found the staff to be kind, caring and patient with my overly nervous golden retriever. Ellie loved all the hugs and love she received. The staff was exceptional with COVID precautions during the pandemic which made me feel safe for both myself and our dog. The best in the county. I tried a couple others for convenience of location but they don't compare!!! The vets at Hampton burgh Animal Hospital are there bc they truly care. The other vets it was more about $$ so totally turned me off

i have been bringing my little dog and my cat here for over ten years and my family has been bringing our dogs here even longer before that, and the people at this animal hospital are amazing. they are kind and nice and extremely helpful, Dr Jay helped my now 15 year old dog get through and live with kidney disease and she acts like she’s a puppy again. they have great prices and the customer service is amazing, i will always bring my pets here as long as i can.
