Food was delicious, fresh-made and priced reasonably. There was a sign asking for patience because there is only one cook but it didn’t seem that it was that slow. The shop had a great selection of homemade whole pies, vegetables, maple syrup and more. Just an overall quaint and good down-to-earth place with great prices.

The hamburger was big and the fries were very good. I asked for a burger medium and got a burger that was over cooked and very dry. The service was good and the atmosphere was not as good because a person came in screaming something about handicap access. I am also handicapped and I had no problem navigating. I would try again for a juicy burger. Hopefully it will be good

This is a class "A" country eatery generally known a the General Store. Friendly, country service and never heard anything but good about the quality foods served here. After several stops I have upgraded service to 5 stars as this is just a "country diner" and not a fast food delivery. Don't stop here with no time to chat.Consistent quality !

As the owner of Hilux Real Estate of Hadley / Luzerne, NY.I myself, Dan Novak have found this restaraunt to have delicious food and friendly service The waitstaff are always attentive and helpful. The owner Donna has created a great hometown feel with local food and fun. I occasionally sit at the counter and enjoy a breakfast sandwich and coffee. The prices are attractive.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Almost everyone who works there is so nice and welcoming ( we can’t all be chipper everyday lol) I’ve lived in this area ever since I was in middle school and they have been my go to breakfast sandwich place ever since! My boyfriend and I moved up to South Glens Falls and everytime were in the area we come to get them or sometimes we’ll specifically take trips up for just that! Donna is the sweetest & love that I know for sure all of my vegetables are going to always be fresh

Need to have more of a menu. Felt a little rushed even though hardly anyone was their. A little pricey. Should be able to buy pizza at least by the slice. Hotdog was burnt..friendly staff . It's good u can buy breakfast until 2pm. Nice location

New owners. Terrible service. I called ahead of time for 2 breakfast sandwiches, approximately 20 minutes before showing up. Upon arrival, I was told it would only be a few more minutes. I'm not unreasonable and was OK with that answer. 15 minutes later I asked where my sandwiches were and they had not even started to make them. What a waste of time. This place used to be great, now it's terrible. Don't bother

Excellent food, and prices. I love their home cooked meals and baked dessert. Very friendly staff. I go there on a regular basis to enjoy these yummy home cooked meals. Large portions too, you will never go away hungry. My favorite is chicken and biscuits, they have every Tuesday. Gem in the Adirondacks.

Great lunch spot! Try the Ruben, I get that almost every time. I've had the burgers too, awesome! The staff is super friendly and the food is great and fairly priced. It's small - can get crowded in summer during peak hours.

We stay in lake George every year and drive the twenty minutes everyday for breakfast during our vacation to this hidden gem. We love sandy! See you guys next year!! (The deli salads and steak were perfect for a little cookout at our cabin…no grocery store necessary!)

I have had the pleasure of enjoying my early morning breakfast after or at the beginning of my EMS shift. Sandy the owner and her husband are just like family. Good food cooked the classic way. The owners know how to take care of the EMS personal and takes money out of her pocket to put towards the bill.Please don’t listen to anybody’s bad review. Started stopping here for breakfast on my way up to Stony Creek. I gotta say I fell for it real fast, the people are characters. The food is amazing, first time I came in just for coffee, the food smelt so good I couldn't leave without a breakfast sammach. Now it's just about a ritual to stop before heading up the mountain.
