I had a problem today obtaining some scripts for a friend that I'm taking care of so I spoke with the pharmacist (Meggi?) and she went out of her way trying to call the doctors and really helped me out. In today's world its hard to find someone who goes the extra mile. Kudos to her for helping us out.

I was there today12/13/23, needed help finding a supplement from pharmacy($40-$70), I was told “woman just walked out that can help, he said “didn’t you just see her” Really?? Asked if there was a pharmacist there ”he said no”. Who is filling medications, I thought. In the past, also had problems with prescription looking differently, but didn’t tell me. Had me go back in to make sure I received the right medication for high blood pressure, after Walgreen told me to bring it back in. Only took me 45 minutes to drive back, and then tell me it was fine. (and didn’t look at meds). Will be changing pharmacy.

This Walgreens pharmacy has the worst customer service and I’m angry I’ve wasted so many years using them for my prescriptions. You get nothing but a runaround from everyone. I’ve been lied to, left on hold for 30+ minutes because nobody likes to take accountability.I will be switching to a new pharmacy for future scripts.

Horrible pharmacy help. The female pharmacist was worse.I went to pick up a prescription and told the Pharmacy tech at least twice I have coupon from Good Rx. My wife and I got the feeling she was trying to force the transaction. When she came back and asked which card, I asked how much since she never took the coupon. When I reminded her about the coupon, she said the transaction already went through.They brought over the pharmacist. She wouldn't even look at the coupon and insisted I had paid the higher price last time (not sure what that had to do with it for this transaction). Finally she asked for the BIN number and insisted the price on the coupon was the higher price even though it was crossed it with a lower price.I've been hearing for awhile this Walgreen's is short staffed. However they always worked hard to get you best price. Not sure what has happened.

Went to this Walgreens today at 1:17 for drive thru Rx pick up. DRIVE THRU sign said closed 130-2 for lunch. At least follow your own time frame...will have to make another trip.

Pharmacy staff is rude. Pharmacy manager, all but one pharmacist, technicians, even the interns are rude, unhelpful and entitled. Excessive wait times and reduced hours to top it off. Switched to market 32 and have never been happier. Walgreens, you’re FIRED.

Save yourself tons of time and frustration and do not get your prescriptions sent here. In my experience, they do not fill prescriptions unless you show up in person to bug them and then wait 15 minutes for them to fill it. If you have a question or concern and call them, I promise you will be on hold for more than an hour before you talk to someone. If they don't have your prescription in stock, they will order it but it will take forever to arrive and no one will update you as to when it will come.

If I could give zero stars or less I would. The pharmacy took appointments for the updated covid vaccines and sent multitudes of reminders. I drove 1/2 hour to the Pharmacy only to be told they had no vaccine! They had my contact info! An email would have been nice before I wasted an hour of my life and the gas to go there for nothing! Never again Walgreens!

This location does not compare to the one in Waterford, which is fantastic! At the Guilderland location, they don't acknowledge you in the drive through. After a decent wait on my first attempt, my prescription was not ready. I confirmed when to return. The second trip in the drive through took 25 minutes total. This time 10 to get acknowledged and 15 more for my prescription. Maybe I was spoiled. Is this normal?

Wonder why you are on hold with the pharmacy for an hour? Just walk in the store and youll see the phone hanging right there from the wall so they dont have to listen to it ring or handle anyone thats actually trying to call in. Place sucks. Took 2 years to finally have them tell me it was an insurance issue and not the prescription “being delayed” or “out of stock”. Hey, screw it, its not like i need inhalers to breathe. Place needs to be sued

Regardless of others’ experience with pharmacists, they never have my medicine ready to pick up. It’s usually a 10-min wait to get my prescription… Like I always have 10 minutes to spare! 🙄If the pharmacists were rude to me, I would give one star, but that hasn’t happened with me yet.

Went through drive thru for a covid test. The pharmacy staff let me know as soon as I got there that they would be right with me in a minute. Within 3-5 minutes I was attended to and given my instructions. It was quick, painless, and efficient. The staff was pleasant, courteous, and respectful. I appreciate the hard work they are doing through this pandemic as it has been a tough year for everyone, especially those who work in this field. Please be patient with your pharmacists and staff as they are doing the best they can given the times.I will most definitely be back to go inside and do a little shopping and might even possibly switch my prescriptions over in the future.

Just like all of the other reviews, I didn't even want to give this place 1 star. So many bad experiences, there isn't enough room to write them all. The management straight down to the last employee needs to be terminated! This location needs to be closed. The unprofessionalism, the lies, poor customer service, the poor pharmacy practices, the complete disregard for human beings, THE EXCUSES! all uncalled for. Enough said, let's close this place down!

If I could give minus stars I would. I have currently been on the phone for 2 1/2 hours on hold. When I called I was told there were 4 callers ahead of me. I have been the next caller for about 45 minutes now. Pharmacy at this location is horrible. Always messing up prescriptions. Not acknowledging you're there whether it be at the counter or drive thru. Wonder if my call will get answered before they go to lunch in 45 minutes?

Some of the worst customer service in the pharmacy department. If a pharmacist is argumentative with you if you’re asking basic questions about your prescription then they should seek another career.The situation with my prescription was a mess and instead of taking the time to listen, empathize and critically think, this pharmacist decided frustration and blame were the best options.Humanity goes a long way….especially if your in the human service business.This is why most people don’t like or trust corporations. They are soulless and attract the like. I pray that small business makes a come back. People who care and are passionate about the people they serve.

Showed up 30 minutes early for my covid booster appointment. They claim I never filled the form out online when I get and got confirmation that I submitted it. Then claim my insurance card was not for prescriptions, what ever that means. My appointment was for 11:50 and I’m most likely not getting out until 12:30 because there system screwed up. Not blaming the staff they were super kind and supporting blaming there technological systems.

Waited twenty minutes for them to even check if the pills were in stock when I was the only customer at the pharmacy. Ridiculously unorganized and when I asked after twenty minutes if they knew how much longer it would be they told me to just stand to the side and they were still looking. Forty minutes to refill a prescription.

I just tried to renew my prescriptions online and the number of days was wrong so I asked to be transferred to a pharmacist and was put on hold for more than forty minutes before hearing a message telling me that the pharmacists were now on lunch break and I could either hang up or wait for another 30 minutes. The service could be better.

Absolutely terrible. Been on hold with pharmacy for over an hour and it's always saying more than 3 callers ahead of you. Walgreens needs to do something about their lack of staff and attention to customers. This is why I always go to cvs, Only went here for 1 they were out of.

I placed an order for pick up with Walgreens Photo, unfortunately there was a mix up at Walgreens because of another order that I had placed online and I had to cancel this one. I tried cancelling the order online and they asked me to call the store. The store has only one phone number on google, so I called and was on hold for about 10 minutes. When someone finally picked up, it was the Pharmacy so they redirected me to another department. There again I was put on hold, when someone picked up, I was again speaking to the pharmacy department instead of the photo department. After being put on hold again, finally someone put me in contact with the manager who just refused to understand my predicament and refused to cancel my order. So after waiting for 20 minutes, they did not even help me. The customer service is horrible and the staff seriously lack empathy. Think 10 times before ordering anything from here.

Totally unsanitary and disgusting.... I went in today for a small purchase. When I got to the checkout, the cashier blew her nose into her hands as she walked over, then wiped them on her pants, then reached for my item to scan. I grabbed it and held it for her to scan, and then used a credit card instead of cash so she wouldn't touch anything. I was gagging as I left the store. I do not think I'll ever go back in there.

*update* (Went to the pharmacy and they have 1 pharmacist and 1 tech. It does not appear walgreens pharmacy management is appropriately staffing this location. Have never seen this at a CVS. Don't use the pharmacy.) On hold with pharmacy for 14 minutes, and got hung up on. On hold again for 38 minutes and still nothing. Don't use the pharmacy.

The worst pharmacy experience ever. Place a refill order on Sunday for a 2pm Monday pick up. When stopped by at 5:20pm on Monday, was told the order was in the works. After waiting for about 15 minutes was called and asked name then asked to wait as they would be working on my order. About 5 minutes later was called and advised they only had one of the two meds in stock and that I would have to come back the following day. The next day, on Tuesday stopped by around noon and was told the prescription would be ready for pick up around 4. Came back the following day, on Wednesday at 12:30; after waiting in line for 20 minutes were told that the prescription wasn’t ready and to come back in 20 minutes. Seriously??? Worst pharmacy service ever!!!!

I went to pick up my prescription here today and was told it was at another Walgreens. Asked if I could have the prescription moved to this Walgreens and I was informed that it could be. The prescription medication would not be ready for 30 minutes and I could come back for it. I told the technician Nottoway move yhe prescription I would go pick it up at yhe other pharmacy because I wanted to get it before the snow started. I drove 20 minutes to the other pharmacy and was told that it was at the pharmacy in Guilderland. I almost cried (because I wastired and hungry) and they said they could call it back and it would be ready in 20 minutes. I said no I would go back to the other store. I called to confirm that the prescription was there and I was on hold the first time for 53 minutes and the call got disconnected. Now I'm on hold for the second time and I have been on hold for 1 hour and 40 minutes. 30 minutes was a lunch break but the message said my call would be answered in the order it was received but the lunch time message said I was next in the que and yet that was 30 minutes ago. I remain on hold as we speak. I will be moving my scripts as convenient as this location is it is not worth the time nor trouble.

Went there for a COVID test after making an appointment and was turned away because of their own internal technical issues and (as I was told by a pharmacy staff member) because there was no Manager on site that afternoon. An unbelievably poorly run store and I would never go there again. Spoke with a completely unapologetic Manager 2 days later who then offered me a COVID test. I hope when someone this Manager loves is sick with COVID, that this person is treated exactly the same way I was treated by Walgreens.

Misbehaved staff and poor customer service,also the return policy is not understandable.The lady at the photo counter has no access to the keys, instead she keep jumping in front desk matters.Has no how to return products, Walgreens staff keep pressurising customer to but gift cards instead returning them into original payment method.

I was on hold for the pharmacy for 1 hour. After that i hung up. Poor customer service here.Again waited in drive through for 6 min before someone noticed i was there. They walked past me twice. It is now 1:27 they go get the meds i received a text at 10am that morning but could only find 1. So its now lunchtime for them i was asked to return in 30mins. And was actually told thats the best they could do. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Pharmacy needs more people to work. Request an item from them and get a response of it will be in next week. few days later they say We did not order it. Then you try to talk to some one on the phone and never get anyone. Spent 35 min on hold. Hung up waist of time.
